green.
"I have given you the power to heal. Incase my son or the Keyblade master or anyone you know is injured very badly, all you have to do is place your paw on the person and they will instantly be healed," said Aniu. "I must go now. Good luck on your quest Keybalde master and friends, and to you my son. Take care of your family."
Aniu holwed and she vanished.
"Well, looks like we have something else to do besides stopping Xemnas," said Sora.
"I guess we should start as soon as we can," said Donald.
"Then, lets do this," said Balto.
Chapter 6: The Discovery
Boiler Room
“Where are we going to look first?” said Kairi.
“I think Balto should lead us since he knows these lands better then we do,” said Riku.
“Well, I can help you some but Aleu here knows more when we get more into the wild,” said Balto.
“Are you sure about that Papa?” said Aleu.
“Yes, I am sure. You have been living out there since you led that wolf pack.”
“Okay.”
With all that said, everyone walked out of the boiler room. They saw the whole town was outside waiting for them.
“You’re going to go stop them aren’t you?” said the mayor.
“We ain’t going to let them destroy this world,” said Sora.
Balto and Jenna walked up to Sora and his friends and they looked up at them and Balto barked.
“Yeah I know, but what can we do?” said Sora.
Rosy was looking at Sora with a confused look on her face.
Rosy decided to get Jenna out of the way.
Jenna started to bark like she wanted to be with the others.
“I think she wants to go with us,” said Sora.
“Sorry girl. You can’t go with them. I don’t want you to get hurt,” said Rosy.
“Rosy, if she wants to come with us, she can,” said Donald.
“But I don’t want her to get hurt.”
“Don’t worry, Rosy, she won’t get hurt. I promise,” said Sora.
“You promise?” said Rosy.
“Yes I promise. Besides, I don’t think Balto would let anything happen to her.”
Balto barked at Rosy.
“Balto, if she goes with you, please protect her,” Rosy said as she gave Balto a hug.
Balto just licked Rosy’s cheek.
Balto and the group walked back to the boiler room.
“Kodi, are you going to come with us?” said Balto.
“No Dad. I am going to stay here and try to help the town and protect Dusty.”
“Oh Kodi,” Dusty said and then she licked his muzzle.
“Well, let’s get going,” said Sora.
“Mom, Dad, be careful.” said Saba.
“Yeah, we don’t want to loose you,” said Dingo.
When everyone said their goodbyes, Sora and the group left to find the new weapon.
Sora decided to get some supplies before they left on their journey.
“I think this is enough,” said Sora. “How much do I owe you?” he said to the general store owner.
“Don’t worry. You don’t owe me anything,” said the general store owner.
When Sora had the items, they all started to the forest, but unknown to them a mysterious figure was following them.
“How are we going to know when we find this new weapon?” shouted Donald.
“Donald, I know you are angry because we don’t know where to look, but we just have to remain calm and continue to look,” said Sora.
“We can try to look by Bear Rock,” said Aleu.
“What is Bear Rock?” said Riku.
“Bear Rock is a rock formation that looks like a bear,” said Balto.
“Well, let’s head there first,” said Kairi.
It took them one hour to reach Bear Rock.
When they all reached the top, Balto suddenly got a vision. He then shook his head to clear it. “What was that?”
From behind a rock was the figure that was following them. “You’re mine half-breed.”
Suddenly, the figure jumped out and pinned Balto.
“Balto!” shouted Jenna.
Balto looked into his attackers eyes.
“STEELE.”
Sora and the rest of the gang had their weapons ready,
Balto managed to knock Steele back. “No! This is my fight.”
In the cavern, Xemnas was watching what was happening. “This may play to our advantage.”
As the battle between Steele and Balto continued, Steele had the upper paw on Balto and he was getting injured pretty badly.
Steele just looked at Balto and laughed, but then Steele’s expression turned to one of shock when he saw Balto glowing.
“What was that wolf-dog?” Steele shouted.
Steele again jumped on Balto, but this time Balto knocked Steele off of him with his hind legs and sent him off the edge of Bear Rock.
“It’s over,” said Balto.
“It is not over yet my canine friend.” said the voice of Xemnas as he appeared in front of Balto.
