Trixie and Bandit.
Bandit; a snarling mean wolf who didn’t care for anybody but himself.
He was huge bigger than a Great Dane. Lots of girl wolves liked him. He was handsome. But he didn’t care for them. He was weird to hang around the city instead of with a wolf pack. He never thought about the past.
A cold winter night…………………..he slept outside behind a ‘swanky house. [Fancy house] He always did.
This morning,
He woke up hearing tags jingle and a hi-pitched bark. He knew it was a girl-husky. She ran around the house and came to a screeching halt…snow went flying onto him. He still lay there half asleep. She growled he got up and did a vicious growl. It scared her so she stopped……….he said, “What do you want stranger?” She picked up her tough-side again. She growled “GET OFF MY PROPERTY!” He was ready to fight her. He showed his piercing sharp fangs out her. Finally both of them gasping her master herd the growling he came running out of the house with a big long gun. He pointed it at the wolf. He ran…………and ran.
He finally stopped. Asking himself “why did I run”?………… He didn’t answer himself. “ I’m not afraid of a gun!” So he ran off down the back roads to the same exact house. He panted heavily. By then the sun went down the moon went up. It was a long way from there to there. He at last got there. He flopped down where he slept last time. He was hungry. He smelled her dog food a few feet over. The blow read Trixie. He had no thought to it. He chowed down on it. “ What ever it was it was yummy.” Then he went to sleep. It wasn’t that cold that night so he lay on his side. Belly full.
Next morning,
The Husky saw him. She was mad as fire. She sneaked around the house. Tipped toe and finally got to him. She was laughing her guts out inside her mind. She stopped and pounced on him. He snapped with his teeth………he was so alerted she couldn’t laugh. He didn’t like it. She remained standing on top of him. “Snap” Bandit howled with pain. It sounded like a freight train. Trixie’s heart skipped a beat. She jumped off of him as fast as she could. “OH MY GOSH ARE YOU OK?” Trixie stuttered. He didn’t respond. His eye’s squinted together so hard you could see his veins. He un-squinted his eye’s but the pain was still there. His back-left leg was broken. She ran to the garage. She remembered an old cast that was broken in half. She found it in a stinky smelly box. It smelled so bad that she didn’t even want to touch it. She went against her will and grabbed it. She kicked up snow as she ran out. She got back to him. He was standing. “But how did you get up, your leg is broken?” He said, “I’m just strong.” She said well you must put this cast on. He replied “ no.” She replied “ yes.” He wasn’t going to put on she thought. But I ‘am she thought again. She slapped it on there. It was quick. So quick that you couldn’t see what had happen. He did a low growl. She smiled though. She told him “it will heel faster if the cast is on.” “Whatever” he replied.
Hours later he found himself asleep inside the garage. The big door was shut. He sighed, “at least it is warm.” He went back asleep.
He woke up from some music on the radio off in the distance of the house. By then Trixie came running out. He watch her run to the door. She smashed a tiny button to open it. He ran out as well. She asked him “how is your leg?” He replied “horrible.” Trixie felt very bad about what she did. She ran in front of him. “You know if your going to be hanging around here I need to know your name,” she said. “Bandit” he said. Trixie ran off and left him alone. That’s how he wanted it anyway.
Hey, Phoebe [pronounced as “feebee”] she called to her best friend. Hey Trixie she said. “Hey I saw you out there with that big muscular cute wolf.” She said curiously. “Oh he just injured so I let him stay. You know he isn’t that nice. He was a paper clip away from killing me the other night. Trixie screamed happily. “Ohhh tell me more,” said Phoebe. “Maybe some other time” said Trixie. They walked on until they met an old friend that they hated……….
Back at Trixie’s house Bandit was walking around. He saw a small fuzzy squirrel. He didn’t care that his leg was broke. As he normally would do he snoke up on it and pounced. He killed it. That was too easy he replied sadly. An old creepy looking man walked up. “ He said I like your talent of killing things” to Bandit.
Trixie’s snarled at him. She growled, “ we have been over this be for it is O-V-E-R”. Phoebe had never liked him. So she cowardly ran off. Trixie stared at the big Doberman.
He told that he didn’t care. “I saw you with that old raggedy wolf.” He growled. “SO?” She said. “That is none of your business”. She added. “Your still mine…” He said. “If ever catch you with him again he will be super”. In an evil voice.
The old dude snatched him. He growled at him. But there was nothing he could do. He was in the back of a rusted cage inside the truck. They drove only for a few minutes. The old guy let him out. Bandit jumped out and into the snow. He tied a chain around his neck. The guy let go of Bandit. Bandit ran but he couldn’t go no farther. He finally realized he was on a chain.
Trixie walked home. When she got there she shouted “BANDIT where are you?” She went around the house two times. Where is he she thought? She got worried. By then it was to dark to look for him. She slept outside that night.
The next morning Bandit woke up. He stretched and yawned. He saw the old guy with four other dogs loose walking around him. Ready to go hunting’ he told Bandit. He was put on a leather leash unlike the rest of them. Alrighty lets go yall. He said. Bandit kept his eyes on the four dogs. One was a German Shepard. Another one was a Blood Hound. Another one Pitt Bull. The last one a Doberman. They walked up to a gate. Bandit was so focused on the other dogs he bumped his nose in to it. The other dogs laughed except one…the Doberman was growling. The old guy told the Doberman to cut it out. He stopped but still showed his fangs at him. The other three dogs asked, “why are you growling at him”? “He is the one that my girlfriend likes”. “What” they said. “You know its Trixie”. “Oh yeah” they remembered.
Trixie got up fast and began looking for Bandit. She left the house with out eating breakfast. She thought maybe Rocky tore him up? “No, no, no he hasn’t seen me with Bandit ever since I left to walk with Phoebe.” She didn’t trust her gut. She ran to Rocky’s house.
Bandit glared at the Doberman. “All right Rocky get up here in front”. He whispered. “Now be very quite yall,” he told the rest of them. He pointed the gun. He pulled the trigger. He shot a squirrel. Bandit wanted to go after it but he couldn’t. He was on a leash. Rocky retrieved it. “Good boy Rocky” he praised the Doberman. “BANNNNNNNNNNDIT” Trixie called. All there ears rose. They saw her. All of them ran to her. Rocky got there first. Bandit and the old guy walked back to his chain. He clipped him on to it. “All right yall can play with your doggie friend” he replied. He was happy because we got him a squirrel. They all crowed around him including Trixie. “Bandit”! I’m so happy to see that you’re alive. She ran and playfully pounced on him. All noises stopped. Rocky grabbed Bandit’s fur that was around his neck. “Stooooooooopppppp”! Trixie screamed with horror. Bandit fought back soon it ended……….. blood was all on the ground and on them. Rocky was injured badly. Bandit won the fought. From all the tugging the chain broke off of him. He slid the collar off and told Trixie to run for her safety because the other three dogs were ready to attack bandit. Bandit fought all of them. The other three just had broozes. Rocky could hardly stand. Bandit ran. Trixie didn’t go she was only hiding behind the gate. Bandit saw her. He stopped and told her to come now. She followed right behind him. They got back to her house. Both of them collapsed beside each other. They were to tiered to even say good night and off to there beds.
The next morning they got up both of them ate dog food. Trixie began to have feelings toward Bandit. Bandit began to have feelings toward Trixie too. That day all they did was spend time together. They went all over the city. Trixie was the first one Bandit cared about. They told each other stories. This was the first time Bandit spoke about his past……………..
Rocky had broken a leg and two ribs. But he still survied. He thought to himself you haven’t seen the last of me Bandit………………..
