impressed. "Well, i see you have a good memory. This healing magic can be quite usefull. Now, the third stage is used to grow back any part of the body that has been removed. The words are Huno Runsa Mona Olka." Plomon went into the back of the cave, and brought out the dead deer again. Plomon used his claws and teeth to rip a leg off the deer. "Now, just like Huno Runsa Mona, put your paw over the part were the bone and flesh is revealed." Olan put out his paw and said, "Huno Runsa Mona Olka" His paw began to sting a little. Olan's paw began to glow green, then green waves came out of his paw onto the flesh and bone. His eyes watched as bone grew from the riped apart one. Then the flesh and skin grew over it. "Exelent work." Olan needed to tell him about the sting he felt. "Plomon, when my paw began to glow green, i felt a little sting. Is that bad or good?" Plomon began to laugh. "Olan, the sting you felt just means your paw is worn out from using the magic. Thats all. The waves of collor come out of your paw, that's why it stung." Said Plomon "But when i come in this cave, i see you and those other 2 wolves howling, and i see a blue mist. Doesn't that hurt? I see the mist every time i come here." Olan said. "Olan, the mist means the spirit of Caana is near. She was the first wolf to ever use magic. We ask her spirit to guide us. Caana had the most knoledge of magic, she could even prevent the ones she cared about... from dying. That is why we invite her spirit while practicing magic. Well, thats enough. Goodbye." Olan felt insulted that Plomon always shoves him away. When Olan got to the cave, he looked for Alika. "Alika" He heared no one. "Alika!" Olan say paw prints leading out of the cave, and toward the valley. But there were several pairs of paw prints. She has to be in the valley. But why would she go out there this late. Olan ran as fast as he could toward the valley. But when he got there, he saw nothing. "Alika!" He yelled. He knew what had happened. Someone had kidnaped Alika. Olan picked up Alika's sent, and went out after her, hoping to save her. Alika, wait for me. Im coming to save you.

Chapter 9

† The Journey Begins †

Before Olan could start running out of the valley, Darcull ran in front of him. "Were do you think you are going?" What should i tell him. "Darcull, i....... um...... Was just going to......... um........." Darcull interupted, "You have a long journey ahead of you. I wish you luck.." "How did you know i was leaving?" said Olan curiously...... "I saw them take off out of the valley. I didn't go after them because i knew you would want revenge on those wolves that kidnaped Alika." Olan growled at Darcull. He could have stoped them. Why didn't he? "You best be going, Olan." Darcull howled and Olan joined him. "Now go..... Good luck." Olan howled one more time and ran from the valley. Olan heard the wolf pack howling behind him as he ran. The howl grew fainter and fainter as he went farther into the distant land. He followed Alika's sent for miles, but he couldn't seem to find Alika, or the wolves that kidnaped her. Olan soon came to a small oasis. "I guess i can sleep here tonight." He said to himself. But then, Olan heard a small noise in the bushes beside him. "Who's there?" He asked. "I can not tell you who i am. But i know who you are. Your Olan." Said the voice. "Show your self! Now!" Olan demanded. "When the time is right, i will reveal myself to you. Now, i can guide you to Alika if you want." Olan growled. "How do you know i am looking for her?" "I am everywere, i know everything, and can do anything. Now, do you want help or not?" Asked the voice. "Only if you can take me to Alika." Said Olan. "When the star shines bright, and the mountains are high, you follow them, and find Alika." The voice quieted. "Are you still there? What do you mean the star shines bright? Or the mountains are high? Hello?" Asked Olan. But what he had heard from was not in Olan's presence anymore. "Darn." Olan said to himself. Olan found a patch of soft grass he could sleep on for the night. What did the voice mean about the star and mountains? I need to find out what. Olan looked up at the moon and howled. He noticed that there was a realy bright star next to the moon. This confused him a bit. I think i should go in that direction. Olan got up and ran in the direction of the bright star. It was difficult for Olan to run and try to pick up Alika's sent at the same time. Once he got her sent, he ran. He did not even stop for a breath, food, water, or anything else. Alika,..... You will be ok. Olan sniffed the air to keep a hold on Alika's smell...... But this time, he smelled something different. He looked down and saw tons of wolf foot prints in the mud. "I must be close." Olan said. Even though Olan was alwready running, he ran even faster than before. "Alika!" He yelled But he heard no answer. "Alika!" Still no answer. After a few hours of running, Olan heard a small howl in the distance. Olan thought it might be Alika.. When he got there, he was sad to see that it was just a small, homeless wolf howling. "Um.... Hi.... Have you by any chance seen any other wolves pass through here?" Asked Olan. "My name is Deckra. I was with my parents when the other wolves passed. The attacked my mom and dad..... Killed them, and left with my parents dead bodies. They left me here. I don't know why." The little wolf cried a little. "Don't cry Deckra...... I am sorry i brought this up, but did they have a girl wolf with them?" Asked Olan. "Yes. They did. She was being held against her will." Said Deckra. "I am chasing those wolves to get her back... Would you like to come with me Deckra? You can get revenge against them." Deckra's face filled with anger and hatred. "I do want revenge. I will come." Said Deckra. Olan and Deckra left, following the paw foot prints. Alika. Don't worry. I'm coming for you.

