The Great White Wolf
I had sleepovers with my friend Matt all the time when I was a little kid. That was before I moved away. I will never forget one particular night when we saw the entity of a wolf.
There lately had been a problem with wolves. There was one pack that was going around killing livestock as well as people’s pets. A few nights before the sleepover, three wolves were shot and killed a few blocks away.
I was at my friend’s house. We were playing videogames down in the basement, which also served as a playroom for them. After awhile, we heard very loud and annoying scratching sounds coming from the basement window, which showed up into the front yard above.
We looked over at the window, and to our great shock, saw two white arms and paws scratching at the window, gigantic claws that could have served as eagle talons. We knew instantly that it was one of the troublesome wolves, but when we looked closer, we saw that it looked more like a mist, and that it would materialize perfectly then a few moments later, dematerialize and look more like a wolf shaped mist instead of a real wolf.
Matt and I booked out of the room like the Morningstar himself was at our heels. We ran into the living room, which was directly above the basement, and had a window that showed the front yard perfectly. When we looked through the window, the wolf was gone. We decided to play videogames again, but this time we would play them in Matt’s room.
His room had a window of the same design like that of the playroom. It looked up and out onto the backyard. As we played, we heard the same scratching sounds coming from the window. We looked over, and there were those paws. As I was about to book out of the room, Matt grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the window so we could get a better look at the wolf.
We looked up through the window and screamed. There was the biggest wolf I’d ever seen. Streaky white colored, he looked at us with glowing (it seemed so) yellow eyes. It then disappeared.
That’s my story, and that was seven years ago. As for the wolf, after learning that a white wolf was one of the three shot, we never saw it again – nor did we want to.
