It is a cold dreary night, the stars vanished in the sky and the moon as well sunk into the fog....Tis the year of 2010, a time where humans have destroyed most of the earth, and all wild dogs perished and transformed into fur products and pelts. Only the coyote and wolf remain alive in the Earth, struggling to survive in the destroyed area...The Steelfang clan has all the wolves of the Earth, except the lonewolf pack, consisting of four members, the lonewolf pack is a pack that has banned wolves, their names are, Soft rain, Howling fox, Salmon tail, and Eagle wing.The Icesnout clan has all of the Earth's coyotes, with plenty of pups to raise...and now...we begin our story...  

                              CHAPTER 1: The Steelfang clan

 "They better be here in five minutes...the pups won't last long..." sighed   Raven claw, the omega of the clan. She had been pup-sitting for quite a long time, while the rest of the clan was hunting, and the pups were getting hungrier by the minute. "Raven claw! I'm hungry!" cried a little brown pup with white eyepatches. "Don't worry Almond! Your mom will be here soon!" answered Raven claw, unsurley. A couple of howls were heard from afar and Almond could see the clan returning from their hunt. "Mom! Let me eat first!" yelped a black pup with a white tail. "No! Me!" yelled a white pup. "Hold your horses! First you Sleet, and then you Charcoal." said the female alpha, Yuukaku. One by one Yuukaku reguraited food out

 of her mouth. "Yuukaku! Singed pelt has sent spies over to our territory!" exclaimed one of her scouts, Stone. "I'll be right there! Oro! Tell my mate that I will be in out in our territory, looking for Singedpelt's spies!" growled, Yuukaku. "Yes M'lady!" Oro replied, he had golden fur with a white face, he went to the den. "Sir! Your mate has told me to report to you about Singedp-" Oro, stopped and stared at the floor of the den, there was Grey ear(the alpha male)lying on the floor...dead. Left shoulder, one of Singed pelt's spies, stood on top of Grey ear. He was covered in blood and had a harsh cut on his flank. "W-what the?! What did you do to Grey ear?!"snarled Oro.

  "I killed him...And I will do the same to you!!!" howled Left shoulder, leaping on top of Oro. Left shoulder turned Oro around and bit his neck, sinking his fangs into the delicate skin. Oro kicked and slashed, but Left shoulder stayed on top of him and bit harder. Oro took one last breath to say: "I'm sorry m'lady...forgive me..." Then he laid motionless on the rocky floor. "Hah...he got on my nerves all the time.." laughed Left shoulder, he walked out of the den and ran toward his clan's territory. Later, when everybody heard of the news, Yuukaku didn't seem disturbed by the death of her mate and announced that she would take leadership and placed Razz berri as her new beta. "Don't you feel sorrow for your mate m'lady?" asked Razz berri. "No. I must not turn weak at my mates death, I have to stay strong or we will lose the war." replied Yuukaku, calmly. "What war m'lady?" asked Razz berri. "The war I will soon declare, the war of The Steelfang clan and The Icesnout." she responsed.   

                           Chapter 2: The Icesnout clan

Meanwhile at the Icesnout clan, Singed pelt was talking with his mate, Ivory. "Ivory, you know that you have to stop giving pity to our enemy." he growled. "But, I can't help it dear, maybe we should just join together!" she exclaimed. Singed pelt turned around and pulled back his lips, "NO!NEVER MENTION THE WORD  TOGETHER WITH WOLF AND COYOTE!" he boomed, leaping on top of her. "You have to understand!!! They have been killing us for years and we have been mistaken for them and shot at!" Singed pelt howled. Left shoulder came in the room and stared at Singed pelt and Ivory. "Um...commander! I have killed the wolf alpha male!" he protested. Singed pelt stood up and walked out of the den. "Well, let me show you something...." protested Ivory. She walked out of the den and looked at a small place covered in moss. "The lonewolf pack..." said Left shoulder. "Yes..."she protested.. Singed pelt came and growled, "What are you doing to my mate?!" Left shoulder stepped back. "We had enough of you!"snarled Ivory. She pushed Singed pelt down their high den on a cliff and they both fell into the rocky water below. "Ivory! Singed pelt!" yelped another spy, Magma canines.

