“Your too weak to catch up, too soft…so I’m going to change that, the first to die will be that lesser wolf. Cronos! Then the small red dog Cinder! Then the bigger one, Jenna! That will get burning at full, this I won’t fight, let alone kill.” Altair started in a run. Balto gasped and started to run but tripped. Balto felt the side of face hit the snow. No! Balto eagerly got to his four. “No!” Balto screamed at Altair.

“The they mean to you the harder you’ll want revenge you should thank me really. You don’t have to have those attachments anymore after I kill them for you. You’ve have fought fairly recent with her, bad, it isn’t going to ok it self out, just like father and mother. They had fights like that, you take them differently but. You should see now it isn’t going to work half-breeds don’t live happy there unpredictable, violent, and no at heart loves them. You been alone anyway so just getting there faster that’s all.”

Balto felt his burning go out of control; “DIE!” the words didn’t seem to be his own self. Balto roared as he speed increased.

Altair smiled “That’s it, but you’ll be faster then that to catch me pardon my words are off.” Altair ran faster. Balto growled as he saw Altair wasn’t able to catch up.

Procyon got off Hector as he woke up, “What happened?”

Procyon growled and hit Hector, “You got hyperthermia!”

“Ouch! Why did you hit me!” Hector demanded to know.

“I’ll hit you for constant communicant so you just don’t fall down again.” Procyon nodded his head.

“I was feeling warm. Dang it I’m cold.” Hector whimpered, “But where’s Balto?”

“He’s fighting but if I didn’t need to help you I’d be with him! We both need to find his family!” Procyon started as walked to Balto’s sent.

“Oh get it! We trick him to where we made it up!” Procyon hit Hector, “Ouch! K I liget!” Procyon and Hector made there way to Balto’s sent. “Hey if where looking for his family why follow his sent I know Jenna’s.”

Procyon looked at him, “You do?”

Hector nodded his head; “Yeah I spent some time with her in No…at Balto’s place.” Procyon looked at Hector, “I didn’t do nothing!” Procyon looked at him harder, “So I look can I? Anyway I remember the sent believe me!” Procyon sighed.

“Alright Hector lead the way then.” Procyon wasn’t sure if he was telling the truth, but he figured now Balto was dead.

Balto panted as he now started to lose distance between him and Altair. Balto did what he could only think of. He ran to his sprint and Jumped, giving a loudest howl he ever done. Balto landed and started to run again to Altair. Altair twitch his ear at Balto’s howl it hurt his ears.

“You’ll have to do better than that!” Altair scoffed as he ran faster again. No! NO! NO! Balto screamed in mind! After ten minutes Balto lost Altair.

Balto screamed in the air of the all things he hated it was himself, Balto scratched the trees around him, he glanced at his paw, he bit into his right upper paw hard. It’s your fault! Balto looked at tree as he attacked best he could. Balto followed the trail of Altair sent. From his own blood the taste brought him to a bloodlust. He trusted for the blood of the one he hated.

It been cloudy day that day as Balto searched for an hour his mind bent out whack. Balto sniffed the air again; he could smell Jenna it calmed him down. Balto panted as he calmed down. Balto took a breath, there alive they have to be.

Balto started to walk around he could smell Jenna then he smelt Altair, “Him…” Balto looked around. Balto blinked and moved away when a raindrop hit his head. “Rain.” A sheet of lighting that filled the sky interrupted Balto’s thoughts. The rain turned to a down pure. Balto felt his fur become drenched in water.

Balto dripping wet cried to himself. The rain blocked Jenna sent with everything else. “Jenna I’m so sorry.” Balto looked around with his eyes. He shrived in the cold with the rain. Flash. A lighting bolt shot a few miles away. Balto could hear the thunder. He saw something move behind a tree. Balto looked at it. I should keep moving.

A lighting bolt struck a tree in front of Balto setting fire to the tree; as it fell to the ground. Balto gave gasp at the fire he almost ran into it. Balto turned around, he widen his eyes at the sight Altair with a stick in his mouth.

