shocked.
“I’m a tomboy at heart.” I laughed. Her pushed me on my back and stood over me.
He yawned.
“You know I’m feeling a bit tired.” He said he kept getting closer and closer to me. Soon we were touching. My eyes widened.
“Get off of me!” I snarled. He began shifting his body and pushing me deeper and deeper into the hey. There was nothing I could do. He had friends sitting on nearby bales of hey.
“Listen to me and I wont kill you.” He said “first I don’t want you crying out or struggling. Second I don’t want you telling anyone about this. Lastly I don’t want to see you with any other guys after this.”
I nodded my head. I was crying. I could feel his heart on mine.
“Good.” He said He started licking my muzzle. He told his friends to leave and they did.
CHAPTER 5 Storm
I walked around town and saw some dogs leave a barn. I ran over to it making sure I wasn’t caught. I heard crying in there. I looked up and saw an opening. I climbed up some crates and boxes to get there. I looked in and saw a wolf being raped.
I jumped onto the barn and landed on a narrow ledge.
I walked around the ledge and saw the wolf’s markings. It was my sister! Adolpha.
I jumped down and started snarling at the male dog. He paid no mind to me. I ran towards him and bit his shoulder and pulled him off my sister. He looked shocked. He turned his head to me and snarled.
“How dare you.” I said my eyes flickered over to Adolpha she had rolled off her back and onto her side. She was crying and probably felt embarrassed. My eyes flickered back over to the male dog. He was running for me. I fled for a second. Then turned around and bit his ear.
He whimpered and snapped at me. I swiped and hit him. He flew over a few feet and was knocked out.
I walked over to his victim. She didn’t turn to me.
“Are you ok?” I asked she turned to me and gasped.
“Storm?” I nodded my head.
“That’s…That’s impossible.” She said. I smiled and a tear of joy ran down from my eye and onto my muzzle. I could see that Adolpha was opening her mouth to talk but was stopped by the male dog groaning and trying to get up. I looked over my shoulder and saw him.
“Go!” I said. Adolpha got up.
“I won’t leave here with max.” She said
“Don’t worry about me. Just get as far from here as possible.” I began walking towards Max but was stopped by Adolpha’s voice
“Will we see each other again?” I looked back and said in a soft sad voice.
“I don’t know.” Adolpha left after I said that.
CHAPTER 6 Adolpha
I ran out of the barn hastily. I never got the chance to thank her for saving me. But one thing was for sure, she was my sister. I went to go wash off then start heading home.
“Mother? Father?” I called I walked into the den and Looked around.
No one… It was late and they were probably out on a late night walk.
I lay down and began thinking. Thinking about my rescuer. The more and more I though about it the more I though she couldn’t be my sister, but a random wolf that happened to help me.
I shrugged it off and began drifting in and out of sleep. I didn’t get much sleep that night. After a few hours I heard a scream. My head jerked up. I walked out of the den and looked around. I was surprised to see that the sun was just starting to rise. I almost never wake up this early.
I heard the scream again. I looked around and something caught my eye. It was a bear attacking something. My mother! I ran towards the bear and was ready to leap. But I stopped in my tracks. The bear stopped its attack and looked at me. This bear was a tallest bear standing on its back legs that I have ever seen. Its eyes burned into mine. They were white with no iris or pupils.
Its face began to look worried. After a few minutes it walked away as if nothing had happened.
I ran over to my mother’s body. She was dieing.
“Mother!” I sat beside her.
“Where’s father?”
“I don’t know.” Mother said. She died there within minutes. I looked up. My sadness turned into anger. The second family I had lost to this killer! I howled. I got up and walked around I didn’t know were I was going or why all I knew was that it was just me.
2 months later
CHAPTER 7 Storm
I walked around in the snowy wilderness. I have killed nine people in the last two months. I was full of scars but didn’t mind. I thought about how I helped my sister that night. I couldn’t get the look of her face out of my head. Scared, offended, how she desperately wanted to help me.
