If the Earth doth lose its light,

A Wolf’s Spirit

If the Earth doth lose its light,

Shall darkness fallest upon like night.

The sleepy dreamer’s paradise,

Turned unto hell, from what was nice.

And thus in shadow fall,

The dreams of children in us all.

Tormenting through the darkest hour,

The tough survive, not those who cower.

Valor and courage go only so far.

True and strong as these things are,

There’s got to be something more,

Something of which makes your power soar.

The shadow’s night, together whole,

Is no equal to the glow of spirit and soul.

Draw together that which shines,

And around dark, the light shall bind.

Constricting thus the darkness,

With that blinding brightness.

The battle thus be ended,

And the wounds inflicted shall be mended.

Peace restored, all is well,

The wolf’s spirit hath overcome the fires of hell.
