some stared for a moment and left. Procyon met Atria they nudged each other. “Hey Atria. Told you I’d be fine.”

She sighed, “Not our guest.” Procyon shook his head confused. “Blood wraith got in from the back and got to Balto’s dens before he did, only one dead wolf is in there with him crying his soul out, the others invades where killed shortly but, there Blood wraith has gotten way.”

Procyon shook his head, “I need to see Balto.”

Atria looked at Procyon, “His family is still alive!” Procyon shouted as he ran off. He felt his heart pound I got you in this Balto and I’ll get you out! He made it to Balto’s den. He sighed as he approached he saw the dead wolf, “Balto!”

Balto turned his head, “It’s not your fault.” Procyon shook his head.

Procyon took a breath, “They’re not dead!” Balto ears moved up.

“How is that?” Balto was eager in his voice, but was still depressed.

Procyon was panting, “Blood Wraith doesn’t kill like that! He waits for you to show up before he will do anything to her or your pups.”

“Kills them when I arrive I guess then?” Balto answered as he got to his four.

“Not really not when I’m there.” Procyon panted.

“Why won’t he? Then?” Balto used his paws to wipe the tears way.

“Because I’ll be there he knows he can’t beat us both so he’ll have to give them back he knows he’s limits.” Procyon started to catch his breath.

Balto stopped as if he wasn’t going to help him. “Are you then?”

Procyon smiled as he finely caught his breath, “Yeah we are!” Procyon turned to the voice that answered for him.

Hector stood there “We help all in need to mountains to the fields to hell to-”

“We get it!” Procyon yelled out.

Balto didn’t really believe it but it was worth a try. Hector still couldn’t take it seriously. “Thanks.”

Procyon sighed, “I’m not lying.” Balto looked at him.

“I guess not. Do we leave now?” Balto asked tears still in his eyes.

Hector answered, “yep all the way there, I haven’t gotten my family some food so I don’t want to be home right now anyway.” Balto made a very small laugh.

The three started out by heading south were Blood Wraith, headed off to the direction Hector was the sniff patrol he sniffed everything in his way and the air. Procyon did the same Balto looked around and scratched some trees on the way.

Hector groaned, “Come out God damn you!”

Procyon swore, as they couldn’t find a trace of his sent.

Balto looked to the sky, he could see a white wolf staring at him. Balto looked away and then back, the wolf was gone. Balto shook his head.

Balto moved in that direction, Hector called out, “Where are you going?”

“This way.” Balto answered. Balto started in a run. Procyon followed. Hector sighed.

“This worth it to cuts.” Hector ran to follow “My cuts have ice in them now if you’re happy!” Hector was freezing cold. Balto couldn’t tell if he was cold or he could be hot he wouldn’t notice.

Balto took to the forest he looked around, mainly for the white wolf. Hector shoot up, “I find him! Right there.”

Procyon hit Hectors head.

“Idiot! Don’t give us away!” Procyon looked ahead he saw what he believed but feared, Blood wraith was with Altair. They turned in there discretion. Hector looked up.

Hector saw the skies where dark, “Great no sun to dawn our finding.” Hector said in mock pirate.

Balto looked at both of them, he looked around them franticly, “Where are they!” Balto screamed out.

Blood Shadow laughed, “O. So you know we didn’t kill them yet.”

Balto with out thinking charged after them. Procyon shouted after Balto, “Don’t!” Balto didn’t listen. Balto broke his course and ran to the side. He could smell Jenna now and ran for them, but he also smelt blood, he prayed they’d be ok.

Procyon started to run after but stopped he looked at Blood Shadow and Altair.

Blood Shadow scoffed, “Well there’s Procyon finish him off.”

Altair scoffed, “I don’t want to kill him. That half-breed is mine!” Altair made a run for Balto.

Procyon grunted, “No!” Hector saw the world go to a blur then fixed then blur again, then he felt incredible tired and felt fairly warm.

