Chapter 1: First meeting

The series is a short one about Balto and Jenna mainly, and a Wolf that shows up named Blackheart! What’s his purpose? Why has he arrived?

And why shall I Explain the plot here? Read on to find out!

This Story is told in Balto’s to Blackheart’s then Jenna’s POV

Balto

It was only a short time since that day, that day when my son proved who he was to me, and everyone. The rescue of the pilot not long ago had now let Nome slowly enter a time of steadiness and peace, and all seemed well for me now. Until, He showed back up, Steele! That good for nothing Husky trying to take my Jenna away! Ever since he and his team came back all they’ve caused is trouble! Kaltag, Star, And Nikki actually showed me some respect, but Steele never changed! He was constantly hitting on Jenna; Poor girl couldn’t breathe without Steele there. But you think that was even the beginning of the problems? Then you’re wrong, recently I’ve smelled a pack of wolves nearby, a few by how very little scent’s I detected, but I didn’t trust them! This is where it all begins, the very morning my whole life, turn’s into a madhouse! Jenna was coming down to meet me, the only place Steele wouldn’t follow, Only, I was still asleep.

I was sleeping that lovely spring morning; my whole Body was stretched out along the boat warmed by the rays of the sunlight, a soothing feeling. But then I heard a voice, and when I opened my eye’s there she was, Jenna and all her beauty following,

“Good morning Jen.” I said still very sleepy.

“Well Good morning Balto, You sleep well last night?” Jenna was saying in a bit of an uneasy tone, and I could sense it, slowly I rose up into a sitting position and sat back on my haunches, looking her in the eyes.

“Jen? What’s wrong? You sound upset.” Instantly she gave me a different look, one that seemed confused and scared.

“Balto, we need to talk, about-“

“Steele?” I interrupted quickly, “It’s him isn’t it?” Jenna just nodded at me and sighed,

“He’s been following me everywhere Balto, I can’t get him to stop and it’s scaring me, what if he does something bad to me? What if he hurt’s me?” All I heard was a shaky voice in Jenna, Steele was doing this to her, seemed to me he was hurting her already!

“Haven’t you tried telling him to back off yet?” I asked feeling a bit dumb when Jenna gave me a look,

“Don’t you think I’ve already tried that Balto?” Man did she jump down my throat! I felt like back when she was with the pups, well, when they we’re unborn. She was Cranky and always in a bad mood! Once again she sounded just like that, again.

“I’m Sorry Jen, I, I was just checking the, Basic’s” When she looked at me like that it was hard to speak! Let’s see how you would do, well I couldn’t blame her, after all she had this Crazed Husky after her who could take advantage of her anytime he saw fit, and he chased her around constantly hitting on her and stuff! Oh, where was Boris when you needed him?

“Well Balto, I don’t like that excuse for a dog following me around constantly! I don’t know what I’ll do! And what if he asks me to leave you for a real dog, then what?”

“Well Jen, knowing him he’s already said that.” Finally I got to see her wearing a look I’ve always wanted to see! A shocked and a stupid look, exactly what she was feeling.

“I know I’m old Jen, but I haven’t lost my mind, I know your having a hard time but, I don’t know what I can do. I’ll do anything I can, does that sound better? And you can stay here with me so he’ll leave you alone ok?” I then embraced her and felt my fur spike as it rubbed along hers; she gave me a soft nuzzle under my chin and spoke in a shaky voice, it felt so good to have her near me,

“I don’t know Balto, What about Rosie? And what happens when he finally decides to come here? I’m so worried Balto, and I’m scared.” I looked down at her and saw a few tear’s falling down her muzzle, my heart felt broken when I saw her like this, I hated seeing her cry, and this was all because of Steele!

“I’m scared to Jenna, I’m scared to.” At that moment I raised my nose and sniffed, that scent! The wolves I heard howling during the night, and scented all this time we’re nearing Nome! Only trouble was waiting, but I had my own troubles now, First I had to deal with Steele!

