The next day they were supposed to deliver the mail, Kodi’s wound from Jet was finally healed unfortunately he could not say the same for his mom who was still at the vet’s he had rarely seen Jet who had in Kodi’s mind made the right chose by staying away from him and any one else he cared about. They got in there positions and awaited the OK from the musher, the musher gave the ok and they were off they got there delivered the mail and then took off a again on the way back they came across what looked like a severely injured dog Mr. Simpson took the dog and put it on the sled and got the team moving again they reached the town some what late but not to late Mr. Simpson delivered the mail let the dogs loose and took the injured dog to the vet to what he could do the dog had no collar so the town thought she was a stray her gender was found out when the vet had a look at her, that night the dogs of Nome had a meeting about what to do with this new wolf, Voice, throw her out she will just bring bad luck to this town, here, here cried a few voices, I think we should give her a chance cried Dingo, Voice, why so we can wake up one day and find half the town dead because of that wolf no way this town is better off with out wolves, I say we will give her a chance just because your mom was murdered by a wolf dose not mean all wolves are bad, so dose any one else have another objection, on one spoke then I guess we will give this new comer a chance. Over the next few weeks no one saw the new wolf she had to stay at the vets because her wounds were so bad, Kodi and Dusty were mates now though Dusty was not pregnant she and Kodi said that it was fate, Dingo felt lonely these days often found on his owners porch sleeping or looking glum Jenna a mouth after she had been attacked was finally all better, Jet was still in town but right now was causing on trouble. After about three weeks the wolf was allowed out that night about eight dogs approached her the one in front stopped and said you are to come with us now the wolf replied I don’t won’t to in a sweet voice that voice sent a shiver down Dingo’s back who was in the group you will come with us or we will take you by force and I don’t think you yet have the strength to fight us all, the female wolf let out a sigh and said, all right I’ll come. They arrived at the boiler room a few minutes later and went inside every single dog in Nome was in there, good evening miss my name is Drake and I’m the law in Nome and we had a meeting early about you and we decide to le you stay in Nome however we will not tolerate any wolf business understand, I understand replied the wolf, good said Drake and I’m sorry if your escort treated you badly but we had to know that we mean business and we as in the whole town would like to know your name if you don’t mind, my name is Drew, she said her voice sent another shiver down Dingo’s spine, with that taken care of said Drake this meeting is over everyone is free to go, and with that the boiler room emptied, Hi my name is Dingo, said Dingo do you mind if I walk with you for a bit, no said Drew after that night Drew and Dingo spent a lot of time together and alone, one day Lisa(Saba owner) was at a table talking with some friends when Saba came padding up her tail wagging hopefully. No Saba go away I have no time to play with you, Saba hung her head low and walk away just as Saba turned she saw her mom and Rosie playing together at this sight a dark thought entered Saba if I can’t have Lisa then why should my mom get Rosie she said to herself, that night she had it all worked out she would creep into Rosie’s room and kill her, so that night she found to her delight that her mom was sleeping just outside Rosie’s room Saba silently crept in to the room she got in a position where she could go for her throat directly and she did the moment she did Rosie opened her eyes and then her mouth and began to scream Jenna heard this and began to scratch at the door all to soon Rosie’s parents came running down the hall and when they burst into the room they found Rosie in tears huddled against the wall her bed was at her throat bleeding very badly they rushed her to the town hospital as they left the house Jenna noticed a figure limping away from the crime scene.
