There once was a wolf that ran away from home. The wolf was a light gray teenaged wolf.  The wolf’s name is Doglover. She went so far from her old den and it was getting really dark. She went to bed under a tree. When she woke up she smelled another wolf close by her! The wolf that Doglover smelled came closer and closer to Doglover. When Doglover could see the other wolf she ran to that other wolf because it was her sister Carebearwolfie! Carebearwolfie looked just like Doglover only a little smaller.

Carebearwolfie asked Doglover why she was running away. Doglover said, “Because there were a lot of other wolves that were very mean to me. They called me very mean names.” Carebearwolfie said to Doglover, “You should have told Mom or Dad about the other wolves calling you names not just keeping it to yourself.” Doglover said, “Yeah. I know that now.” Carebearwolfie said, “Then come back home and we will tell Mom and Dad. Then they will talk to the other wolves and they won’t be mean to you any more!”

Doglover said, “I think it is going to start raining hard soon. I think we should try to find a cave to stay in until the rain stops.” Carebearwolfie said, “I think it is going to rain soon also! Let’s go find a place to stay until the rain stops. But we can’t go just yet.” Doglover asked, “Why can’t we go just yet?” Carebearwolfie said, “Because I didn’t want to come after you all alone so I asked Otis, Baby, and Puk to come with me. They all said that they would.” Doglover said, “Okay. Where are they at right now then?” Carebearwolfie called, “Otis, Baby, Puk come on out!”

Otis was the first to come out. Otis is an adult male that has a grayish blackish fur.

 The next wolf to come out was Baby. Baby is an adult female and sister of Otis. Baby is a white wolf with black paws.

The last wolf that came out was Puk. Puk is a boy around Doglover’s age. Puk has a light yellowish color on his top colorings and a light tanish color on the bottom. Puk also has blue eyes. Puk and Doglover are very close friends so Puk said that he was coming to find his very close friend. Doglover hugged all of her friends and Carebearwolfie.

And so the two sisters, Puk, Baby, and Otis left to find a cave. Doglover and Puk stayed in the back of the group talking to each other. Carebearwolfie looked back to make sure that the whole group was still together and she saw Doglover and Puk farther back walking a little slower than the rest of them.

Doglover noticed Carebearwolfie looking back at her and Puk and said to Carebearwolfie, “Why are you watching us?” Carebearwolfie said, “Because I was looking to see if we were all together still and I saw you and Puk farther back than the rest of us! Why are you and Puk walking slower than us?” Puk said, “Because we are having a conversation! We can have a conversation, can’t we?” Carebearwolfie didn’t answer Puk’s question and looked forward.

Carebearwolfie found a den and decided that it was the perfect place to stay. Carebearwolfie told everyone else that this is where they were going to stay. Everyone was about to walk into the den. Doglover smelled the air and whispered, “I don’t think we are welcome here. I can smell other wolves in the air and I am sure that they are in the den and don’t want us here! Smell the air Puk.” Puk smelled the air and said, “Hey everyone smell the air. Both me and Doglover smell other wolves and think they are in the den and do not want us here.” Everyone smells the air and says that they smell the other wolves and think the same things also!

Doglover said that she has an idea. She walked right up to the entrance of the den and said, “Hello? Is anyone in here?” Three wolves walked to the entrance of the den. Doglover said, “My name is Doglover.” Puk walked up next and said, “My name is Puk.” Then Otis, Baby, and Carebearwolfie introduced themselves. The first wolf said, “Hi everyone! My name is Nik.” Nik has a really dark brown almost black top color and a darkish grey under and brownish red eyes. The next wolf said, “I am Angela.” Angela is all white and has a black spot on each of her shoulder blades. Wings come out of these black spots. Angela also has green eyes. Angela said, “This is mine and Nik’s pup Tripp.” Tripp is very shy and unsure of things. Tripp has black fur and white crystal blue eyes.

Everyone said hi to each other. Tripp hid behind his mom the whole time. Tripp’s mom told him that it was ok to come out from behind her. Slowly Tripp came out. Tripp then said hi to everyone. Everyone said hi to Tripp also. Doglover’s stomach growled and then Puk laughed. Tripp smiled because he thought it was funny.

Puk, Nik, Angela, and Tripp all are Respect the wind's charatcers!!
