started to bark, and scream, “MOM! MOM! DAD!! CINDER!!!” He screamed and barked rapidly with terror, trying to wake them up to help him. “MOM! CINDER! DAD!” He continually tried to pull away. “HELP! PLEASE HELP! DAD!”
Jenna awoke with a jolt to run outside, which she did, but Rosé’s dad held her. Cinder was right behind Jenna and darted past her to Cronos and the man.
Cinder growled and barked at the man having Cronos behind him. “Get away!” He screamed at the man, snapping the air between him and the man. Rosé’s mother pulled Cinder away with a leash she put on him. Cinder tried his best to break free but in vain.
The man suddenly jumped on top of Cronos pinning him to the ground. He whimpered in pain and no longer tried to get away. The man grabbed his legs and lifted him up, he could only whimper as he did so. “Sorry for the trouble.” The man said to Rosé’s father, “I’m just doing my job.” He walked though Rosé’s house a rather big sled with a metal cage he put Cronos in it and locked it with a lock. Cronos used his paw to try open the door into the cage he tried again, and again with more hast. He whimpered thinking it was getting worse, he started barking again.
Jenna was able to watch the horrific sight with Cinder from inside, She knew that they where giving him away, Cinder didn’t as he barked at the man.
“Stop it! STOP IT! That’s my brother! He lives here not with you LET HIM GO!!!” He screamed over and over.
Jenna choked on tears, she didn’t think they’d give him away after having him for so long she had him for so long, it was her Cronos, or as Rosé’ called him ‘Balto jr.’ it was her pup hers, they can’t take him, but they are. She whimpered as he saw the man with the sled go off, Cronos looked at them in silence, confused and scared as he faded away from their sight.
Cronos whimpered in cold bars that lay around and under him, he was so confused why all the sudden were was he going? Why didn’t mom help him, why did they hold her back she was trying to save me, did they want me to go? “It is that…” He started to cry, “It’s for the best…I’m too weak anyway dad doesn’t want me mom didn’t Cinder I’m only a burden, to everyone I am a burden!”
“Quiet wolf!” The man said annoyed by all the whimpering. “Gosh you weak but I’ll change that soon enough.” The man smiled, he shouted at his large sled team of dogs.
Cronos backed away as far as he could against the walls of the cage he jerk forward touching the cold bars, he whimpered. He moved to the middle were he was where it was warmer bars from standing there before. “Dad…I didn’t say goodbye or saw you, I just wanted look at you one last time…” Cronos cried in tears.
Cronos heard some of the dogs laughing at him, “Some wolf misses mommy and daddy! Did they get shot?!” He put his paws over his eyes as he cried, he just couldn’t take it, he needed his parents he needed Cinder, but he didn’t have them this time, he had no one to go to. Why does everyone who is wolf treated like this I’m only part wolf…why?! Will anyone help me? Why doesn’t anyone? He cried as the time went on remembering the times he had with his family, it was just to fast for he just left without a second thought.
he fell asleep with out being tired, he cried himself too sleep. He awoke when the cage was slide off to the snow covered ground.
The man yanked the chain that was still on Cronos, and pulled him to a shake and pushed him in and tied the chain on a metal rod. And threw a rock at him, which hit his head. Cronos yelped and back away till the chain stopped him. He whimpered as he tried to break free.
“Keep trying wolf, when I’m done with you, you will be my prize wolf getting me lots of cash. Man that was easy getting you just act pro and there you have it, wolf owners what losers.” The man smiled and left.
Cronos looked around in the dark room, he took a few sniffs around, and he was the only one in the room. It scared him; he didn’t like being alone in a dark place he was still afraid of the dark, or rather his thoughts of what was in the dark.
“Help?” He asked the air, he looked around he barely could see anything around him, he didn’t like it at, he made a slight growl.
“I want out!” He yanked over and over trying to get out of the chain. He bit the chain he came to his senses what would be the point of escaping? I couldn’t go anywhere I’m in a new place… “I’m lost and want out and it’s cold…I can’t have mom, Cinder…or dad to help me, I’m really alone now…”
He looked though the glass window, he felt trapped he didn’t like it at all. Cronos growled again. He was next to the door. Can he hear me? The man thought to him self. He heard another yank with chain moving and going to a stop. I’ve never seen someone so wanting out so quickly. He heard repeated yelps as the chain choked Cronos as he continually tried to get free. The man walked away.
