A wolf of white with golden eyes runs through the forest below.
Her ancestors angrily watching her with fire in their eyes.
The words in her head speak with dread because of the sin she has conceived,
while her kin and betrothed scream...
"Don't turn your back on me! Daughter, don't turn around and leave... love, don't you turn your back on me!"
Her love, a dog of golden fur waits beside his house. His warm brown eyes shining in the Aroura dancing above. His love for her, won't concur because he will love no other, while his kin and friends scream...
"Don't turn your back on me! Brother, don't turn around and leave... Friend, don't you turn your back on me!

Aniu, the white wolf has reached her destination. The home of her lover, her friend, her mate. He embraces her and asks her where's she's been so she tells him of what will happen if he does not flee. He reads her eyes... they are screaming...
"Don't turn your back on me! Lover, don't turn around and leave... Mate, don't you turn your back on me!"
The lovers flee to the mountains high while her pack searches below. Aniu's sister of silver thinks of how she betrayed them long ago. She looks into the eyes of her brother-in-law and sees them full of hate she knows what she must do, but his eyes are screaming...
"Don't turn your back on me! Sister, or a dead wolf you will be... Akiah, don't you turn your back on me!"
Akiah soon picks up their scent. She can see them high up above staring at her. Her sister's heart is bleeding... bleeding with pleading for she is begging inside..
"Don't turn your back on me! Sister, don't warn them of where we be... Akiah, don't you turn your back on me!"
The silver wolf turns to call the pack But her voice is choked inside. How could she... sisters they may be, send them to their death? So she turns around and leaves while Aniu's betrothed is screaming...
"How COULD you turn your back on me? Akiah, I TRUSTED you see? Traitor, now you will die by my paw!"
He snarls to leap but he's intercepted. A dog of gold has come to her aid. He longs to help her for she has spared their lives, he quickly dies... but not before the betrothed is sent to his demise. His lover and her sister quickly run to his side screaming...
"PLEASE don't die on me! Dog, don't leave me here to grieve... Sunny, don't you die on me!
Alas, they are too late... Sunny died before they reached his side.
Aniu and her sister scream to the heavens in grief.
They hang their heads and know they must flee...
Many months passed and one hot morning, a silver wolf carries a small pup in her mouth. she puts him on a abandoned trawler and tells him to stay, while gunshots ring out in the forest.
The pup starts to cry...
"Don't turn your backs on me! Mother, don't turn around and leave... Aunt, don't leave me here... please..."
