Dart knew what Aleutian meant, she loved the outdoors and she wanted to stay in the out doors.

Jack knew that Dart would never go far away from home. Dart was walking toward the house with pride. He knew that he was going to get in lots of trouble, but he was a proud dog.

“Dart, your home!” Jack screamed. The sound hurt Dart’s ears.

Everyone came to the door hugging and patting Dart. Dart thought that he was going to be yelled at and hit many times.

Dart went down stairs into his little hiding place. He knew that Aleutian was going to have puppies. Before Dart thought more about the pups, a magazine caught his eyes on the floor. It had a picture of a beautiful German shepherd named Névah. She had wolf in her too. Dart knew that it was Aleutian bigger sister who had the most wolf in her. When he looked at it, it had a small article on the side of the picture.

“She is the best dogs any one could ever find that is part wolf!” Sergeant Bruno tells everyone with pride for his dog.

Dart was reading it repeatedly until his eyes started to hurt. Then something caught his eyes and the end of the article.

Aleutian was sleeping under the stairs of a house with her pillow over top of her to keep her warm. Dart squeezed in and laid beside his mate. When Aleutian looked up to see him, Dart told her everything that was in the magazine. Aleutian gasped.

“Are you serious? Névah cannot come here on Christmas! She will ruin our time together!” Aleutian snapped.

“Well, let’s think about our pups instead of Névah.” Dart reassured her.

The two smiled and laid their head close together and fell asleep. Dreaming of what was in store for them in a few months or sooner.