Balto’s body refused to move till the force and the pain made him move. Altair used the stick to stab into Balto’s left side. Balto was forced back and fell to the ground. Balto’s eyes shut them selves.

“Letting your guard down is bad my friend but you didn’t move thought I killed them no reason to live…I guess you are too found you weak link.” Altair shrugged as he left, “My revenge is done.”

Balto smiled, “Th…en yo…ur re…ve…nge w…ill never..ha…ppen.” Balto barely got himself standing. “I told someone already I never break a promise, no matter what.” Balto got him self in a running position. “Even my own death will go for even the smallest promise, I promised Jenna I’d get her out and I will.” Balto opened his eyes it took two tries to force them to stay open.

“Strong but no dice.” Altair smiled as he waited for Balto to get closer.

“Yo…u ma…de you…r l…ast mis…ta…ke, the first was letting me l…ive when you cou…ld have t…aken my li…fe eas…y I… didn’t make… the pr…o…mise then. Now not finishing them off right. You over ki…ll an o…pponent so they can ne…ver get bac…k u…p, I’ve h…ave my li…fe s…pare…d man…y tim…es that way, an…d i…t goe…s aga…in, you can…’t k…ill m…e. Not with my promise to Jenna” Balto smile faded as he walked closer with his head high.

Balto walked till about five feet away from Altair, “I… n…ever …go…t y…our n…ame.”

Altair growled, he was angered that he wasn’t dead yet, “Altair.”

Balto blinked, he raised he head higher now it was like he was looking up. “Altair… sa…y g…ood…by…e to t…he w…orl…d.”

Altair growled at the comment he jumped at Balto aiming for his neck by having his head high his throat was open. Balto expression changed to the face seeing his father dead. The fangs busted into his neck, Balto felt himself slightly drown in his own blood.

Balto face grew even more sad the saddest face possible, what’s hurts the most is losing them from my life I know there alive this all I can do for you, my family, goodbye. I love you all so much. The blood in Balto’s throat grew even more. Balto brought his chin close to his chest I love you so much. Now he brought his jaws around the Altair’s throat, Balto made a dieing effort to kill Altair by using his own. They kept each other in this death-to-death grip for about a minute as they fell down. Balto’s face had the expression of sadness Altair’s was angry.

Balto felt himself fade away. Altair was happy at heart to die, to see his mate again, but Balto felt his life was cut off, by his own ignorance.

Procyon and Hector made to where Jenna and Cronos, and Cinder. Jenna was hurt badly, “Dang, that must hurt.” Hector commented as approached Jenna. Jenna didn’t answer she felt something wrong. Hector sniffed the air and rain the direction. Procyon went to Cronos.

“Hey you ok?” Procyon asked the pup. Cronos was shaking fiercely, “Hey!” Cronos moved he eyes he was crying. “Cronos?” he’s cold, but what’s up? Cronos seemed out of whack with the world. Procyon gave a worried face.

Procyon went over to Cinder. “Hey how you holding up.”

“They hurt mom!” He shouted at Procyon. Procyon sighed, he glanced over at Jenna she was barely awake. Beat her senseless.

Procyon nodded his head, “Yes they did, but that’s not what I’m going to do, we’re going to get her better.”

“Where’s dad?” Cronos quietly spoke. Procyon glanced at him.

“I don’t know, but will find him don’t worry.” Procyon looked away from Cronos and Cinder he’s gone, I’m sorry. Procyon got Jenna to her feet. And lead them to Hectors sent. Procyon stopped.

“Breath DARN YOU!” Hector shouted as he hits Balto’s body. “Breath! Breath!” Procyon stared in shock Altair was dead.

“Stop hitting him!” Cinder yelled as he ran over to Hector; Hector growled and hit Cinder aside.

“Shut up!” Hector hollered. Hector glanced over at the still burning log in the rain. Hector looked at the stick in Balto’s side. Hector had burning tears. “I lost you once I won’t lose
