Eponine’s POV

I walked through a forest nearby Nome. I am the daughter of Balto, from his third litter. My father says that I look a lot like my grandmother. I have white fur with black ear tips and a black tail tip. I have black front paws and gold eyes. I look nothing like my siblings.

I looked up and through the trees was a beautiful ray of sunlight from the small openings in the tree tops. I smiled and came up to a lake which had a waterfall on the opposite side. I looked down at my refection. Why am I here right now? I was banished from Nome for killing my sister, Aniu. Then I heard a familiar voice call.

“Hello…? Hello!?” I saw a reddish mutt. He was looking around and saw me. Next to him was my brother, Zip. It was Buddy.

“Eponine!” I slowly walked up to him, and I saw him, running a full speed towards me. My eyes widened

“Eponine! Eponine!”

Then he tackled me to the ground. His head was nestled on my shoulder and mine was the same way too. We both quickly lifted out heads up and our noses touched. It felt like the time was still as I felt his warm breath on my face. I’m not sure how long it was, a minute…? A Few seconds…? But it felt like an hour, that we stared into each other’s eyes and our breath caressed out muzzles.

We pulled away quickly and mumble many things to each other like, “Sorry…” until it was broken by a “BLECH!” from my ignorant brother.

“I have to find a new home. I can’t stay here anymore.” I said quickly changing to subject.

“Then I’m coming with you.” Buddy said.

“Me too.”

“What about your owners?” I asked.

“Stay with our owners, and leave you here to die? I don’t think so.” Said Dingo.

“Okay. Thanks guys.”

Meanwhile nearby…

“Father. This is it. I have found my mate.” A bold grey-blue wolf said.

“Are you sure, Prince?”

“Positive. You can step down, once I get my mate to be with me.” Prince said.

 He was looking in the distance at a beautiful white hybrid… Eponine.