Balto just looked at him and growled through his teeth. “What do you mean it ain’t over?”
Xemnas pointed to the edge of Bear Rock.
Balto turned and was shocked to see what was happening.
At the edge of the rock formation, Steele was pulling himself back up, but he was not himself anymore.
“He surrendered his heart to the darkness and has been reborn as a Heartless.”
Balto and the gang were surprised to see that Steele was now a Heartless.
Steele formed a dark barrier around him and Balto. “This ends here now wolf-dog!”
Steele sent out a barrage of attacks at Balto and he could not dodge them in time.
“Balto! Shouted Jenna.
Balto fell to the ground on his back.
Steele raised his paw above Balto’s head. “Say good-bye wolf-dog.”
Balto closed his eyes waiting for the paw to come crashing down on him but it didn’t. When he opened his eyes, he was surprised to see that in his mouth was a sword.
Balto just turned his head to the right and Steele feel back.
Jenna looked at Sora.
“Sora what is that?”
“I think that is the weapon that Aniu told us about and it appears that Balto is the one to wield it.”
Steele was staring at Balto holding his new weapon.
“I don’t care what that is. I am still going to kill you!” shouted Steele as he charged at Balto.
Before Steele collided with Balto, Balto held the sword in the air and a barrier protected him from Steele’s attack.
When Steele collided with the barrier it knocked him out.
“Finish him!” shouted Donald.
Balto knew he had to do it, but deep down he didn’t. He plunged the blade through his opponent and the dark barrier vanished.
Balto dropped the blade and fell to the ground.
Jenna walked up to Balto.
“Balto are you alright?”
“Even though I never got along with him, I never wanted to kill him.”
“But he changed into a Heartless because of the magic Xemnas possessed.”
“Let’s go home Jenna,” Balto said as he went to retrieve his sword, which then disappeared.
“Where did it go?” said Balto.
“Don’t worry. It is just like us. You think about holding it and it will appear,” said Sora.
Balto closed his eyes and pictured himself holding the new sword he now called “the wolf blade.” When he opened his eyes, in his jaw was the blade.
“Balto you better keep your sword out just incase we have a few surprises.”
Back in Nome…
“How long are they going to be gone?” said Dusty.
“I don’t know,” said Kodi.
Suddenly they heard a scream outside. There were the wolf-like Heartless.
Balto and the group were about five miles from Nome.
“Let’s stop and rest,” said Sora.
Balto, Jenna and Aleu were resting, but Balto still had a firm grip on his new weapon.
Ten minutes later they continued toward home, but when they got to a hill that overlooked Nome, they were surprised at what they saw.
Chapter 7: The Surprise
Nome, Alaska
What Balto, Jenna and Aleu saw made their jaws drop.
“What is that thing?” said Aleu.
“It’s Hollow Bastion,” said Sora.
“Let’s go,” said Balto.
“Wait my son,” said Aniu’s voice in Balto’s mind.
Suddenly, Balto skidded to a halt.
“Why did you stop Balto?” said Jenna.
Balto remained quiet.
Balto was speaking to his mother in his mind.
“What’s wrong mother?”
“My son, the whole town has been taken captive by Xemnas.”
Balto growled with a rage he never felt before.
“I am going to get him for what his has done.”
“I can sense you found the weapon I told you about,” said Aniu.
“Why didn’t you tell me I was the one to own it?” said Balto.
“I did not want you to avoid your destiny,” said Aniu.
“What destiny?” said Balto.
“Your destiny is to keep Kingdom Wolves protected from darkness,” said Aniu.
Balto suddenly gasped.
“Papa, what’s wrong?” said Aleu.
“Your grandmother just told me that the whole town, dogs and people, have been taken prisoner by Xemnas.”
“My son, I forgot to tell you. You have the power to change Sora and his friends into wolves or dogs. It will be easier if they are like that,”

Not bad! Although it seemed a little rushed. In the sequel, try to put more discription into it. Despite that, nice job! I LOVE Kingdom Hearts and Balto! |
This is a very well-written story, although the spelling and
punctuation need an adjustment (you frequently spelled
"lose" with two "o's"). I'm looking forward to the sequel!
