them. Balto shivered, here we go. Arcux slightly turned his head but started to walk to them as the other wolves did. Balto followed them.

 

Procyon could see the wolves that were coming up, Cu’can, Tokala, Astro, Orion, Corbett, Aiden, Blood Wraith; his real name is Blood Shadow. Hector made a small growls as his neared them.

 

Tokala started the talking, “I see your not hiding in your caves, strong, but not wise.”

 

“Your unwanted here.” Cygnus harshly spat.

 

Aiden ran up to him, Procyon intervened. Aiden swore as he returned to his side. Tokala sighed, “If you want your wolves not to slaughtered. One give Aiden daughter Adhara back to him, second I want lordship of Aquarius and Odyssey. To gather when I command.”

 

Balto uttered a small laugh, “You expect me look upon your army and tremble, and well I see it.” Balto looked at both sides. “I see thousand wolves and heroes brought for old hatred!”

 

Cu’can growled, “Half-breed you said something over your head.” Balto turned to him.

 

Procyon made a loud growl, “I tell you now, no son or wolf of us will turn to you.”

 

Blood Shadow spoke, “I see Balto you hide behind them, as you killed two of my wolves.”

 

“That was I, Blood Wraith.” Hector confessed bitterly.

 

Blood Shadow didn’t listen, but Tokala spoke again, “Careful now, my offers are low.”

 

Cygnus growled, “That’s why we will never serve you!”

 

Astro leaned over, “I see this goes nowhere, lets get this war done.”

 

“Wait!” Cygnus called out. “Aiden you want Adhara, I love her, lets settle this your best VS me! The winner wins and takes her let that be it.”

 

Cu’can scoffed, “Brave but not enough.”

 

Aiden went to Tokala, “Let me do this.”

 

Tokala hissed at him, “I didn’t come here for her.”

 

Aiden continued, “Once he’s dead, Astro will attack, you must go to war with him, the Spirits will allow that, your loyal to him, but me let this be done.”

 

Tokala sighed, he came snout to snout with Cygnus, “Let it be.” He turned and went to his army. He called out.

 

Cygnus turned to Procyon, “Alright it’s settled now.”

 

Hector blinked, “Wow.”

 

Atria looked around and leaned to Arcux, “Something wrong.”

Arcux nodded.

 

“If I fall tell Adhara that I love her.” Cygnus told Procyon.

 

“I will don’t worry. You can win your great fighter.” Procyon urged his best friend.

 

Balto heard enough he went up to Cygnus face to face, “You worry about his fangs and your fangs and nothing else!” Cygnus stepped back, but he nodded and went a little ahead of the line.

 

Procyon leaned to Balto, “Where did you learn that?”

 

Balto laughed, “When you get beat up a lot, you know how to fight and what to worry about.” Procyon laughed and looked ahead.

 

“If this is to end here, let it be quick.” Procyon said aloud.

 

Cygnus looked back to the hills, he wished he could his beautiful Adhara. He looked ahead waiting. He saw them talking then finely Blood Shadow was chosen to fight.

 

Cygnus was angry “I said one of your own!”

 

Blood Shadow answered him, “I fight for who ever I want.” Cygnus grunted and sighed, I didn’t expect to fight one who has never been hurt before.

 

“Lets go!” Blood Shadow called out. Blood Shadow ran up Cygnus. Cygnus was surprised by his speed but dealt with it. He moved out of the way. Blood Shadow grinned he jumped over Cygnus all the way behind him.

 

Cygnus looked up then turned around, to have a paw slam into his face. Cygnus had little time for groaning. He shook his head to recover and went for the offensive. He tried swing for his neck but it was blocked by Blood Shadows paw. He grunted as he tried again but his chin was upper cuttered paw Blood Shadow, he fell down.

 

Blood Shadow passed around him, “Get up Alpha of Odyssey.” Cygnus got to his feet and tried to lung at him, Blood Shadow grinned and he forced himself to fall on his back. Cygnus went for his neck but Blood Shadow used his hinged legs to hit him away, back to the ground.

 

Cygnus quickly got up again and charged at Blood Shadow. He tried a swing but was blocked. Trying to trick him Cygnus faked a swing them a real one but was no use. Cygnus saw a furry mass hit his side as Blood Shadow came to side and head butted his left side.