After several hours he found it useless his neck burned with a passion and felt he had been choked for a while, he took a few breaths, “I need to escape.”
He thought about himself, “I’m wolf right? So what would a wolf do?” He stayed in his mind in thinking for about for five minutes. He opened his eyes and started to bite the chain as hard as he could, it didn’t seem to have an affect on it.
Cronos tried again, biting the chin to his side harder, “Come on!” He yelled in frustration. He came closer to the post he was tied to, so he could get a better place to bite the chain to his fullest. Cronos slight raised his head as he bit down as hard as he could on the chain. He stopped and backed away it hurt his teeth.
He whimpered, “I can’t, but…Cinder, mom and dad…there not here, I have get out on my own they won’t help me this time.” He had a tear fall as his thoughts told him seeing them was hopeless.
He mustered all the strength he had left; he raised his head high as he used all his strength to bite the chain. “Krank!” the chain broke, he growled in pain, he was angry that he was taken away he hated it, it always was him, why no one else. He slowly opened his mouth letting the chain fall to the floor making a noise as it hit the ground.
He sighed, “Now what?” He asked panting, he looked around he couldn’t see anything just some light from the window in the room, which looked old. There was no other light in the room. He looked down hopelessly, “How can I get out?”
Cronos looked at the window, he growled, thinking only being wolf as some wild beast, he swore at himself. He took a few steps over things in the shed. Cronos roared as he jumped thought he used all the strength he could get himself to do towards the window.
He easily broke thought the old weak window, but it was still glass. He landed in something rather cold and soft, like powder. He being busy with the jump tripped when he hit the ground hurting his paw, and landed on his right shoulder he almost flipped over himself, but only half way.
He groaned in pain a piece of glass was in his paw, it really hurt to move it, He whimpered his wished his mother was here somehow make it all better, but she wasn’t. He got his other paw just to touch it.
It was a stabbing burning stab when he touched it he yelped and moved his paw away in the pain; he started crying it really hurt him.
He looked fearfully at the piece of glass in a terrified look of fear. Cronos started to shake; Cronos suddenly genteelly pulled the piece of glass out quickly and threw it to the side, very quickly. “ARHLUGA!” Cronos cried in pain. Cronos stayed still shaking in pain, though it was out it almost hurt more now then with the piece of glass in his paw. He licked his wound in tears wishing someone would help him.
He got up and took agonizing steps away from the shed, he needed to get away from it and stay hidden and find out where he was.

Balto rested his head against his boat, with frustration and tears. Boris scratched his head, trying to think of something to say to him. How to say vhat? Your son is gone? Boris thought hard trying to think of something easier to say, to him.
“He’s gone…he’s gone…” Balto said with tears, Boris took a glance at him, still unable to think of anything. “I should have just stayed, why didn’t I stay? It’s my fault…”
“Balto…it’s not your fault it was just how it turned out, I bet Cronos has good owners.” Boris said trying to comfort him.
“Yeah?” Balto joked rudely “In a metal cage with a chain? Dragged out of the yard then house on a sled pushed in? They might have already killed him.” He said rudely.
“That’s not true and you don’t know.” Boris said calmly.
“Really, since when did you become the master of how people treat wolves or wolf-looking dogs?” He said pushing Boris down to the ground. “I’m sorry.” He said moving his head constantly like he was nervous; “I didn’t know a Russian goose know more about wolf-dogs then a wolf-dog himself.” Boris frowned; he didn’t like Balto when he did this. “Sorry I’m too violent and should be shot like a wolf for being part wolf.”
Boris got to his feet, “Your acting like being part wolf is a burden.” He said calmly.
“Well at times just, maybe it can.” Balto said rudely, “Ever think of that?!” He shouted at the end.
Boris shook his head, “Yes I have.” He said angrily at him, “I will help you get out of this mistreatment.”
He shook his head, “Why can’t you just accept I’m a social failure, I don’t like going to town much, in fact I don’t, well when there’s a race it’s ok, but.” He shook his head, “I’m going for a walk.”
Boris staggered,