Blood Shadow stopped him, “I wouldn’t do that if I where you.” Procyon glared at Blood Shadow. Blood Shadow, “You should make your self look gay and save that friend of yours it looks dead from here.”

Procyon grunted and looked behind him, “No.” Hector was on the ground. “Curse you!” Procyon knew he had to get Hector warm now or he’d die. Balto…

Balto stopped as Altair jumped over him in front of him. “Hey now.” Balto stopped.

“Move!” Balto growled, he didn’t want anything to get in his way.

Altair smiled, “That’s it. You hate me, and that red dog, could make up for the son I lost.” Balto growled for fiercely. Altair smile grew bigger.

“That’s it Procyon would be dead now if it wasn’t for you and hunting down a wolf is dumb but you caused it so you’re the blame right? And that weak brown lower wolf, I think off a cliff now.” Balto felt himself shaking with anger he never hated someone so much. “The red one o yeah I think his gay.” Balto couldn’t take the insults anymore he jumped at Altair.

Altair lazily dodged it, “That’s it? I thought better…Hero.”

Balto growled again his blood was boiling. “Die!” Balto tried to hit Altair but Altair used his paw to hit Balto’s throat. Balto gagged, as he took a few steps back.

“I thought you’d be fine!” Altair yelled out jumping on Balto’s back forcing him to the ground. Balto growled but he felt the top of his neck daggers biting into it. “Come you want to see them right well die in front of them, I won’t do that I’ll let you pick the one I kill.” Balto felt himself being dragged he growled and tried to get out of his grip. His only thought was to kill this wolf.

Balto growled louder, “Let go!”

Altair laughed, “Why?” Balto got his four on the ground and pushed of, Altair kept his grip. Not again! Balto screamed in his mind. Balto jumped again Balto turned his head letting the fangs of Altair slash his neck. Balto escaped the grip.

Balto panted and whimpered he snarled, Altair scoffed, “I’m I supposed to be impressed or something?” Balto panted some more calm down. Balto stopped growling. He took a breath.

Balto took a breath can’t let him get to you. “Altair what did you do to them.” Don’t react to his wolf.

“She’s tossing and turning groaning my name.” Altair remarked. Balto dug his claws in the dirt. Don’t listen! Balto calmed himself. He’s lying so cool down Balto.

“Shut up.” Balto quickly shoot back at Altair. “What’s your real name anyway?”

“Oh so demanding, first to shut then open. I guess its true hybrids are unpredictable.” Altair spoke with a smile. Balto knew he was the one losing badly. Calm down but this burning is driving me mad! Balto had a burning feeling, it started when Altair insulted his family, and it wasn’t leaving.

Altair noticed Balto’s dug in paws in the snow. “Well no what’s the matter no winning. Having a burning rage, unable to quench. Fool!” Altair attacked Balto, Balto was far too slow to block a hit; Balto became glad he wanted him to suffer. So he could think, Altair could easily get his throat if he wanted to. Darn’ it all! I can’t think with this forced moving and pain! Balto felt a paw dug into his throat as he fell down rolling as he went.

“What’s the matter wolf! Yes wolf! I see in your eyes the burning you want to kill me don’t you? The wolf is awake use it! I want a strong fight not this beating a, a stick it’s boring.” Altair scoffed at Balto as it took him three tries to get to his four.

“Boring this isn’t boring some dieing to get their family safe, is boring is it?” Balto managed to say though his pain.

“Yes it is. I lost my own so I know how it feels don’t give me ‘do want that pain to go on’ thing.” Altair scolded. Balto smiled.

“You’re smart but I won’t.” Balto said as he took a step forward. Altair frowned.

“Your pathetic just like your father and mother, they should know that dogs and wolf couldn’t be together, what a shame.” Altair smiled as turned his back to Balto. Felt his burning burn hotter.

“Shut up…” Balto silently spoke as he took another step. Altair started to walk away, from Balto.

“Your too
