Change part 2

The day after Balto and Jenna split up Balto was casualy taking a stroll in the Nome market place , which was in the centre of the small town, with his good freind Boris the goose. Just then Balto cought sight of his son Kodi , who was being unharnessed off of the mail sled so that he could take a break and have a well earned rest to gather up the rest of his energy in order to be fit and ready for the next mail round. And so Balto briskley trotted up to him to tell Kodi about what happened last night after he and all the others had left. And when Kodi was truley shocked and heart brocken since his mother and father ,who were once inceprebal, were now split up to go their different ways. But Kodi tried to put on a brave face and deffinatly change the subgect and so he did. '' Hey Boris I almost forgot I've got a letter for you.'' Kodi exclaimed whilst rumiging around in an old sack full of letters on the back of the sled. '' And here you are it's been in the bottom of the old bag for days and sorry but we couldn't deliver it to you until we had finnished our rounds in Apple gate.'' Kodi camly said while he handed Boris the ceiled letter by his mouth. Borris took it out of his mouth and ripped the envalope wide open in order to get the letter out as he sat down and excitedly exclaimed. '' Hey Balto look look it's from Stella and it says... Dear Boris I have some spaer time on April the 16th so I have decided to come to Balto's boat at around 11 am so then you can take me out for what I'm sure will be a delightful meal so I'll meet you there then Love Stella x x x. So did you hear that Balto it's the 16th today and it's already 10:45 which means I have 15 minuites to get to the boat so I must not waste any time talking so I'll meet you there Balto.''  Borris then leapt to his feet and ran off. ''Hey Borris take the short cut.'' Yelled Balto. But Borris just ignored him and wadled off as fast as he posibly could. '' Fine but I'll take the short cut and beat you there then maybye next time you will listen to me.'' Balto yelled whilst chuckling because he looked absaloutly halerious. But Borris couldn't hear Baltos remark since by now he was so far away he couldn't hear a word that Balto and Kodi was saying.

So Balto bid Kodi farewell and good luck and headed for an alley which was the short cut to the boat but when he got to the end of the alley he could see Jenna kissing Steele. Balto just gasped in horror and stood stump still he knew that there were soposidly moving on but it was just a few hours later and already Jenna was with another male. When Jenna noticed him Balto just ran to the boat and stayed there all day and all night.

1 month later excactly and Balto still didn't leave the boat not even for food or to see his 5 darling pups. He feared going out side since a romour had ocured that Jenna was pregnent  with Steeles pups and now dogs from all over the town came to mock him because Jenna his one true love had left him for Steele his greatest enemy. And when Balto couldn't bear the constant tyeasing any longer he ran away.

The next day Rose, Anika, Scarlet, Rocky and Arrow reported him missing to Doc and on that very night Doc alerted all the rest of the dogs. '' And so every one Balto is some where on the south east canadian border and we must find him and bring him back before a leathal  Blizzard hits that very place. And so heres the plan we are going to-'' '' Wait wait.'' Jenna interupted. ''Did you say South east border?'' She questioned. ''Yes, why does it er matter Jenna?'' Doc replied with a confused look. ''Well yes it does and I think I know where Balto might be. You see when me and Balto were together we always went to a small cave right beside the river Rasmion so he has got be there since he doesn't know any where apart from there and Nome.'' Jenna said whilst raising her voice. '' Well if you give us directions we can go and find him you see.'' Doc sugested. ''No I have to go on my own since Ican't discribe the route excactly since if I did give you directions I could garanty they would be wrang I only know when I'm on the jernouy myself and if others were to come it would make him even more uncomfortable which will make it harder to get him to come home.'' Jenna insisted. '' Very well you will leave in the morning but you oly have 3 days and at sunset on the third day and if you have not returned we will come and look for you. And Jenna...be careful.'' Doc said whilst Jenna nodded along. And a few minutes later after they had confirmed it Jenna went home to get a good nights sleep and to tell Steele, who had now moved in with her so that they could raise the pups together.

But Steele didn't want her to go and rescue Balto since he didn't want her to be on the same plannet as him but he just said ''Thats fine Babe'' since he didn't want Jenna to see an even worse side to him so that then she would leave him and go back to that scum wolf dog Balto. But the even bigger reason was that he knew that seeing Jenna would hurt Balto very much and the one thing he wanted more than any thing else, I mean except from being with Jenna until practicly the day they die, was to hurt Balto as much as anyone possibly could and it's becouse of this reason he was very keen on the idea and was cool with it.

The next morning Jenna set off rather early before the break of dawn on her quest to find Balto and bring him back before The blizzard hit the Ramsion River. The jernouy was treturous since the weather was horrid and the terain was tough so tough in fact it made her paws bleed but she didn't stop. Finaly she reached her destination and dusk was nearly there also.

She then slowly trudged through the mouth of the cave until she could just make out Baltos still body. She walked up to him and lay down beside him while she gazed upon his lifeless figure. He then looked at her with his large amba puppy dog eyes but the pair did not speak but they just starred into each others eyes. They were not enthused to see each and had no reason to be really. Then Balto looked away and tried to sleep. And Jenna did the same so she put her head in her paws and just listened to the howling winds and gales. And anyone could tell that the blizzard was coming.

In the morning Jenna woke up with a shock since as soon as she opened her eyes she could see Balto hovering over her in a very serios manor why he looked that serios, Jenna thought that he was going to beat her up. But then just before he turned his back on Jenna to walk away and sit in a slouched position with his head almost dangling down from his neck his expression became a sort of half smile instead and this made Jenna very releived as you could imagine.

Then Jenna finaly spoke up. '' Balto what in the world are you doing here you should come home imidietly before they concider this to be attempted suacide coming way out here when you know a blizzard, which could easily kill you in an instant, is heading this way.'' Acussed Jenna. '' Theres nothing for me to come back for Jenna.'' Replied Balto. '' Well just listen to me for 1 sec-'' '' No way Jenna'' Interupted Balto. '' I've done enough listening to you to last me a lifetime.'' Balto addad rudley. Hearing his remark, Jenna was now very anrgy with him so she stood up took a deep breath and yelled. '' BALTO! You have got the pups and a great race which you've always wanted to compete in how is that nothing to come home for! Besides I split up with you because it was the right thing to do, I mean would you still want me to be your mate even if I was your mate unwillingly? And yes me and Steele are together now and yes we are having pups but moaning about it isn't going to fix anything and if you come home you might find love just like me and Steele did. Besides the pups need you and do you think dogs arn't saying anything about me because they are! There  saying I'm an irisponsable mother since I left them with you but you don't see mee sitting around and greiving 24 7 so why can't you do the same!? now get off you behind and come home!'' And this may not of sounded all that pleasent from where Balto was standing but theese words were enough to make Balto come back to Nome. And when they returned everyone cheared for the great Balto had returned home once again.
