Chapter 12

† A Flood †

In the morning, Deckra woke Olan up. "Olan, look! A storm cloud!" Olan stretched and looked up. It indeed was a storm cloud. "We better get moving. We don’t want to be here when it starts to rain." Olan said. Olan and Deckra quickly continued their walk through The Canyon Of Spirits. They soon heard the first sound of thunder. "Quickly!" said Olan. It began to rain. Olan and Deckra broke into a run. The ground became slippery, the rain was coming down harder, and Olan and Deckra were on the canyon floor. While they were running, Olan looked around for a way to get higher. Tons of water soon stumbled over the walls of the canyon. "Hurry!" yelled Olan. As they ran, water rushed in from very direction. "Olan! Look!" yelled Deckra...... Olan turned his head, and behind them was a wave of water rushing toward them. Olan looked around for any way to get out of the water's path. Olan decided to climb up a vine on the canyon wall. Olan let Deckra bite into his tail again because there was only one wine. Olan quickly started to climb up with his claws. The rushing wave of water came closer. Olan climbed as fast as he could. Deckra hanging on his tail. The water was almost there, Olan could see it rushing toward them. Olan could not climb any faster, his legs were getting tired, and the water was rushing through every section of the canyon. When the water finally reached Olan and Deckra, Olan had climbed just enough. But he had to climb all the way to the top of the wall because if he climbed down, He and Deckra would be swept away by the water. Once Olan and Deckra climbed out of the canyon, all they could see of the canyon was a raging torrent rushing through the canyon. "That was close Olan." said Deckra. Olan and Deckra walked along the edge of the canyon to get to the other side. "That was disappointing, Olan." said Deckra. "What do you mean?" asked Olan. "Well, to get me out of the canyon, i had to bite into your tail so you could pull me up. That’s not right. Your tail is bleeding. My weight could have pulled your tail right off of you, and i must hurt." "My tail will heal.", said Olan, "Right now, we need to worry about the wolves who killed your parents, and kidnapped the love of my life." Olan and Deckra went around the canyon walls for about 54 minutes, and got to the other side. They laid down, and went to sleep for the night.

Chapter 13

† The Irolashion Wolf Pack †

Olan kept having the same dream about Alika over and over again. Each night that passed, he would have that dream. Olan and Deckra told each other about what has happened in their lives, about their hobbies, favorite food, and tons of other stuff. The two wolves became very good friends over time. They have traveled for miles and miles, following Alika's sent. "I can't believe how far we have traveled in just a few weeks. This is taking to long." said Olan. "I think we must be close by now." replied Deckra. "How far do the kidnappers want to go? How could they cover so much ground than us?" said Olan. For some reason, Deckra didn't answer. It was getting close to night when Olan and Deckra heard a small wolf howling. "Come on!" Yelled Olan. They ran toward the source of the sound, only finding a single wolf. "Hi," said Olan. "I’m looking for a group of wolves who kidnapped someone. Have you seen them or anything like what I described?" The wolf looked at Olan. "I’m sorry, but no I haven’t. It is getting late. Come back to my pack’s home if you want." Said the wolf. Deckra suggested that they follow the wolf, so they followed. When they arrived. Olan and Deckra sighted tons of wolves minding their own business, except for a few chasing each other. The wolf lead Olan and Deckra to a small cave. It’s so gloomy in here. I hope I don’t do anything stupid wherever she is taking us. A few minutes passed and she led Olan and Deckra to a big, gray wolf. "Welcome new ones. I have been expecting you. My name is Orson." "You knew we were coming?" asked Olan. "Of course I knew you were coming. The wolf that led you here, her name is Helenia. She told me she was bringing you here. Our pack is called The Irolashion wolf pack." said Orson. "How can she have told you if she wasn’t here?" asked Olan. "I shall keep that to myself. I don't mean to be rude. Now, why have you come to our pack's territory?" asked Orson. "Orson, i am looking for my love. Her name is Alika. She was kidnapped. The kidnappers also killed Deckra's parents." said Olan. "I know nothing about any kidnappers, and that name, Alika, is unfamiliar to me. Sorry that i can't help. But, if you need to rest for a few days, fell free to sleep anywhere in our territory." "Thank you. You are very kind." said Olan. Helenia led Olan and Deckra to the place were the rest of the wolves were. They eyed Olan with a cautious eye. The pack was eating some kind of meat. "Fell free to eat as much as you want. There's plenty in the cave. Helenia pointed her nose toward the cave. Olan went to grab some meat for himself, and Deckra. While thy were eating, one of the wolves said to another, "I can't wait until the full moon. The most fun anyone can have in one night." Olan was confused about the full moon, but he remembered that wolves howled at it at night. Olan left to go explore. He was walking in the forest when he smelled something familiar. He followed the sent to a cave. I don't think i should go in there. Who knows what’s in there. Olan went back to the pack, and fell asleep.

