Chapter 1

The "lone" pack where all in their caves. The leaders "Better" and "Saltash" got the biggest den. It was 3 to 6 in a cave each, almost like college dorms. In one den lay "Mystery Aleu", "Arcturus", "JediChiboa", "Kim" and "Hybrid Misfit". In another was "Cole", "Kodi's Kid", and "Jack".

Better woke up at the crack of dawn, walking up to a small rock, he howled loudly. That was the wake up call.Everyone was so tired. Hybrid shrugged. "Oh come on! I need sleep!" He complained. Cole's den was outside already. None of the other den where up. A groan escaped Aleu's mouth. "Grr! TWO MINUTES! I NEED FREAKIN' SLEEP!" She yelled.  Kim stretched yawning and walked outside slowly. Chiboa grabbed the scruff of Arc's neck. "GET UP ARCY!" She said. Aleu got up and put on her mask to cover the scar over her right eye from a nasty Jedi fight.

After 15 minutes of arguments the pack was outside. "What is it?" Asked KK (Kodi's Kid). Salty frowned. "We are having less and less food here. We must find more by hunting for a long period of time." He said calmly. Cole nodded. "Okay. So when will we leave?" He asked. Better nodded. "Tomorrow morning at 4:30." Everyone groaned. "Oh my God!" "No freakin' way!" "No! I'll like die!" "This sucks!" Salty growled. "Quite! In the den by the time the moon's out. You'll be miserable I know. That is why you must get wrest and sleep."

MA (Mystery Aleu) had a drink of water. Jack stood behind her. "Jack?" MA said turning around staring. "Tired much?" Jack asked with a sly flirty smile. MA rolled her eyes. "Oh, please. I'm not your type. And... I have a mate. So back off!" She said. Jack backed away. "Wow! Take a chill pill!" He said. She walked away and into the cave.

There sat Hybrid listening to Linkin Park. MA plopped down on her bean bag chair. "Just what I needed; some good old Linkin Park to settle the brain." She said . Hybrid smiled. "Same here. It always works." He said. You need to know what Hybrid Misfit and Mystery Aleu have in common most; they are hardcore Linkin Park fans. After 3 hours in the den they fell to sleep. Everyone else was having fun playing games outside; not Hybrid and MA they slept for hours and than after dinner they went back to sleep.

Everyone cam in and stared at them. Some drool escaped Hybrid's mouth. Jack smirked at him. "Now that's what I call misfits." He whispered. Kim growled. "Shh. Hey, Jackie don't call my best friend that. And Hybrid's cool." She said. MA was snuggling her tickle me Elmo and her Gir from Invader ZIM. Her blanket was covering half her body. Hybrid had a big blue blanket covering him. Everyone lay down in their dens and where asleep in the wink of an eye. But, Salty and Better stayed up for 25 minutes. The search for food was terrible. No sighn of real food! They only had rabbits and heirs. Salty's heart began to sink. "We must get more food." Better tuked his tail. "I know. We'll be fine. We just gotta be careful and focus.We gotta keep everyone's focus." He said. Salty growled. "THEY CAN FOCUS! THEY'RE A GREAT PACK!" With that they went into their cave and had a goodnight's sleep.

Chapter 2

Of course everyone got up bright and early; okay not all of them where bright. Actually, everyone was tired. After the long (early) morning hunt they prepared to leave. The time had come...

The lone pack ran and ran. They where finally half way there. They needed food and water. They hadn't seen any in 2 in a half miles. MA ran up to a hill. "Look!" She yelled. They had found water and there was indeed game. Better smiled. "I guess this is the place. We're here. This is our land. I smell no sent of another pack." They all ran down the hill fast. It was a thrill for them all.

That night they decided to explore. MA stood next to Kim and Hybrid. She smelt something strange... "Do you smell that?" She asked in curiosity. Their noses pointed up to the sky. Kim nodded. "Yeah. Cole come here." Cole ran up to them along with Arcturus. "What?" Kim looked up again. "You smell that?" She asked. Cole and Arc nodded. "Hey yeah. Come on let's go!" Said Arcturus.

Chapter 3

The gang of friends walked and walked. By, now it was getting cold. They heard weeping of some sort. A small wolf pup was sitting all alone crying. MA leaned over nuzzling her and licking her ear. Cole shrugged. "I guess she's alone." Everyone nodded. "What's wrong?" MA asked her in concern. "I have no parents. I'm all alone." The pup said. Better and Salty had just come at that time along with everyone else. "We heard." Said Salty. Better's ears perked up. "Let's keep her!" He said. They all nodded. "Hey, yeah. But what should we call her?" Asked Kim. Cole shrugged. "How 'bout Lizzie?" He said.

