Chapter 1 Don't Stay

It was now Spring. Aleu was crowded around her pack. She didn't know when to take them on their daily hunt. Everyone was yelling at her. She growled. "SILENCE!" Aleu yelled. Everyone did what they where told. She couldn't hear herself think. She sighed in relief. "Thank you. We'll go once I see if everyone's here." Aleu said. She counted in her head all the wolves she saw. "Alright. We're all here. Come on!" Aleu said jerking forward.

By the time they got back everyone was bragging about the meat they caught. Aleu couldn't take it anymore. "SHUT UP!" She yelled. She just burst. Sola a female smirked and walked up onto the cliff next to Aleu. "Can you beleive what you're hearing from the leader of your pack?" Sola asked. Aleu blushed. "I-" "In other words she has insulted us. She can't handle it. You can see her emotions mix inside her heart." Sola continued. Everyone else began whispering. "You're right," Aleu said. "I do have mixed emotions. But, we are all in a desperate situation. Our freedom is at stake. I do feel guilty for my feelings. I am depressed. I am trying to keep you free." Sola got up in Aleu's face. "If you know you can't do this than what are you doing here?" She asked. Aleu sat for a moment. "Everyone back to your caves. If you aren't in them there will be punishment!" She said.

Chapter 2 Lying From You

"Oh my gosh. Sola's right. If I can't do it what am I doing here? I'm living a lie." She said to herself. Mixed emotions where taking over her mind. Not now; when her pack needed her most. She knew who she wanted.... her parents. She hadn't seen them in a year. The night hunt would be there in an hour and a half. The night hunt was only her; solo. She loved the night hunt. She could think clearly. All she would think about was her lies. Lies, lies, lies and more lies.

Chapter 3 Breaking the Habit

Aleu saw a doe and ran after it. She was to fast, the doe had got away from her. For once on the Solo hunt Aleu couldn't think straight.

Aleu learned her lesson. She wouldn't lie like this anymore. The day had come. She would accept that she couldn't control her job. Guilt was no more for her. She would let Sola be the new leader. She didn't care what happened to her with this all; she was through.

Chapter 4 Easier To Run

Aleu woke the next morning and went up to her special cliff. "I have bad news. Or it might be good to some of you. I am not your leader anymore. Sola must be the one to lead you." She said softly. Sola stepped forward. "Thank you for this honor Aleu. You're running away. That's better than not accepting what your heart says." Sola said winking at Aleu.

Chapter 5 Somewhere I Belong

Aleu was off to find Nava. Her true place was with him. It was where she really belonged. She knew it this time. She would start a new pack with him. He could tell her what was easy; and what was right.