 "Left shoulder...how could you.." he said. "It wasn't me! I sware!" Left shoulder growled. "You guys!Don't fight!We lost ten members while you were gone Left shoulder! Yuukaku's scouts killed them!" Red eye, another spy, protested. Before going away into the main den, Left shoulder looked down in the water and saw Singed pelt come out and run into the main den with scabs across his pelt. Ivory came to the surface...floating...dead.

                        Chapter 3: Telling everyone about the war

At the Steelfang clan, Yuukaku held a meeting about wether they should declare war or not. "M'lady...we have approximatly 59% of our strongest wolves in our clan." said Razz berri. "Hmmm...Is it good enough to declare war?" responded Yuukaku. "Looks to me that we need a few more wolves to train before we declare it m'lady." answered Razz beri. "Okay, Heartear, Bloody vein, Tangerest, and Aztec will be the trained wolves." she said, standing up and walking towards her den. "Raven claw," Yuukaku said. "Yes, m'lady?" she asked. "Take care of the pups, we will be hunting soon..." When Yuukaku entered her cave, Black cherry and White berry (members of the pack) sneaked out and ran towards the Lonewolf pack's territory. "Soft rain, Howling fox, Salmon tail, Eagle wing..." called White berry. A black flash zipped through the air and tackled Black cherry, with the force of a sonic boom.

 "What are you doing in our territory?!Members from the Steelfang pack aren't alowed here!!!" growled Salmon tail. "We just came to say that we will probably declare war against the Icesnouts." whimpered Black cherry. A white wolf with black eyepatches walked towards White berry, snarling. "White berry...what are you and your brother doing here?!"she growled, snapping at  her. "We told you! We are going to declare war!" White berry shouted back. "Hmph, we might as well hide in the shadows while you perverts fight in the war..." responded the white wolf, named Howling fox. Black cherry tucked his tail and ran back to the Steelfang clan, leaving White berry behind. "Looks like you are left with us, White berry, left to die." snarled Howling fox. "Fine do kill me, I will have no part in the war that will be declared if you do and will rest in peace in the heavens..." answered White berry, sitting down. Howling fox looked at Salmon tail, and then turned to walk in the cave. "Fine, leave, I want you to suffer in the war and die." Howling fox murmured. Salmon tail snarled and followed Howling fox. "Well, until we meet again Howling fox." growled White berry, running back to the clan. Yuukaku woke up by the sound of White berry's pads and looked outside of her den, and she saw her running to the sleeping pack. "Grrrrr...." snarled Yuukaku, leaping towards her.

 "White berry! What have you been doing out of our borders? " she snarled. "Oh! Uh...just warning the lonewolf pack m'lady.." answered White berry, meekly. "You know you aren't supposed to warn the Lonewolf members! They are wolves who broke our pack's rules." snarled Yuukaku, pulling back her lips. "B-But, Black cherry came too!" stammered White berry. Yuukaku looked at Black cherry and sighed, "You pups still have to learn about the rules so, I'll go easy on you." She walked slowly to the top of a rock and yelled, "Wake up! It is time for a hunt!" The pack howled a mighty yawn and followed Yuukaku to a meadow, where antelope were grazing. (Raven claw stayed behind with the pups) First, Yuukaku scanned the scenery for weak or old antelope and found one staying close to the leader. Then, she ran towards the leader and began to destract it, so the rest of the pack attacked the old one. One wolf bit hard on the antelope's neck and it died away. Yuukaku let  the other one go and came to eat. After a while, they were back at the den. She walked up to her cave and layed down on the moss-covered ground, watching Eniu train Aztec, Bloody vien, Heartear, and Tangerest. I wonder if we really need to fight the Icesnouts to survive...maybe we could team up and become one clan, including the Lonewolf pack... Yuukaku thought. Her mind was interrupted by an erie howl. She shot up to her feet and galloped to the main place of the clan. She had a shocked empression of what she saw,..coyotes everywhere, attacking the whole clan, while some protected themselves and others. It was an ambush! Yuukaku looked around worridly for the pups and sighed with relief, the pups were protected by Raven claw. She ran full speed toward a coyote and headbutted him away, Razz berri came and and snarled, "M'lady! We have to get these coyotes out of here! Or else we will lose the war!" Yuukaku nodded and howled at the top of her lungs, and slashed every coyote near her. "Retreat!" called on coyote, running