So, with that everyone agreed. They would keep Lizzie. They nursed her back to health. The lone pack all took turns taking care of Lizzie while the others would go out to hunt.

It was Hybrid's turn to stay with Lizzie while the hunt went on today. Lizzie jumped on top of his head giggling. "He he wee Mommy!" The young tan pup said. "Look, Liz I um... I'm not your Mommy." Hybrid complained. Lizzie giggled. "Oh, I'm sorry Hybrid. I dunno what I was thinking."

Chapter 4

Many, many weeks had past. Lizzie was almost 6 months old. Everytime another pack came they would tell Lizzie to hide inside a cave. She wasn't enjoying doing it; but she still did what she was told.

One morning, Lizzie was out in the valley chasing a butterfly. She heard someone coming. "KK? Arcy? Cole? MA? Better? Hybrid? Kim? Jack? Anybody?" Nobody answered. A pack of wolves came. Lizzie gasped and ran back home.

Lizzie crowded behind KK and Jack whimpering.

"This pup smells nothing like any of you." The wolf in the front says. "She's my sister's!..... I mean she's my sister's daughter? I'm staying with her for a bit." MA fibbed. The leader stepped forward and sniffed Lizzie. "I'm sorry. I missed judged her. Very well carry on." They all sighed with relief. Lizzie ran off and up to her favorite cliff.

She just sat alone. How can I not seem like them? Their wolf and I'm wolf too. Lizzie was puzzled. Right than MA, Arc, Cole and Hybrid had come. "Alright whats wrong young lady?" MA asked. Lizzie shrugged. "I don't know. But, why did that pack think I didn't smell like you? I mean I'm wolf too. Aren't I?" MA smirked. "Well, of course you're wolf. But, we don't have the same family blood lines. We aren't your parents." Lizzie tucked her tail and her ears began drooping. "Thats not fair. Why can't anyone know about me?" Cole sat down next to her. "Liz you aren't any of our pups. We aren't 'lowed to take pups in that aren't ours. But, you where desperate." He said. Lizzie growled and ran away.

Chapter 5

MA and Kim where walking around together having one of their legendary best friend talks. "Hey so what's going on with you and Jack?" Kim asked. MA shook her head. "Nothing. Its not like I like him. Of course I don't like him. We're just friends ya know? Like what if I asked you 'what was going on with you and Cole'?" Kim smiled. "I'm sorry. But, I don't think you like him but he likes you!" MA gasped. "He does NOT like me." She said growling. Kim rolled her eyes. "How do you know?" MA hit her shoulder playfully. "I just do! Jedi senses 'member?! We're just friends. Please don't take me through all this Kimmy." She complained. Kim hit her shoulder in return. "Alright, I won't. Just to be safe try to find a way you'll know he doesn't like you." Kim said. MA nodded. "Okay, okay I'll do it."

Later, that afternoon MA stood alone on a cliff. Jack walked up to her. "I miss him so much." She whispered. Jack looked puzzled. "Wha'?" He asked. MA looked down. "I just thought I'd be married by now. I'm so ready to be married. We know its not possible for wolves and dogs to have marriages but we found a way to have something like one." At that time MA lay down. Jack lay next to her and got close. "You know Mystery? I am in fact single and could attempt a mar-ri-age right her right now." He said. MA got up. "No thank you." She said flatly. "You and I are very alike you and I... I and you... us." MA rolled her eyes at his statment. "Oh aside from a moral center, desincey and not to mention personal hygeine." She said. Jack smelt his armpit. We still have a lot alike. He thought. We have NOTHING in common! MA thought shaking her head.

Chapter 6

The pack from two days before came back. The leader growled. "That pup wasn't yours. She didn't smell like ANY OF YOU AT ALL!" He yelled. Salty and Better stepped up. "Ya wanna know the truth?" The whole pack gasped. "The pup isn't any of ours she was all alone in the woods and had no parents and no where to go." Salty said. The leader growled. "YOU LIARS! YOU NEED TO FIND SOME OTHER HOME FOR THIS STUPID PUP! My name is Lisander and you will respect me!" MA, Cole, Arc and Hybrid stepped forward. "She's an orphan!" "We couldn't just leave her in the cold!" "You never leave a fellow wolf behind!" "You're the pathetic one!" "YOU FREAKIN' SUCK!" They all yelled at once. Lisander growled loudly and walked away.

Everyone was worried for Liz. Pacing and shaking. "Wha-wha-what are we going to do?" KK studdered. Better was sad looking. "I don't know okay?! None of us do. We shall get in touch with Aniu and asked for her to give us the rights to keep 'er I guess. We have those rights. If we do she'll send a message in Lisander's mind. Than he shall back down." They all clapped. "ALRIGHT!" They cheered.

Hybrid sat
