Chapter 5

† History Of The Wolf Pack, And Magic †

It was morning. The sun was about to rise. Olan was woken by Alika. "Hey, um Olan, would you like to come watch the sunrise with me?" Olan was suprised. Alika? asking me to do something with her? This is awsome. "Yea. Ok. I'll come. Olan yawned, then Alika nudged him with her nose. They walked for about 24 miniutes. They were on top of a mountain. "Wow. This is an amazing view Alika. Do you think so?" "Yes. i do." They laid down beside eachother, and waited for sunrise. "Finaly. Look!" Olan looked up and say the billions of colors of the sunrise. This is amazing. They watched the sun rise, flipping their tales back and forth. "Olan, im sory what has happened to you in the last few weeks. Losing your family, home, friends, it must have devastated you." Olan decided to reveal a few things of the truth, but not enough to let her know that he was the one who killed her mother, or that he once was a human. "Alika, at my old home, i had no friends. They always icked on me and pushed me around. My mom died in a attack, and my father died 2 days ago in an ambush. My life has never been easy." "What do you mean?", asked Alika , "I haven't seen anyone bug you exept Cardbite since you got here. Don't worry. Cardbite picks on everyone." "You don't understand what's realy going on here Alika. But i can't tell you a few things because it would ruin my life even more. I am happy to have a friend. I had no friends at my old home. I made a friend here in just 2 days. I could never do that at my old home." Alika looked at the sunrise, which was almost over. "Olan, trust me. You shouldn't care what other people think. Even humans go by that. Well, not all of them, but some do. Do you know how long it took me to get over the humiliation when i first joined the pack. A long time. But the more i was around, the less i cared about what others think. Cardbite would spread untrue rumors about me, and they embarased me so much. But he stayed with Alika for the rest of the morning. Later in the day, Olan and Alika went hunting together. They hunted all kinds of animals. Deer, birds, cows, even moose. They began eating there huge feast. "Wow this stuff is good. I have a brand new favorite food, Deer meat." Alika looked at him suprised. "You've never had deer meat?" "No i havent. My dad always told me to...........", When he said DAD, it reminded him of his dad. All of the happy times. "Olan, im sorry i brought that up. Lets eat. Finish your food quickly. Darcull is going to tell the story about our packs history. That could be usefull maybe. He might tell of something i can use to be human again. Olan scarfed down his food as fast as he could, along with Alika. They ran toward the field were Darcull was telling the story. They arived just in time. "Welcome pack. I am going to tell the story of how our pack came to be. 800 years ago, we wolves lived here in peace and harmony. But then indians came in from another land into ours. We did everything we could to stop them from coming, but all have failed. They captured our pack members, stole our food, even used us as food! So, over 600 years, the wolves, hid. Thinking of a way to overthrough any indian tribe that came our way. But 100 years later, A magician from a indian tribe found one wolf cub. She raised her for 2 years. The wolf's name was Caana. She found out how we were forced to strugle in the situation we were in. Caana became enraged. So, Caana learned how to transform living creatures to her kind. Once her owner taught her this, Caana killed her in her sleep. Then came and joined our pack. Caana taught tons of members how to preform this kind of magic. Then, we attacked the first indian tribe and won our first battle. We then were forever called The Aquavon Wolf Pack. Thank you." Darcull walked away, silent. If Caana learned how to use this magic, i can to! But i need to ask Darcull to teach me how to. But i will ask Alika first. Hopefully Alika will teach me, if she knows how. I can transform myself back to human. But i'm not sure i want to be human again. I like Alika to much to leave her, and she probobly likes me to. This is going to be a hard disison. Olan walked back to his cave and invited Alika to sleep in the cave with him that night. On their way to his cave, Olan asked Alika, "Hey, um, remember how Darcull said Caana learned how to use magic, well, do you know how to do any magic?" Alika laughed and said " I can do a little. But the littlest i can do is heal wounds. That's all." "Can you teach me?" Asked Olan. "Sure. Why not." When they got to his cave, Alika began to teach him how to heal. "Ok Olan, bite my fron leg as hard as you can." She laid down and put it out. "Are you crazy!? I can't hurt you! That would just be wrong." "I'll be fine. Bite as hard as you can. Rip the skin off if you want to. Even down to my bone." Olan was confused. But he did what she said. He bit into her arm with his sharp teeth. She yellped, screamed, and cried as he riped the skin off. He continued until he saw a little bit of bone. "Ok. i can't do this any longer..." He looked at her face. It was soaking wet from tears, and she was still suffering pain. "Now....... say....... Huno Runsa ........ and put your paw...... Over my leg. Over the bite...... " Olan could not see her in pain, so he did as instructed. "Huno Runsa." He put his paw over her riped to pieces leg. His paw began to glow orangeish red. Little waves of color touched her leg. Olan watched with amazement. The flesh grew back almost instantly, the fur, flesh, everything was back. "Wow" He said. "And the best part of this is that i didn't even fell a thing when my flesh was growng back." "I am a little tired. Lets sleep for tonight." They cuddled up with eachother to saty warm while they slept. I like it here.

Chapter 6

† Love Is Revealed †

The next morning, Olan woke up before Alika. She was sleeping right next to him. fur to fur. Olan tried to move without disturbing her, but he couldn't. So, he slowly pushed her over, and stood up. He streched, and walked out of the cave. He went hunting. He brought back some deer meat for Alika. He had alwready ate another bit of deer meat. He opened his mouth to let the huge piece of deer drop in front of Alika. He walked out of the cave and stood before the ledge. He watched sunrise begin to start. I have never howled before, but i can try. Olan sucked in his breath and gave out a long, deep howl. Awsome! I howled for my first time, and i didn't mess up! I wonder if Alika is awake yet. Which way shall i go. Should i learn to transform myself back into a human, or stay a wolf, and stay with Alika. How did my life get so screwed up. I love Alika, but i am not ready to tell her that. What if she doesnt fell the same way i do about her? She probobly does. I think i should tell her the truth, about her mother. That i was the human that killed her mother. But i don't want to tell her because i could ruin my friendship. Its decided. I will tell her tonight. Who who who time out! What am i saying? I won't tell her unless our lives depended on it. Olan whent 3 caves down, Just like Darcull said. When he arrived, he saw 3 wolves howling. A blue mist swirled around them. "Um, hi." Olan said. The wolves stoped and look at Olan with a curious eye.
