wolves fell down, this time they were very angry, the one in charge lunged at John, but Dingo pinned him mid-air both canines fell on their feet, another wolf lunged at John pinning him down, the man kicked him away.
"Please let us leave, we'll never bother you again" Dingo snarled, but the leader was sure on what he was doing, some wolves bit John the man fell, hurt, and some wolves knawing on his clothes, the large brown one grinned at the rusty hybrid.
"You don't understand, you house pet, that human killed four of us already, he deserves death!" the wolf snarled, a white female with black jet feet came with the male.
"Braken, you know what happens if we kill a human, more will come!" she spoke
"Skyfire, don't talk, the spirits are angry, they want revenge" Braken shouted to her, the female snarled admiting thw wolves words.
A smaller wolf ran, he looked so much like Braken, he had a mean looking face like him.
"C'mon dad, show this mutt they are going to pay!" he snarled, Bracken grinned, why killing a human if we can hurt his loyal pet.
"Don't let the human escape hold him tight" he smiled
A lot of wolves prevented John from moving, part of John's body was on the water, it was freezing cold, and it was starting to afect his body.
Dingo snarled at those wolves, Bracken pressed his paw on Dingo's chest, for a experienced wolf that was a bad movement, as Dingo felt something inside him snap, as the hybrid furiously bit his chin, the large wolf yelped for some seconds, but then blood driping, he looked at Dingo, now it was personal.
The large wolf lunged at him, Dingo evaded quickly and shot at him with anger, a bad move before he could reach Braken, another wolf pinned him down, two on one was unfair, but this wolves had definitely no pride.
Dingo snarled at both wolves, one after the other they lunged at Dingo's body, the hybrid was suddenly pinned.
"You stupid house pet, man slave, I knew there was something in you, you have some wolf in there, like us, what a shame" Braken retorted, and spat at Dingo, the mucuous saliva landed on Dingo's face and crept to his muzzle, laughs were soon followed, this wolves had no honor. Braken told them to stop the laughs, grinning they waited to see what the Beta Braken had to say, he kept psycologically hurting Dingo.
"You hybrids are abominations, I can't think on a lame wolf that left his mark on a dog, and had such cursed pups, hated by dogs, hated by us wolves, you belong to nowhere, you...mutt" The wolf coldly scoffed,as some packmates spated at him, and even some kicked snow.
Dingo's pupils dilated, for the first time his blood was strongly pumping with anger and hate, feeling hopeless, knowing he would die by those murderous beasts, but he stood up.
Braken lunged at him, both animals fought ferociously, Dingo often ended falling, but would kick Braken to stand and keep fighting, soon some wolves joined the fun, they bit Dingo, at last the hybrid fell by fangs clawed on his body, the wolves noticed the temperature to fell greatly, it was going to be a very cold night.
"Beta Braken" a wolf spoke "Should we finish him off?"
Braken was licking the blood on his fangs, then coldly looked at his patrol "Killing this bastard would just make his suffering faster, dying in the freezing cold is a very painful death, this abomination and his master deserve to suffer" he snorted and flicked his tail, the wolves left getting lost in the woods, out of sight.
Dingo was definitely a bloody mess, he stood, barely, only fromt paws, he tried to reach John, the human was curled, his pants cold and wet from the river.
"I-I-I'm sorry master..." Dingo spoke in his canine language to her owner, the man smiled, and as the dog barely reached him, leaving a blood trail on him, the man hugged him tightly.
"G-Good dog" he said shivering "You protected me Dingo, I saw how b-bravely you fought, y-y-you take a lot after your father, I h-heard he did great things" he shivered.
Dingo pressed his fur against John to warm him, his master's body was growing colder, John kept talking to Dingo, everything, his life, his experiences, like if Dingo was another human to talk, Dingo didn't understand many things he said, but he paid attention to him anyway.
Dingo spoke what seemed in whimpers to the human "John...we'll manage to get out of this...someone will find us...Dawn is very smart, and so the others...hehe well Flake not much...but she is a puppy...she needs...to learn...and Navy...I like her a lot...you know...well be just fine John........John?"
Dingo's eyes widened, John's body was cold, and very limp, without shivering, without an inhale...or exhale.
"No...John...you can't be..." he whimpered, he still couldn't believe it, John was always very strong.
"JOHN NO, WAKE UP WAKE UP!" He bit John's shoulder, but there was no movement or reply, he kept biting, but it was useless, Dingo snarled to himself, and pressed himself against his deceased master, he was scared, he was hopeless, he was angered.