Chapter 10

† The Canyon Of Spirits †

As Olan traveled with Deckra, he kept wondering where the thing he heard at the oasis was, or what it was. This thought banged around in his head like an angry tiger, searching for the answers. The paw foot prints on the ground soon faded, and the ground grew harder. They soon came upon an enormous canyon. That streched beyond the two wolves eye sight. They got to the edge of the clif that entered the canyon. "The fall would be able to kill anything that fell of this cliff." Stated Deckra. "I agree. We need to find a way down." Said Olan. Olan noticed that his claws were still out from when he and Darcull were digging a hole to put Cardbites body in. "If we use our claws, we can grab ahold of those plants on the canyon wall, and go down slowly." Deckra noded and they started their way down the canyon wall. "This is easier than i thought, Olan." But Deckra's words are easier said than done. Deckra bit into a think branch streching out of the canyon wall.. But in a matter of secconds, the branch broke.. Deckra began to fall... he was getting closer to the ground. He quickly bit into a small plant on tje canyon wall. The plant began to come out of the cliff side. "Hold on Deckra!" Screamed Olan. Olan slowly got close to Deckra. There were no plants or branches under Deckra, so if Deckra fell, He would be no more. Olan was above Deckra. "Bite into my tail! I will pull you up!" Olan felt sharp pain race through his tail. Olan hated this plan, but it was the only thing he could do. Olan noticed a vine beside him on the canyon wall that touched the canyon floor. Olan lept at it, but Deckra's wait pulled them down fast. But Olan managed to bite into the vine. Olan slowly went down it to the bottom. When Deckra took his teeth out of Olan's tail, Olan yellped and screamed. Deckra didn't know how to heal, and Olan couldn't do it himself because he could not reach his tail, so Olan decided to ignore the pain. His tail was trailing with blood, but Olan didn't care because he had to let Deckra bite into it to save Deckra's life. "Wow. This canyon is huge, Olan" Said Deckra. "It sure is." Olan sniffed the air to stay on Alika's trail. Olan and Deckra began walking through this enormous canyon. They came upon a small waterfall with a small pond around it... Olan and Deckra raced to get a drink. "I bet i can drink more than you can Olan." Said Deckra. "I small a bet." Replied Olan.. Olan and Deckra began gulping down as much water as their bodies could posibly hold. After 32 miniutes of drinking, they rested. The water drinking contest had no winner. But a tie. They went to sleep for the night under a small oak tree, waiting for the next day to come.

Chapter 11

† The Dream †

Olan was not sleeping well. He kept having nightmares of Alika being kidnapped. Note to reader : The rest of the chapter will take place in Olan's dream until you see ( )

Olan was walking through the valley were the wolves were. All the wolves kept staring at him. "Why are you staring at me?" The wolves did not answer. Olan looked up and saw Alika, sitting on a hill. Olan walked up to her. But before he could get to her, 6 wolves came and snatched her. Olan ran after her, but one wolf jumped in front of Olan. "Were do you think you are going? Back to your dead tribe so you can annoy us like you always did?" Said one of the wolves. "Get out of my way!" Demanded Olan. "Time young blood..... Time...." The wolf faded into the air, and Olan fell to the ground, filled with pain. He then heard a loud howl come from behind him. He got up and looked at what was howling. I was Darcull. "Time, Olan, Time." Darcull faded into the air. Olan was alone. ‘Time, Time, Time, Time." The sound slowly faded. Olan heard Alika screaming. "Olan! Help! I need you!

Olan woke up from his nightmare with a jump. He was breathing hard, and could not stop. I’ve been having that dream since Alika was kidnapped. I just have to go to sleep. Everything will be ok.
