"Hey girls whats going on? Leave him alone.." The three mares snickered and started their way toward her.

"Why should we?" Phili said.

"Well, first off you mare don't even hang out with each other, and you are with the stallion, so.."

             Tayula looked behind Phili at Embross whom was just back there and watchiong. She sighed as she looked back at Phili and the other two mares as Phili spoke.

"Yeah, well, he is new and I just wanted to get to know him!" Phili said as her tail lifted. Embross attempted to turn his head but stepped forward. it was too hard to resist and he managed with guilt to walk away. Tayula felt some what relieved not cause he would be in trouble if he did mate but cause she would have felt a little Jealous.

"Oh, well, um...Ok." She was in trouble now. She was about to be attacked by a thousand pound animals and not a playful attack. No yeah getting closed in a corner by one horse wasn't that bad but three horses about to kick out at you was death! She gasped as he back hit the board fence and slipped through it as they began to kick. She growled and gasped with relief. Embross wouldn't be innocent with those mares for long and for all she knew the mares would break down the fence. So with that she was off to get help.

            Tayula barked as she jumped up on her master motioning for him to follow. it took not too long for him to follow and when he did they wer off. She showed him the stallion and the mares. He gasped understanding what she was saying. he needed to get the mares up and get the stallion up too. The stallion went with a little trouble and was the first to be put up and was put in a different stall, and not by the one with Phili in it.

"Well, well, well. Lookie who it is!" snorted Masy as she tried to kick at her. Tayula pinned her ears as she hurried through the barn way. He walked and soon reached Embross' stall and smiled barking at him.

"Hello there!" She called out to him. Embross perked his ears and turned around reaching his head out to nuzzle her nose. She smiled at his touch and closed her eyes but then reopened them when she thought about how bad it looked. she pulled away.

"Thanks back there." Embross said as he sighed. Tayula raised an eyebrow and wondered why he had sighed.

"I know you regret walking away but you did the right thing." Tayula assured him and nuzzled his muzzle. Though some what in the shadows Macon was there. He had gotton the wrong idea but walked out to interrupt the moment.

"Hey there Tayula, care to join me for dinner?" he asked as he walked around her. Tayula smiled but felt a little odd at the suddeness of Macon's affection. She nodded and looked at Embross.

"I guess I'll see you later." Embross said as he looked at her then away. She nodded once more and got up and began to walk with Macon. 'Why did macon do that? He must have known I was talking with Embross.' She thought as she walked with him.

                  About A Month Later

          i had been about a month since the new arrival of the stallion and Tayula and Embross had been hanging out more then a dog and a stallion should. Macon did have his time with her but he thought that it clearly wasn't enough so he would interupt Embross's and Tayula's conversation to ask her out, and she would always say was with disapointment. For Macon was Jealous...

"Hey Tayula!" Macon said as he ran up to her. To his surprise she wasn't with Embross where he had gone to search for her at. Tayula smiled as she turned around.

"hey what are you doin?" she asked as she walked to him. Macon wanted to ask her a big question but would wait till later that night.

"Well, just wondering if you wanted to hang out later tonight." he offered waiting for her reply. She nodded but then spoke a question a demon dared to ask.

"What is it with you?" She siad looking him straight in the eye. He shook his head and seemed to look confused.

"Tayula sweety what do you mean?" He asked as he looked back up at her. She glared at him but kept cool.

"Nevermind." She sighed. "I'll meet you tonight, where?" She asked as Macon smiled. He told her the time and they departed. he satified, he only sighing wondering why he wanted to go and hang out with her every night now. She didn't know but she went straight to Embross's stall and barked to him.

"Hey there!" he said smirking down at her. "Haven't seen you today." he said his voice lowering. Tayula sighed and sat down. She really did like him, but not like a friend but more then a friend and she felt that he felt the same for her. Though she knew the relationship would never work out. A horse and a dog together. 'Yeah what ever I would be banned' she thought as she looked into his brown eyes. "Yeah well, I saw your little boyfriend today." Embross teased waiting for her reaction. Tayula pawed at his muzzle but then asked if he had said anyhting to Embross. Embross shook his head and sighed.

"You seem troubled Tayula." Embross asked a little worried for her. He reached his head back down and nuzzled her softly. She smiled a little and nuzzled him back.

"It's just Macon. He won't let us finish a conversation with out having to ask me out. I'm meeting him tonight.." She explained. He nodded and then spoke.

"If you don't want to go why don't you stay with me.." Embross offered. "I'll be in the pasture tonight, all be myself." He finished smiling a bit. Tayula sighed but liked his offer.

"I'll go but if it doesn't turn out great then I'll come back and stay with you." Tayula said walking away with out saying good-bye. He knew she was going to come back.

           It was later that night and Tayula sat upon the hill waiting for Macon to show up. She waiting about five more minutes and Macon came into view it was about sunset and he showed up with roses in his mouth. Tayula smiled and greeted him with a nuzzle.

"Here are some roses for the pretty girl." Macon said smiling at her. She giggled slightly and took the roses from him and set them on the ground beside her. "So..." Tayula looked at him.

"You the one that asked me out." She said smiling at him. Macon smiled and nonned to her. She was right he was the one that asked her out.

"I wanted to ask you a question." Macon said. Tayula forced a smile and stared at him. "Will you..be my..m-mate?" He asked. Tayula's jaw almost dropped but she managed to hold it up. She wanted to scream no to him but she held her breathe as he did his. She wanted so much to run to Embross and nuzzle him and run away with him. She didn't want to hurt Macon's feelings but she didn't love him.

"Uh..Macon I'm sorry but I have to go!" She whispered horasly as she rushed off. Tears stung at her eyes as she hurried towards the pasture and she jumped the fence. She ran to find where her Embross was and ran into him. Embross stepped back in shock.

"What's going on Tayula?" He asked as he nuzzled her neck. He felt the warm tears and nuzzled them away. Tayula sighed and looked up at him resting against his leg.

"Well, Macon..he..he Asked me to be his m-mate.." Tayula answered looking up at him. Embross laid down and she laid with him. He knew what the answer had been and knew that Macon wasn't happy. "What do I do Macon?" Tayula asked as she looked at him with hoping eyes.

"Well, all I can say is to wait it out and go day by day Tayula." He said nuzzling her. He laid his head down and she rested her too wating for the next day.

        Though as Tayula slept..something happened..she was having a dream about being turned into a horse. She shook and shook then she was fine,but she felt heavier and colder. She opened her eyes and it was morning. Though she squinted and found herself on the outskirts of her barn and she got up not thinking about last night. She sighed and opened her eyes once more. She felt higher off the ground. She sighed once more as she remembered last nights events and she walked to a little stream and lowered her head, eyes closed she slowly took a drink of the cool water. Then she opened her eyes. She gasped when she saw what she was looking at. "I'ma..a..horse?" She wondered as she looked in the stream. She was a paint. Her cheek was a red and she was a silver. She gasped and walked towards the entrance of the farm. she would walk in and shock everyone...
