Yawning Raina slowly opened her eyes at the hit of daylight dripping through a hole in the cave wall. Stretching her body as she stood,. Her long white body twisted and came to life. She was a rather large white werewolf. The queen of the race. A pair of White wings unfolded from her torso and elongated seizing the new day.

Glancing down her eyes fell upon the figure that lay asleep next to her. Her mate and king as a result of there partnership. BaltoFriend was her second in command, but a war that previous fall had brought them closer then anyone had expected.

Raina smiled and left letting his rest. She walked to the opening of the pack cave and sat in the cliff overlooking the entirety of there territory. The smell of morning dew tickled her nose and she took a deep breath welcoming all that might happen.

Below the cliff she could see a few scouts heading out for the morning shift. Nodding as one of them bowed up to her she gave him a good morning and good luck gesture. Then a familiar scent caught her attention. Turning to face him BF grinning. “Why didn’t you wake me?” He moved closer and nuzzled her. “You where so cute all curled up like that” She teased “I did not want to ruin such a site.” Growling playfully he tackled and pinned her. “My love you know its all for you.” Raina laughed as she pushed him off. “My love” she said “you know I … “

Just then a crash came from inside the cave and the both jumped to there feet, the moment lost. Rushing back into the cave they soon saw the origin of the interruption. A young werewolf lay there on the floor tangled in hunting nets. Embarrassed she looked up at them and the other wolves forming a ring around her. “Apricot” Raina said. “What are you doing my dear?” Apri looked at Raina and lowered her ears while trying to stand. “I.. I .. i’m just clumsy I guess.” She removed the nets and giggled trying not to blush at the expressions on the others faces.

A few hours later BF had left on a trip to talk to the scouts and Raina was back at the cave going over a treaty with the bear clan, just north of there boundaries. While she was working one of her guards approached and spoke. “M.’lady there is a … stray here to see you.” Riana’s eyes shot open and the guard jumped back. “you let a stray in my cave?” She snarls at him and stormed out of the room and into the main hall. Her eyes feel upon a smaller female surrounded by 6 guards. Kodiack the head guard bowed and said. “her name is WhiteWolfBalto. She came looking for a protection.”

Circling the newcomer Raina Sniffed taking in the scent. She’s definitely not a threat Raina thought noticing the lack of muscle normally associated with royal pack members. “Are you sure she is not a spy?” Kodi nodded. “No my queen we found her wandering the forest. She had no idea where she was.” Raina sighed. “Keep her in a cell until my mate comes back. We will discuss it together.” With that Raina walked off turning her back to the guards and WWB.

Is someone hurt.. ? ” Smiling she kissed his nose. “Calm down my dear.” She side stepped him. “Its just a stray looking for a pack.” BF’s body went ridged.. ‘Was it female?” “yes” Raina said.. “how did you know that?” Bf Looked at Raina.. “A scout was killed today by an unknown female werewolf.” A snarl spread across BF’s face. “take me to her”