Chapter 14

† Endless Fights †

It was morning. Dew on everything, which soaked Olan’s fur. Olan stretched, yawned, then stand up. He looked around to find that the rest of the wolves were still sleeping. Olan quietly left the pack, and went to find a nice, warm spot heated by the sun to dry of his wet fur. He finally found a warm patch of grass. He laid down in it, and began to dry off. He enjoyed the warmth of the sun on his wet, cold fur. I love this new life. But I need to find Alika. Who kidnapped her in the first place, and why did they? I will find her. Deckra will get his revenge on the kidnappers for killing his parents, and I will have my revenge for them kidnapping Alika. When I find her, I guess I can tell her the truth about her mother and me. Once I find her, I will tell her. too much has happened. Once Olan’s fur was dry, he went hunting for deer or elk. Whichever one he could find first. Olan first found a deer. He ate it quickly, then went to go find some more. Once Olan ate all he cold possibly eat, Olan returned to the pack. I don’t think I should stay with this pack for long. I am a member of another Pack, an if they find out, I will be tonight’s meal for the pack. I will return, find Deckra, and then continue my search for Alika. When Olan was back, all the wolves stared at him, whispering to each other. Olan began to run, looking for Deckra. Olan then ran into Orson. "Im sorry, Orson." Said Olan. "Its ok. I was looking for you actually. Come with me, please." Olan followed Orson to a huge cave. Olan cleared his throat. Olan and Orson came to the other end of the cave. When they exited, they were at some sort of arena. Wolves circled around the ledge edges, cheering for Olan. "Why are they cheering, Orson? I didn’t do anything special." said Olan. "They are cheering you on. You are about to fight another member of our pack. If you win, you will take his place as hunting leader. That means you will be the leader of the hunting group." Orson walked away quickly before Olan could say anything. The arena were he was fighting was a circle of grass with a small pond in the middle. Olan saw a figure emerge from the cave on the other side of the arena. Once the wolf was out, he said, "Hello new meat. Ha Ha Ha Ha! Prepare to be vanquished!" He slowly walked to one side of the pond, as did Olan. A wolf on the ledge yelled, "Let the batlle begin! Winner takes all, loser wont recall. Fight!" The other wolf walked slowly toward Olan, Olan backed up, as the other wolf got closer. Olan jumped at the other wolf, hoping to catch him by surprise. But this wolf was too quick for Olan. He bit into Olan’s leg, and threw him in the water. "You are not strong at all, your skin and bones. Theres no way you can win. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!" Olan was baerly able to get out of the water, but he managed. "Who ever you are, just leave me alone. I don't want to fight. I just want to leave." said Olan. "I am Scarabar, and what does it matter who i am. You are going to die here, right now. I will not let you take my place." Scarabar kicked Olan with his hind legs, knocking Olan to the ground. Scarabar approched the defenceless Olan, prepared to kill. Scarabar drew out his claws and threw them at Olan. Scarabar began to rip up Olan's face with his claws. "Your near death, I like death... Now, die!" Scarabar bit into Olan's belly, hoping to give him internal bleeding. Olan yellped. Olan was to weak to do anything to defend himself. Help... Someone help.......please... As Scarabar went to kill Olan once and for all, a blue light surrounded Olan, creating a shield of some sort. Scarabar wammed into this sheild, and flew back. The wolves on the ledge were stunned with amazement. "Olan.... You have heard me speak to you before, as you were leaving your pack. Now, i have protected you from dying. To defeat Scarabar, stand up, and say Runtu Carta Arny Plyna. Good luck." The voice was familiar to Olan. It was the voice he had heard when he first left the Aquavon pack to find Alika. Scarabar was getting imaptient for the blue sphere to disapate so he could kill Olan. Once the sheild disapated, Olan used all of his remaining strenghth to stand. "Scarabar..... I won't let........... you win." "Oh, and how will you do that? Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha" said Scarabar. Olan said the words the voice had told him. "Like this. Runtu Carta Arny Plyna.". Red mist circled Olan. Scarabar had no idea of