 

Aiden laughed. Blood Shadow looked at him, then went on he waited for Cygnus to stand up he jumped over him again but not above to the side, he bit Cygnus front right leg then jumped. Cygnus yelped as he heard his leg fracture as he went into the air with Blood Shadow. When he landed, Blood Shadow let go of him letting him roll. Procyon wanted to run in to help but knew the pack and couldn’t intervene. Balto went forward.

 

Blood Shadow went to Aiden, “He’s yours now.” He left after saying to Aiden. Aiden smiled as he went over to the crawling away Cygnus. He could hear him groaning as he approached.  

Balto still went forward till he reached Cygnus, he could see he was bruised from the fight he also had a bloody mouth. Cygnus put his head next to Balto’s right paw as if for comfort, he could hear him say ‘let me die, at least I die with some honor.’ Balto looked at Aiden now that he could he see him close. Down in his heart he hated him for some reason.

 

“Balto, half-breed. You have no fight with this war, we will let you go, move away I’ll kill him at your feet I don’t care.” Aiden said as he neared.

 

“He’s my friend I promise I won’t let him die.” Balto harshly said to Aiden. Procyon watched Balto what is he doing?!

 

Jenna watched from where she was she could see him in the front. Loresa looked out, “What is he doing? You can still leave if you don’t do anything.”

 

Jenna looked at Loresa “We can? Then well Balto just don’t fight, please don’t.”

 

“He was told not to, by Procyon.” Loresa commented as thy watched.

 

Cinder laughed as the Raccoon and Tiger now played with him instead of biting him. Cinder hit a pebble when he did the two would chase it till it stopped.

 

Cronos groaned Spirit didn’t stop the teething she fell off his head again, back to a little below it. She got back up and tried to get up by using his head. Cronos lifted his head to evade it, but he lowered it, Spirit tried biting it but couldn’t get a good grip so after a few tries went to his tail to gnaw on it.

 

Cronos moved his tail in vain as Spirit dove and bit it. Cronos closed his eyes as he tried to free his poor long tail.

 

Balto twitched his mussel to growl but hid it. “I made a promise.”

 

Aiden scoffed then went for Cygnus neck. Balto went below Aiden and bit as hard as he could into Aiden’s throat. Balto could feel his blood on his tong. Aiden stopped in his tracks. Balto gritted his teeth and used his right paw to push Aiden away.

 

Aiden’s body fell where Balto pushed him to the ground. Astro laughed hysterically, “well I guess we can go to war now. I’ll go for, for the side right.” Astro laughed all the way to his post. Tokala shrugged.

 

“Alright prepare for battle!” Tokala yelled out.

 

Balto hastily brought Cygnus to his feet, “Come on.” Cygnus started to walk put fell down, Balto could hear the wolves howling he grunted as he just put him on his back. He weighed more than he thought.

 

Procyon rushed to Balto side to help but couldn’t really, “Balto take Cygnus to cave entrance and get to your spot now!” Balto went to do as he was told.

 

Procyon shouted with all he had, “Arcux you lead the left Atria the right and Hector fight with me in the middle!” Procyon went for his spear like sticks.

 

Balto finely reached the caves, “Here Cygnus here I’ll leave you here.” Balto took some breaths.

 

Cygnus grunted a little, “Why…why did you help…help me?”

 

Balto took a final breath, “One you’re my friend two, I made a promise I always keep my promises.”

Cygnus smiled, “Spirits guide you Balto. Go.” Balto nodded and ran for his spot on the rock to try keeping the lines steady.

 

Procyon put spear stick in his mouth and waited for the bigger wolf force to ram into them. Hector went a little back, “They always ram and flip over each other might as well stay a little behind.”

 

The left side was the first to be slammed into the rest was shortly after. Hector as he said the first ram before fighting. Procyon used his first spear stick to get the first wolf’s throat, and then he dropped it after that.

 

He bit into another wolf’s throat and pushed it away. A wolf from the side tried to get him but Procyon bit his leg then throat shortly after. “Come on! Push!” Procyon howled out. If they pushed forward they would break and would eventually win if they did, but it had to be soon or they would die out.

 

Hector stayed a little out of the front. He saw a wolf die in front
