wrong actions. I love you too, friend. I love you too.” He smiled as tears slid down his cheeks. Suddenly, silver mist began to arise around 2D. He looked around nervously. But a warm breeze quickly comforted him. “I know you love me. I know I love too. You are forgiven for your actions,” it was Murdoc’s voice, but gentler and softer than usual. Then, in the mist, a foggy form stepped toward the vocalist. It was Murdoc. “M-M-Muds… I’m so sorry. I love you more than life itself.” 2D looked down at his paws, tears dripping still onto the ground. “Don’t be sorry. If I were in the same state you were, I would’ve done the same thing.” A gentle smile flickered across Murdoc’s face.

“Thank you.” 2D said quietly. “Yes, as I said before, don’t be sorry. I will always and have always loved you. Now, I must go, but I will always be in your heart, as you will always be in mine. Goodbye.” Murdoc turned and started away. “Yes. Always, we will always be together through our hearts. Goodbye.” 2D howled into the breeze. The silver mist vanished, as did Murdoc. And the angelic glow left.

“Did you see that? Murdoc really will exist in our hearts, forever.” Noodle said, looking at Russel, who nodded. 2D then walked back into their house. “Murdoc will always be with us,” he said. All of a sudden, a silver glow overcame the vocalist’s eyes. It was a foggy glow that of Murdoc’s eyes. “Huh?” As soon as Noodle spoke, the glow was gone.

“Let’s celebrate Christmas the right way this year!” 2D said. The three dogs partied like mad, making and eating cookies, all that good stuff.

2D then glanced out the window. He could not see Murdoc, but he could sense him. “Yes, I love you. I really do… My brother.” He smiled, as did Murdoc, who saw him from the fog.
