Revenge Is My Name

Rachen sat on his haunches and looked down at the valley below him it’s vast green country side stretching for miles. He thought “I refuse to believe that my only purpose on this planet is to cause pain and suffering” he heard someone approaching he turned and saw Rez and Bien standing there. Rez looked at Rachen and says “so what’s up’ Rachen says “nothing” Bien looks at him she notices he is looking rather ragged and tense.

She says “Rachen why don’t you go take a bath or something you fur is all dirty and it would help you relax” Rachen nods and says “I will do that” he make his way down the hill and toward a small stream. Rachen slips into the cold refreshing water, he lets the current rush over his body cleansing him of dirt and grime. He felt his heart beat slow and all of his concerns melted away.

Rachen climbed out of the stream and shook the water from his fur as he did this he sensed something in the air a heaviness that settled on him. Rez and Bien lay in the cave when they felt the same thing Bien jumped up and said ‘Rachen” she rushed out of the cave followed by Rez.

Rachen backed up and saw his father before him, his father stood before him and says “It is time to pay up my son” Rachen digs his claws into the ground and says “come and get it” his father lunged at him and grabbed Rachen around the throat trying to rip his soul out. Just then Rez and Bien appeared Rachen’s father looked at them and lets go of his neck and says “I see they bound themselves to you no matter” He took a hold of Rachens throat and put his paw on his chest and pulls. Rachen feels weak and his vision starts to blur his heart slows until it is almost stops. He trys moving away but his father has a grip on his throat eventually Rachen cannot fight any longer and his soul is taken. Bien and Rez watch in horror as Rachen falls to the ground dead they start to feel their own souls being pulled on.

Rez says weakly “Bien I cannot last longer” after he says that he falls to the ground lifeless. Bien digs her claws into the ground she sees her brothers soul being pulled towards the evil wolf she graps onto it. She says “you will not take him and Rachen with you” she digs her claws into the ground and backs up pulling Rachen away from the wolf. Rachen’s father screams and pounces on her.

He digs his fangs into her spine trying to pry the life out of her, she gasps for air her lungs burn. She shakes him off and says “leave my soul alone you mangy cur” he pounces on her again and manages to rip the life out of her body. Bien feels her body fall away like a curtain she is standing alone holding on to Rachen and Rez.

Rez stirs and says “what’s going on” he looks around and sees himself laying on the ground his head slumped on his paws his eyes opened and foggy. He sees a silver cord running from his chest to Rachen and then to his sister. His sister looks at him and says “get up and help me” Rez gets up and says “what do you want me to do” she replies “ concentrate on him and wish him gone with your love’ he is stumped by this and says “what” she looks at him and says “ your love for me for Rachen for everything will send him back to the underworld.”

Rez looks at him and thinks “I wish he was back where he came from” he releases his love, Rachens father backs up as a blinding light envelopes him. He slinks away into the darkness and doesn’t come out and is gone. Rachen gets up and looks at them and says “thank you” Bien and Rez says “your welcome” there is a blinding flash Rachen gets off of the ground and stretches himself as the others do the same. They make their way back to the den and to a happier life.