Blackheart

It was the longest day of my life today, all I did was walk around and hunt for my pack, it drove me nut’s! Them heartless jerks, and they named me Blackheart? Who’s the Black hearted one now? I thought to myself as I left my pack behind, I was moving on and I was going to make my own living, start my own pack and claim my own lands! I was tired of those fool’s and now was going to prove I was ready to lead! As I walked about, trotting in a graceful way hoping to attract a few ladies, I spotted two dogs alone in the distance. One seemed to be a brown, Dog I think, or some new breed. But when I looked at the other Dog, My heart was taken! She had the most beautiful eyes I ever seen! Her body was slender and curved perfectly, the red in her fur gleamed in the sunlight like rubies to me!

“She’s, Perfect.” The now love struck wolf said to himself, “I gotta have her!” At that moment what I saw before me was my future mate! The perfect Husky to start my pack, I didn’t care if she was a pain in the neck! I just wanted that gorgeous dog to be mine! And nobody else’s but mine, when I saw them get close together I wondered if she had a crush on him, and I grew a bit angry,

“She’s has a crush on him? Or he on her? I’ll give you a crush! I’ll crush your head against a rock you pathetic beast!” I said out loud, not know There was someone behind me, when I turned I saw a figure of a wolf in the shadow’s, but strangely he wasn’t a wolf!

“Who are you wolf?” I said snarling at it, baring my fangs. “Show yourself.” But to my surprise, he didn’t, but only spoke a few words,

“You lust that which cannot be yours.” The shadow said, that drove me mad! I leaped at it but it was too quick and dodged my fangs and claws flying at it,

“And you burn with hate and rage, which is why you cannot love, nor are loved.”

At that moment I was ticked off!

“And what gives you the right to say this about me? What makes you any better?” I yelled Snarling like I was rabid at him, He sounded wise, to wise. His voice sounded very young, but he spoke as if he we’re an adult. Could it be a spirit, at the moment I didn’t care! I jumped a bit when he spoke,

“Because it is I who speaks truth! It is you who walks a path only leading to death and destruction!” He said raising his voice,

“That’s it! The only thing going to be destroyed is you!” I snarled leaping again, but when he moved to the side, I spun quickly only to see him, vanish?

“WHERE ARE YOU WOLF!” I howled at the top of my lungs, next time I saw him, he was going to die! But for now, I had to focus on how to make that husky mine, I needed intell on who they we’re before I did anything, but when I saw a Black husky looking at the two one the boat, and I saw a look of hatred and rage in his eye’s, I knew this would work to my advantage! But all I did was lay there and watch, waiting to see what would happen and then make my move.

I felt so terrible right now; I had that good for nothing dog Steele after me again! And it was only getting worse as the second’s ticked on by. All I wanted to do was sit there With Balto and is close to him, He made me feel so happy within, at peace, and a feeling I was loved. I felt bad also because I was pushing every problem I had at him, would he get tired of me? Would Steele try to pull moves on me or even hurt Balto out of anger? I felt worse and that’s when I began crying, What if something bad happens to Balto? I knew all he cared about this moment was me, this second I new he was thinking on what to do, but when I heard him say I’m scared to, it only made me feel better.

“Balto, What would I do without you?” I said looking up finally after we’ve been snuggled together for awhile.

“I don’t know Jen, I don’t know. That question is beyond even my knowledge.” Balto said grinning; oh he was acting so stuck up! Acting like he knew everything! But then I realized, he did it so I would forget about Steele, and I did! I felt much better when he started in acting like everything was normal, smiling at me in all.

“This must be so hard for you, but keep strong ok? It’s all we can do right now.”

“And having a little faith would be useful.” I heard out of nowhere! It wasn’t Balto who said it, but when I turned my head, my mouth was hanging open in surprise and Shock as I saw this Wolf walking up the ramp. But not only any wolf! He was pure White! His eye’s had a crystal blue color and when I saw him, I thought to myself, He is the most incredible wolf I’ve ever seen! His made Balto look like he was a few year’s older to me, but I never felt once hurt by him, I still loved Balto and that was that! Sadly, Balto didn’t share in my enthusiasm about this wolf; he seemed jumpy and a bit scared, growling at it.

“Who are you and why are you here?” Balto said, now he had the shaky voice!

“My name is Frost-“And his name matched his looks perfectly to me! “I’ve only came to warn you, your both in danger, not only does that husky Steele wish to take Jenna from you, now there’s a new threat that will test just how strong You really love each other, but have faith
