shows a snowy dove trooping with crows, as yonder lady o'er her fellows shows.”
He moved slight closer, “The measure done, I'll watch her place of stand, and, touching hers, make blessed my rude hand. Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight! For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night.”
He took a breath and went to approach her. Thunder who was near by heard him, he quickly walked over to Steele. “This, by his voice, should be a Montague.
Fetch me my rapier, boy. What dares the slave
Come hither, cover'd with an antic face.”
He turned to show him Kodi who was slowly walking though the dogs that where enjoying themselves with dancing and laughter, “To fleer and scorn at our solemnity? Now, by the stock and honor of my kin,
to strike him dead, I hold it not a sin.”
Steele shook his head, “Why, how now, kinsman! wherefore storm you so?”
He continued with anger in his voice, “Uncle, this is a Montague, our foe, A villain that is hither come in spite, To scorn at our solemnity this night.”
Steele looked over at Kodi on the other side of the room, “Young Kodi is it?”
He nodded his head, “'Tis he, that villain Kodi.”
Steele put a paw on Thunder’s shoulder, “Content thee, gentle coz, let him alone; He bears him like a portly gentleman; And, to say truth, Nome brags of him To be a virtuous and well-govern'd youth.”
He went on, “I would not for the wealth of all the town Here in my house do him disparagement: Therefore be patient, take no note of him.”
He took his paw off his shoulder, “It is my will, the which if thou respect, Show a fair presence and put off these frowns, and ill-beseeming semblance for a feast.”
Thunder growled, “It fits, when such a villain is a guest: I'll not endure him.”
He turned to him looking at him in the eye, “He shall be endured: What, goodman boy! I say, he shall: go to;
Am I the master here, or you? go to.”
Thunder turned but Steele put his paw on his shoulder so he wouldn’t break eye contact, “You'll not endure him! God shall mend my soul! You'll make a mutiny among my guests! You will set cock-a-hoop! you'll be the male!”
Thunder sighed, “Why, uncle, 'tis a shame.”
Steele nodded his head, “Go to, go to; You are a saucy boy: is't so, indeed? This trick may chance to scathe you, I know what: You must contrary me!”
He went running the party, “marry, 'tis time. Well said, my hearts! You are a princox; go: Be quiet, or More light, more light! For shame! I'll make you quiet. What, cheerly, my hearts!”
Thunder growled but did as he was told, “Patience perforce with wilful choler meeting makes my flesh tremble in their different greeting. I will withdraw: but this intrusion shall now seeming sweet convert to bitter gall.”
Kodi was now close to her; Dusty, he made a slight pause before moving closer she was sitting away from him; she did not know he was behind her.
He ventured closer he gently raised his paw and touched hers, “If I profane with my unworthiest paw This holy shrine, the gentle fine is this: My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss.”
She turned when he had touched her paw, she looked at him with wonder but answered him, “Good pilgrim, you do wrong your paw too much, Which mannerly devotion shows in this; For saints have paw that pilgrims' paw do touch, And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss.”
Kodi went on speaking to her, “Have not saints lips, and holy palmers too?”
Dusty answered his question, “Ay, pilgrim, lips that they must use in prayer.”
Kodi was incredibly happy to be talking with her, “O, then, dear saint, let lips do what paws do; They pray, grant thou, lest faith turn to despair.”
She moved closer to him, “Saints do not move, though grant for prayers' sake.”
Kodi paused, “Then move not, while my prayer's effect I take. Thus from my lips, by yours, my sin is purged.” He moved closer to her and kissed her.
Dusty paused but looked at him with a look, “Then have my lips the sin that they have took.”
He was slightly shocked, “Sin from thy lips? O trespass sweetly urged! Give me my sin again.” He went out and kissed Dusty again.
Dusty smiled, “You kiss by the book.”
Dipsy came up and interrupted them, “Madam, your mother craves a word with you.”
Kodi turned to Dipsy “What is her mother?”
Dipsy nodded her head, “Marry, bachelor, Her mother is the lady of the house, And a good lady, and a wise and virtuous I nursed her daughter, that you talk'd withal; I tell you, he that can lay hold of her shall have the chinks.” Kodi listened to her but he was looking at Dusty as she was.
Kirby went up and bit his scruff pulling him away, Kodi uttered to himself, “Is she a Capulet? O dear account! My life is my foe's debt.”
Kirby urged him to move faster, “Away, begone; the sport is at the best.”
Kodi started out with him running, “Ay, so I fear; the more is my unrest.” He turned away and ran down another way then Kirby.
Steele stood up and slightly yelled so everyone could hear, “Nay, gentlemen, prepare not to be gone; we have a trifling foolish banquet towards. Is it e'en so? Why, then, I thank you all I thank you, honest gentlemen; good night. More torches here! Come on then, let's to bed. Ah, sirrah, by my fay, it waxes late: I'll to my rest.”
Everyone now started to leave Dipsy and Dusty stood in corner of the room, Dusty wanted to ask who she was talking with name but didn’t want it to be so obvious, “Come hither, nurse. What is yond gentleman?” she asked pointing to a male.
Dipsy looked at the one she was pointing to, “The son and heir of old Tiberio.”
She turned and pointed to one leaving out the door, “What's he that now is going out of door?”
Dipsy went and looked at that one she paused, “Marry, that, I think, be young Petrucio.”
She rather quickly pointed to the next one, “What's he that follows there, that would not dance?”
Dipsy looked at the red and white furred one she was pointing to, “I know not.”
She slightly panicked, “Go ask his name: if he be married. My grave is like to be my wedding bed.”
Dipsy quickly went to Kodi and returned to her, “His name is Romeo, and a Montague; The only son of your great enemy.”
She felt despair claim her, she lowered her ears with a small cry, “My only love sprung from my only hate! Too early seen unknown, and known too late! Prodigious birth of love it is to me, that I must love a loathed enemy.”
Dipsy turned to her confused, “What's this? what's this?”
She sorrowfully answered, “A rhyme I learn'd even now
Of one I danced withal.”
She heard someone calling her name, but didn’t pay attention her mind was on her beloved Kodi.
Dipsy broke her thoughts, “Anon, anon! Come, let's away; the strangers all are gone.”
Arcturus notes, YES! YES, YES! I know not the most original. And the text I altered the words and made actions with the script of Romeo and Juliet.
Me personally I thought it was fun to write this one, no, no I’m not Kodi x Dusty fan. That what I had in this one I’m natural with the matter. I baised this off what I saw best fit the characters but I did think Niju might be a better Tybalt then Thunder for character designation, but I liked this V best out of them, I used all the character from the movies for the characters in this basic rendition of the classic hit tale.
By the way The part Mercutio is my FAVOITE character in this play Ralph. Plays as him.
But tis now this parts end to it, Thank you for reading I’d like to give a special thanks to Redfoxwolf! After this look at his gallery he has some great art!
Fare well my good peeps!^^ And if your reading this Redfoxwolf, “THANKIES!” *Glomp*

Wither dost thou dwadle? Art thou planning to write more of this marvelous tale or not? |
difficult time writing it, go ahead and pace yourself. And
if it comes to it, you could always consider a little poetic
license.
