Sidka all over again………….

 

“Weeks and weeks go by and they just keep growing and growing how will we ever keep up sidka” explains Tala “we will do fine lets just enjoy them while we have got them three more weeks and they will be finding new homes” says sidka.

 

“muma” screams artic “ice has my toy again and she wont give it back tell her to give it back mum” “now now ice please give artic her toy back its not nice to steal” Tala says in a very motherly voice.

“Fine…” says ice, “are you two going with your father, blaze and storm when they get back or are you staying here” asks Tala.

 

“we are going with dad” explains ice just as they where about to get ready sidka walks thought the door “hey kids you guys ready to go” “yes dad” says artic “good then im taking you guys out on your first trek im the woods today and then a pit stop at the beach after wards” “great lets go dad” says blaze “have a good time and don’t get into to much trouble” says Tala “we will be fine Hun see you soon” explains Sidka.

 

“so dad why are we going to the woods anyway” asks ice in a concerned voice, “we aren’t going to the woods kids that’s just so your mother doesn’t worry to much we are going to a much cooler place but its further away which is why I said we where going to the beach two we are going to where I grew up way over the other side of the forest” “but dad what happens if mum comes down to the beach and see we aren’t their wont she be mad” asks storm “ohh she would be furious but I got dipsy to pre occupied her for a while after all having you guys around hasn’t left her with much time to gossip about the town and catch up with the latest news so that’s already covered” explains sidka.

 

About an half an hour had passed they had almost gotten to the other side of the woods when sidka hears something in the bushes “kids stop stay low to the ground and don’t make a noise” sidka whispers, a rustling in the bushes directs his attention to a large rock, from behind the rock a shadowy creature moves as fast as light its gone and then another rustling “SIDKA” yells

 

Blue “your back” “BLUE its you” yells sidka “I cant believe your back I thought you would never return since you have been with that city girl” “that city girl has a name Tala and I said I would visit I just have been a little busy with things” sidka explains “what could be more important than visiting ur best friend” blue asks.

 

“well I haven’t just been thinking of my self lately I have others not just Tala to care for now” “what you mean like pups hahahahah what a joke, The mighty sidka with pups hahaha you crack me up” Blue says “its true blue kids come on you don’t have to hide any more threes no danger here” the four pups run straight to their father and hide under him “who is that” blaze says being the bravest “its m best friend in the whole world kids meet Blue we have been pals for as long as I can remember” “hi Blue all the pups say” “oh my god its true what the city life must to do you alwell hi kids”.

 

Blue invites the pups to come visit their dads old den and the cave where his pack lives on the way their they meet a lot of relatives and friends of their fathers but time goes by fast and blaze is the only one that remembers that they should have left hours ago summing up enough courage

to tell his dad he runs over to him “dad its time to go mum will be wondering what happened to us and its getting late” “you right blaze we had better go it’s a long way back I guess the cat is out of the bag and we will have to tell your mother well guys id love to stay and chat but I got to get back to the misses ill try and visit soon.

 

Blue insists that he goes with them to make sure they get home safe and asks larkaa to come with them larkaa being his mate it seemed like a good thing for them to all meet so they set off into the dark night to go back to the town.

 

Mean while Tala is at home waiting in the barn although she already knows that they went to the forest and not to the woods she is still worried because it is so late. Just as she decides to go out and look for them they all arrive at the door “hey Tala im sorry…” “Don’t bother dipsy already told me and im not mad” says Tala.

 

The pups fall asleep and chatter creeps into the night dawn comes and the two couples are still chatting about old times, but when sun up comes blue realizes that he should make a start home “we should really be getting home today is hunting day and they need all the help they can get out their we hope you visit soon guys and keep us in contact about the pups” “we will” says Tala.

 

Sidka and blue say their goodbye’s and walk’s them to the city limit. On his way back he notices that there’s a sign on the town hall wall it says “as to the new government rule all wolf and/or part wolf dogs will be treated as a threat and are not to be trusted or brought from anyone, shocked sidka runs home to tell Tala of this terrible news.

 

Also shocked that this was the new rule they seek more information on this with the town gossip girl dipsy, on their way into town the towns people avoided contact and walk away keeping their children away from skid and Tala, “what’s going on here sidka why are people afraid of us”says Tala “because of who we are this town doesn’t except us and don’t like wolfs” explains sidka.

 

After getting all the gossip from Dipsy they are shocked again its seems that wolf’s and anything to do with them are being totally abandoned and not wanted in the town sidka and Tala go back to the barn to think about all this mess and just how they can fix it.

 

Silence fills the barn as Tala and sidka find nothing to say, the pups come home and are curious to know what is going on, “listen kids your going to no about this soon so I might aswell tell you now ur part wolf and as a new law the towns people have been told things that just aren’t true horrible things that never happen, “I no its scary but we cant stay here much longer you guys look more wolf that I do and humans don’t like that, if you think it was hard before its going to be twice as worse now I know its going to be hard staying here until we find somewhere else to go but we have got to hang in their” Sidka explains is a sad and low voice.

 

Blaze takes it well but arctic storm and ice aren’t as confident that it will all work out, scared that they will have to leave their home all they know the pups devise a plan but when sidka confines them to a small part of the barn the plan is forgotten and their main aim is to stay hidden. Blaze comes up with an idea and escapes from the barn, unaware of his escape sidka and Tala arrange a town animal meeting to see what the latest news is.

 

Blaze sets out to find help and his only idea is to go back to the other side of the woods, Amazingly he finds his way their with no problem, after what seemed like hours of walking he finally reaches the cave where he had visited before.

“Larkaa hey do you no where my dads friend blue is I really need to talk to him it’s urgent” Blaze says “Blaze what are you doing here and your all alone you could have been hurt out their never take that journey again where’s sidka why didn’t he stop you what’s going on?” Larkaa says with a very worried voice “Dad doesn’t know im here I snuck out and it’s really important that I speak to Blue I think he’s the only one that can help us” “howwwwwlllllllllllllllllll” Larkaa barks which scares Blaze “hoooooowwwwllllllllllll”.

 

Blue is there in a flash “what’s wrong he says in a concerned voice “what’s going on…blaze is that you what are you doing here all alone??????” after telling them the whole story about the new law Blaze asks Blue if he would try and convince Sidka into leaving the town and going to live with the pack. “im not so sure that’s a good idea you see its different out here blaze food doesn’t come out of a can and there is no lights or heaters or blankets and no family’s to go to when your older its just to different it would be to hard on you guys” explains Blue trying to make Blaze see sense.

 

“that’s the thing we cant go to family’s it just wont work this new law wont let anyone buy wolfs and they wont except and dog with even a little bit of wolf in them, we look more like pure wolfs than you do no one their will accept us their but you will, ur our only chance please help us” Blaze asks.

 

“Ok, ok, ok Ill try and talk to sidka, but we had better get you back they have to know by now where you are” Says Blue finaly giving up.

 

After a long walk they arrive at the town limits and are faced with huge barb wire fences with signs saying no wolf’s aloud, its just as bad as they thought and worse on the way into town things seemed to not get any better and as for the friends they once had well it seemed like a memory, house windows closed people running inside at the sight of them “its just plain sad”
