Revenge Is My Name Part 1

Rachen awoke with a start as he stretched himself in the morning light, for the past week he had been dreaming of a darkness coming for him and he in his dreams has seen his very soul stolen away. Rachen looked out over the valley in which he and the remnants of other packs had sought refuge in. Rachen thought of his dead mate Gardez everyday and missed her deeply, just then Rez one of the pups he had saved walked up to him.

Rez had grown into a fine young wolf this the characteristics of his late father Progue being even more apparent each day. Rez looks at Rachen and says “whats up” Rachen turns and says “nothing” he turns away, Rez senses something is wrong he walks next to him and stares into Rachen’s eyes and says “tell me.” Rachen says “something is coming” Rez says “what” Rachen shrugs and replies ‘I don’t know but whatever it is, it is bad” Rez says “oh well whatever it is we can handle it.”

Some days later Rachen and the pack in the valley continued to hear about the humans slaughtering their fellow wolves. Rachen could feel the darkness penetrating his heart and sucking the life from his body, he felt as though all the goodness in him was being shoved out of him. Rez and Bien began to sense and notice the differences in their friend one day Rez and Bien walked towards Rachens cave and found him laying in the dirt covered in sweat. Rez rushed up to Rachen and nuzzled him saying “Rachen… RACHEN” his eyes remained closed. Bien stood at her brothers side and she noticed a wolf standing against the far wall he had red cruel eyes his fur was jet black, the breath emitted from his mouth was putrid. She looked back from him to Rachen and saw what seemed to be his soul rising from his body. She jumped onto Rachen and felt his soul go through her body she then bound her soul to his and looked at the wolf and say “you will not take him” the wolf laugh and disappeared. Rachen awoke after the evil wolf disappeared and said “what happened” Bien says “I dunno” Rachen feel asleep, Bien kept her soul bound to his after that awaiting the evil wolf to appear again but little did she know that her and Rachens world were about to be turned upside down.
