Those three little words

“If you know what’s good for you, you’ll stay in your place.” I wolf snarled. Adolpha watched as the Beta stood over the omega.

“I-I’m sorry I meant no offence.” The beta didn’t answer instead he growled. “Have merci.” The omega pleaded

“That’s ok B.J. I’ll take it from here.” The alpha male said. Adolpha ducked behind a bush she was a beta but she and the alpha didn’t see eye to eye.

The beta growled at the omega and backed off. The alpha nodded. This is my chance. Adolpha thought, she darted out from behind the bush and in front of B.J.

B.J. stopped “Uh…can I help you Adolpha?”

“Uh…I saw you and the omega.” She laughed sarcastically “Real kick-but attitude.” B.J. smirked

Adolpha stopped Real kick-but attitude? She thought I like it. Adolpha couldn’t help but show her feelings for B.J. he was flawed yes, but he was also respectable and kind. Adolpha was a tomboy but the things that B.J. did made her dainty.

She looked around the scenery was beautiful. There was a tree here and there along with mountains and hills, pack members and plenty of snow. The best part was that there were no humans for miles.

“A B.J. wait up.” She called.

“Wha?” B.J. said as he turned. Adolpha ran up to him but heard birds chirping and turned her head but remained running. She ran into B.J. the she-wolf fell back in the snow.

“Are you ok?” B.J. asked

“Yah.” Adolpha laughed she got up and shook off the snow. “I’m sorry.”

“Don’t worry about it. I think girls with the attention span on a squirrel are funny.” B.J. joked

Adolpha chuckled she didn’t know if that was a complement for not.

“I’m just joking.” B.J. said “I think you very smart.” He nuzzled her. Adolpha just sat there confused and excited her mouth was open in a silent yell. B.J. laughed. A smile grew on her face.

“So do you like me?” She asked happily. B.J opened his mouth to talk but was interrupted by another beta she-wolf, Egypt.

“Hey B.J.” She said. She leaned her body against his and smiled. B.J. had a shocked expression on his face.

“Uh…hi.”

“Do you want to go for a walk?”

“No thanks.” B.J. said

“Oh come on.” She begged. Egypt was always good at playing matchmaker; most of it was for her.

“Err…Ok” B.J. was getting frustrated with her. “I’ll see yah around Adolpha.”

“Bye.” Adolpha whimpered. What the heck! She thought what a sleazy tramp!

She saw Egypt turn her head and smile greedily. Adolpha bared her teeth and pounced on Egypt. She cried out and kicked Adolpha off of her.

“What is your problem!?” Egypt asked

“Guys stop it!” B.J. barked. Egypt and Adolpha didn’t listen instead they started circling each other; one’s eye never left the other.

“What’s the matter Egypt?” Adolpha snarled

“B.J. is mine.” Egypt barked. What and idiot she completely disregarded my question. Adolpha thought

“Every brute is yours.” Adolpha growled “You tramp!”

Egypt stopped for a second then snarled and pounced on Adolpha. Adolpha bit Egypt’s neck and kicked her off. Egypt flew forward with Adolpha still holding on. Egypt cried out in pain and fell.

“Knock it off!” B.J. barked

Adolpha let go and slammed her paw on Egypt’s head. Growling Adolpha looked into Egypt’s eyes. They burned into hers. Egypt jumped at Adolpha but missed. Adolpha had a sever advantage. All those fighting skills she learned do to growing up next to town. This is ridicules. Adolpha thought. Adolpha turned and walked away. Egypt leaped for Adolpha but B.J. got in the way.

B.J. stood over Egypt

“That’s enough!” he growled “Come on Adolpha.” The two walked to his den.

“I’m sorry for the trouble.” B.J. apologized and lay down on the den floor. Adolpha walked up to him.

“It’s not your fault.” She said she sat down next to him. B.J. sat up and put his paw around her.

“I’m proud of you for walking away.” He started “I takes the bigger person to walk away and don’t forget it.”

Adolpha smiled “I won’t.”

The two lay down beside one another. B.J. put his head on Adolpha’s neck and Adolpha rested her head on B.J’s front leg. There can be miracles she thought if you believe.

“Adolpha?”

“Yes?”

“Will you be my mate?”

Adolpha smiled “Of course.”

B.J. smiled as well “I love you” Adolpha couldn’t believe it. She just heard those three little words that everyone longs to hear.

“I love you to.” She whispered

The two fell asleep piece fully.