The bushes moved. I looked back hoping that it was a squirrel or quail. I walked over to it cautiously. When I got over to the bush something cut me. It was a human! These no good scums were always trying to hunt me. Or anyone for that matter. I jumped at the human and killed it easily.
My tenth kill. I was about to walk away when something caught my attention. A necklace it was beautiful. I picked it up in my jaws and swung it over my head.
I turned too walked away but I was pounced on. The figure stood over me with its teeth bared.
“Adolpha?” I asked
She looked shocked
“Storm?” She backed up; I stood up and shook the snow off.
“I’m sorry I didn’t recognize you without the-”
“Scars? I know.” I said.
“Yelp, yah.” She said I walked away and sat down. She walked over to me and sat down.
“Hey, I didn’t mean it like that.”
“It’s ok” I said “Do you think we are true sisters? Like blood related.”
“Don’t know I mean I’ve had dreams about having three other sisters… and we knew each others names.”
“I’ve been having dreams too.”
“Yah, Hey I’m hungry lets go to town.” Adolpha said as she started to walk off.
“What does town have to give us?”
“Have you been to the meat market?” She asked while starting to run.
“No.” I said catching up to her.
We got to town and she led me to the meat market. She led me to a hole underground.
“C’mon.” she whispered “But stay quiet.” The tunnel led us to the freezer.
“Why isn’t it cold in here?”
“The freezer broke a long time ago.” She said while browsing the meat. “But the manager is too stupid to notice.” The freezer door opened and the manager came in with a butcher knife. Adolpha didn’t notice.
“Adolpha!” I exclaimed she looked over by the door and saw the butcher. He was walking over to us.
“Run!” she shouted. She grabbed some mutton and we ran. He came storming out the back door and started yelling at us. We just kept running. We sat down on a hill. You could see everything from up here.
For some reason Adolpha busted out laughing. I joined her. She lay down and enjoyed her sheep’s meat. I had some but I had to get used to the taste of sheep.
“Look.” She was lying on her back looking up at the sky. I looked up and saw a beautiful site. The auroras.
“Storm.”
“Yes”
“I...Uh never got the chance to thank you for saving me from max.”
“No problem. I’ve got your back.” I said.
“And I’ve got yours”
CHAPTER 8 Adolpha
From that night on we were best of friends. I couldn’t have wished for a better sister. But one day it fell apart.
A wounded wolf came to us in need.
“You got to help our pack.”
“Why what’s wrong?” Storm asked
“A bear has attacked your pack and we need you both.”
“Why us?” I asked
“Your part of a prophecy.” He said
“A prophecy?”
“Yes! Aniu and Tsunami need you.”
A smile on mine and Storm’s faces grew. But quickly faded. The poor wolf was dead and we didn’t know were they were.
“C’mon lets go!” Storm said happily.
“Storm.” I said
“What?” she asked. I hesitated the opened my mouth to speak but I was cut off.
“You don’t think they’re alive do you?”
I shook my head to say “no”
“I don’t believe you.” She said
“Storm I-”
“What if they are alive?!” She exclaimed.
“Listen to me.”
“No, you sound just like my adopted mother!” She said. I couldn’t believe it; we were both acting like pups.
“I’m going to find them!” She said and ran off.
“Storm!” I called. She didn’t stop nor did she call back.
Night fell and I couldn’t sleep. I was thinking that Storm was right I walked to her den. No one was their. I sniffed around and finally caught her scent. I set off to help my sister!
CHAPTER 9 Storm
It has been a three days trip. I was cold and tired but anything to find my two other sisters again. I heard something prowling behind me. Thinking it would go away I continued on. After a while the gap was closing between me and what ever it was following me.
I looked behind me and a cougar pounced at me. I dodged out of the way. It fell then got up.
It pounced at me again I stood frozen, who ever knew of such a powerfully and determined animal. I closed my eyes and heard a thump. Thinking I was dead I opened them slowly. Adolpha was looking at its limp
