Revenge Is My Name Part 2

Rachen sat in the cave starring into the darkness he thought about that evil wolf who almost claimed his soul. Bien saved him by binding her own soul to his, Rachen thought “what’s going on with me” just then Rez and Bien walked into the cave. Bien says “Rachen how are you doing” Rachen lowered his eyes to the floor and whimpers, she says “that bad huh” Rez snorts and says “when will you get over it Rachen.”    

            Rachen looks up at him and says “I don’t know what’s wrong with me I can feel happiness anymore” Bien eyes start to water up with tears and says “ Rachen what does this evil wolf want” Rachen shrugs and says “I dunno.”

            Later that day Rachen sat with Rez and Bien eating a fresh dear they hand just caught, Rachen’s eyes darken he starts to see memories flash in front of him. He watched as his mother a grey wolf running away from a bunch of dark shadows while he sees himself as a pup cowering near a tree.   

The scene changed as he saw himself being born his father was a dark wolf with cruel eyes saying “I name you Rachen meaning Revenge” he went on saying “you will come to kill the two leggers and kill anyone in your way in order to exact a retribution for the wolves that have been killed and if you don’t you will lose your soul.” 

The memories fade he starts to hear a distant voice saying him name over and over. He felt like his heart would burst in fear he thought “am I dead” his vision returned, he came face to face with Bien. She looked at him with worry saying “are you ok” Rachen stood up cracking his bones and says “yeah I am fine” he felt a bit woozy.            

He says “what happened to me” Bien was about to say something when Rez interrupted saying “you slumped over from what we felt you were on the verge of death Bien called to you which I guess brought you back.” Rachen stood there and started to shake Bien says “Rachen what’s wrong” Rachens replies “something wants me to destroy the humans and if I don’t it will take my soul away” Bien upon hearing this starts to shake herself. Bien says “why…. where did you hear this” Rachen replies “I had a vision where things I never even remembered come back to me it is my father who cursed me with this and it is him who is going to reap my soul.” 

Bien stops shaking and says “well we won’t let him” Rachen falls asleep his body exhausted from the days excitement. The next day Rachen and Bien are walking through the forest when he stops in his tracks looking at a abandoned wolf den. Bien looks at it and walks towards it Rachen follows he looks into it and says “I wonder where the family of this den went” Bien looks at him and says “maybe they left because of the humans.”             Rachen shrugged as he turned from the den he saw his father standing in front of him. Bien looks as his body clenches in fear but she sees nothing, Rachen feels a jerk rack his body he sees no more, Bien watches as Rachens body drops to the ground lifelessly. Bien feels her soul starting to be jerked away from her body she digs her claws into the ground and refuses to let her and Rachen’s souls go.     

She starts to feel weak all of a sudden she sees the evil wolf and he has Rachen in it’s jaws, she sees a silver cord from his soul to her body. She tugs at Rachen hard the evil wolf spits out his soul saying “other time” and disappears, Rachen soul gets up and trots over to his body there is a flash and Rachen gets off of the ground saying “thanks” she nods and says “welcome.”

            They make their way back to their territory once they see Rez they inform him about what has happened he says “well how can we protect you against this menace” Rachen says ‘I don’t think there is anyway” he lays down and looks at them Bien says “well we will have to find away” she sits and thinks and then says “I know” she whispers something in Rez’s ear and he backs away saying “what no way that monster almost took you when it came after him why do you expect me to do the same” she growls and he says “ok what do I have to do” she says “concentrate on Rachen and bind your soul to his” Rez cocentrates on him he feels his soul bind with Rachen’s. He says “will this work” she nods and says “f it kept him from being taken then yes it will” Rachen looks at them and says “thanks” he looks from them and watches as night spreads over the land.
