This Month has been extrordinary! Kodi was thinking to himself. He had recently got a mate named Sandy. He couldn't be any more lucky. Kodi's mate Sandy walked in. "Hey Kodi!" said Sandy as she nuzzled him affectionately.

   "Hi Sandy what's up?" Kodi asked.

"Kodi, something has happened." Sandy said.

"What are you alright?"

"Yes I'm fine." Sandy said. "It's good news. Guess what Kodi? I'm going to have pups! We're going to be parents!" Sandy was very excited. Kodi had a weird sort of look on his face.

"When are the pups due?" Kodi asked urgently.

"In a month sometime, Isn't it wonderful?"

"Yes" Kodi replied.

A month later.....

Kodi had been very nervous the past few weeks. He was worried for his mate Sandy and his unborn pups. He had a job as a maildog, and had to leave Sandy alone every day. It was almost time for work and he decided he would check on Sandy just to be sure.

Kodi walked into Sandy's mansion. "Hello, Sandy are you alright?" Kodi whispered. There is no one here, Kodi thought. Suddenly he heard a noise from the kitchen.

"Kodi help me!" Kodi instantly realised it was Sandy.

"Go girl" Sandy's owner was helping her all the way.

"sandy are you okay?" Kodi asked.

"I'm fine but are pups are being born."

Kodi heard his owner calling. He hated to leave, but knew Sandy was going to be alright. Also that the mail doesn't deliver itself.

"I'll be back as soon as I can!" exclaimed Kodi. When Kodi was at work, he couldn't concentrate. He ran twice as fast. Amazingly, they reached White mountain in a mere 45 minutes flat!

As soon as Kodi got home he rushed to Sandy's house. The doors were locked! "I wonder where they could be?" Kodi said. He thought for a brief moment. "The VET OFFICE!!" He screamed and rushed over to the vet office.

Kodi walked in. there he saw two beautiful pups. sandy was crying. "Whats wrong Sandy?" Kodi aked.

"There were 4 pups but two died."

"Well we at least have two beautiful twins."

They decided to name them Balto and Lilia.