Hours, and passed Dingo didn't know how much time it was, but he was starting to feel weak from lack of blood, he softly growled, he was starting to feel a great amount of hate to those wolves.
"I hate them, I HATE THEM...They are nothing but souless beasts, and that beastly blood runs in my veins, part of them is inside me, I can't take that...how could my father...he has that blood too, and Michingan, Saba... and that Kodiak...all my kin...we are all cursed..."
Dingo was never like that, some other side in him was showing, he calmed down, his pupils dilated, aparently the cold started to affect him, phisically and mentally, he layed down trying to get warm, trying to not sleep, he whimpered then.
"John...I know you can hear me, I'm going to kill them all, to kill this beasts, they will regret this, I will kill them all, even pups..." he laughed.
Dingo started to feel sleepy already it was night now and the cold was worse than before, Dingo curled to stop losing warmth, his vision started to blur from sleepiness, he could only scent and hear, and those two sensed finally catch something, Dingo's ears perked, they were barks and movements, Dingo didn't had a chance to know who was comming, he collapsed just having the feeling he was picked up.
Dingo had dreams, unknown ones to him he remebered himself to seek a white wolf, even if that massive white beauty left a harmony aura, Dingo snarled and bit her, turning the white wolf into fog, a lot of things also happened while dreaming, but even humans can't remember much of their dreams.
Slowly Dingo opened his eyes, at first everything was a blur, he couldn't hear well, and only scent was his only source, he heard human speech, but his legs didn't respond, soon the blurry vision disapeared, several humans watched him, two unknown to him, there was David there too.
"The loss of blood was much, I thought he wasn't going to make it" a man said
"It's a strong animal Mr.David" the other said
The man's words echoed through his ears "Make it...to make it alive?"
David looked away "I would prefer John to be in his place" he said coldly
"John..." Dingo whimpered
Both man looked at eachother with pity, one finally said "Mr.David, John was already-"
"I know!" David angered "Just that...I would prefer he was alive...poor Benny"
"Benny!" Dingo barked trying to stand, but slipped away, and layed on the same place.
"The dog managed to survive, but his legs are wounded, he'll have to learn to walk again"
"Curses!" Dingo growled "Curses, why me!"
David hit Dingo softly with a paper roll "Calm yourself!" he said
The two men kept visiting Dingo, until all the pain was away, they helped Dingo stand, and help him move his legs, it was hard for him at the start, and often ended up frustrated, each time it was easier, until he could do it by himself, but still, running was a challenge.
Dingo seemed to act agresive with the sledmates, even with Navy, he once hurt Blaze for pinning him down, and once the playful Flake tried to grab his ears, she got a horrible beating for that, David bought two new dogs as "temporal replacements" for Dingo, one white and black husky called Max and a gray and white called Chorrahda. Benny still played with Dingo, but ever since his father's death the kid acted different, he was always lonely, or being a rebel with everyone, his mother took him away often to certain places in town.
Dingo avoided Balto all the time, since he knew Balto was a hybrid like him, he turned away when he saw him coming, and avoided family reunions, Balto was already more atached to Kodi than him.
One night Benny was with Dingo, he cried really bad, saying words like "goodbye" and "I will miss you", and even he told his loved pet he finally declared his love for Rosie, this one being a little girl rejected him.
The next morning Dingo searched for Benny, the kid was nowhere to be seen, he searched in the town, in stores, but he wasn't lucky, thinking Benny surely came to mush with David.
In the afternoon the team returned, Dingo hurried to find them, but there wasn't Benny there.Once the dogs were set to rest, Dingo looked for Navy, Navy was still shocked from Dingo's recent behaviour.
"Urf...hi..." Dingo said
"Hello..." she silently said
"Navy I know...I haven't been myself lately" said Dingo, trying to reach her good side but Navy knew Dingo and she coldly turned to face him.
"Get to the point, Dingo, what do you want" she scoffed
"I want to know...where's Benny?" Dingo asked, Navy's eyes widened, her voice with sorrow she turned back, she didn't wante to face Dingo "He's somewhere...far away...and never returning here"
Dingo smiled, she was surely joking "Navy...ok I was funny...now tell me"
Tears fell from Navy's eyes "I'm-"
"Where is he!" Dingo snarled
"Enough" Navy cried looking back at Dingo "He's gone,

I liked it, specially the last two pages, somehow, I like fics were characters cry and have themselves filled with pain. I'm weird.
I also loved what evil Dingo did to Blaze after he pinned him down, and I loved what he did to Dawn too. They deserve it. I just wish he could have delivered more suffering to the others. If I was to be there, I would have helped Dingo!
