The tale of two…………………..

One morning Tala is out and about looking for Balto and Jenna, mum Tala calls where are you, im in here tala calls back Jenna hey mum I have been out all morning looking for dad have you seen him, yes he has been with kodi all morning on the beach, thanks mum see you later, tala runs down to the beach sniffing her way to her father and brother “tala there you are me and kodi are going out for a while im teaching him how to hunt, so will you be fine here for a while borris is out with muk and luk but should be home soon, “ill be fine dad have fun guys see you later” “you sure you don’t want to come” “no im fine here ill just go for a walk along the beach until borris gets back” “ok then see ya” it doesn’t take tala long to wonder off into the woods and go looking for something to do bored and curious she ends up in a part of the woods she has never been to before she stop and sniffs the air and she can smell an leering aroma as she gets closer to this smell she hears something in the bushes near where she is standing “hey ive never seen you before my names sidka whets yours?” surprised all she could blurt out is “ummm im ta-ta-ta-la” ta-ta-ta-la that’s an interesting name “its actually just tala I just wasn’t expecting anyone to be this far out hehe only wolfs and small creatures life out in this primitive forest” “is their something wrong with wolf’s?” “no I guess not actually im half wolf I guess living all the way out here would be great no one to judge you and you wouldn’t have to pretend your not a wolf because your different but the other dogs around my place are not so keen on wolfs or me being one well half one. “there is nothing wrong with being half either at least you can live in that world one look at me and humans and dogs would run I was surprised that you didn’t run and the scared face is normally what I get any way so im use to it just because im a wolf doesn’t mean that im a man hungry killer” “so Sidka whets out here what do you do for fun” “there’s a whole bunch of things to do but nothing as fun as in the city like you would do” said sidka as they wondered off into the night. After two weeks of secret visits and moonlit walks in town and in the forest it was pretty clear that they liked each other every night tala would sneak out and meet him in a secret place that only they new about, “hey sorry im late” “no problem so where are we going tonight” reply’s sidka “im not sure lets just go look for an adventure”. They spent hours in town having some fun and then went down to the beach. “its beautiful tonight inset it tala says, yeah sidka reply’s I had better go it’s a long way back through the forest and its getting late” why not stay at my place tonight dad doesn’t come home till late afternoon so you will be fine” “as long as I wont get you into trouble says sidka” “you wont we can go before anyone even notices”. Morning came and Balto woke up eirerly, normally he doesn’t go home until after lunch but he wanted to check on tala on his way into the barn where tala normally sleeps he catches a scent of a strange dog after a few more seconds he realizes its coming from the barn and its no dog scent it’s a wolf he crashes through the door snarling with teeth bared and he is faced with a sidka and tala curled up together sidka is first up quickly standing over tala to protect her “no sidka don’t its my dad” “your dad! Oh Sh*# He quickly backs down im so sorry I didn’t know” “dad its not what you think he’s just a friend” balto just says nothing and turns to the door like a flash he is gone “that wasn’t what I was expecting but it was better than I thought it would go down I just done see why he came home so early and why he didn’t say anything says tala. “Maybe he was surprises I know I would be if I was him”. Three weeks went by Tala and Balto still haven’t spoken awcword silence as always was lingering in the air tala and sidkas relationship has grown stronger and they where thinking of being more than just good friends although Balto didn’t approve at all Jenna loved the idea of her daughter going out with a handsome wolf after all she fell in love with balto at a young age aswell. In fear of his grandchildren being baged and shun by humans and dogs because they would look even more like wolfs Balto threaten en’s Sidka “if you ever come near my daughter again their will be consequences to pay and they wont nice I don’t want to see my daughter get hurt and shun upon because of her taste canine’s” “sidka being twice as large as balto sent first to back down” looking discusded sidka says “I would never hurt her and who are you to judge wolf’s ur part wolf to or are we forgetting that don’t try and push me away because im not going anywhere if you cared about your daughter you would have never kept her from her wolf heritage its not me that’s the problem here” surprised that sidka would even stand up to him he turns and walks away. Months have passed and tala and balto hardily have spoken to each other, Jenna finds it hard to spend family time together and is broken hearted that balto is so pig headed, she finds time to ask balto why he is so against their growing relationship “why cant you just be happy for them and let them be happy Jenna asks with tear’s in her eyes “because I want what it best for tala and a pure wolf is not right for her” “that’s like saying we should never have fallen in love how can you say that its exactly what we did and you where more than fine with that who cares about what other people think its what matters inside that counts you of all should know that with tears rolling down her fury cheeks she runs out. The next day in town sidka and tala are going for a walk and happen to run into balto and kodi. Not wanting to get in the way kodi walks away and leaves this hard situation, after a few moments of staring tala get’s enough courage to say something to her father “ why do you hate sidka what has he ever done to you” “I don’t hate sidka im sure he’s a good guy but he’s not right for you think of the future think about what the humans and others in the town will say if you ever had pups, even now the looks and rumors that are around because of him are bad what will happen when you have pups, what happens when you get a human family like Jenna’s they will never except him or your pups its just not right you have to face it you cant have it both ways no matter how much you care for him its not going to work it just cant” “you and mum made it work and the town gave you a chance why cant we have that same thing” tala says “because he’s a pure wolf explains balto he doesn’t have dog in him its not the same I saved the town they had a reason to give me a chance there is no reason for him I know its hard but it just wont ever work its nothing personal” “ I don’t care what you or the town thinks someone once told me to remember who they where to always believe in themselves and to never give up on love maybe that someone has forgotten but I haven’t so if your going to try to stop us there is no point because our love is ever lasting we are like an Oreo I am the chocolate biscuit and he is the vanilla cream that’s holds us together you cant break that bond and you never will but I will tell you one think you will break mum, break her soul that is you are crushing everything you and her stand for and what you have forte for all these years so think about what you are doing dad” shocked at what tala had said to him he ran knowing that tala was right he stopped and went to think about all he had done. Back in town sidka stops at Jenna’s place concerned at what tala had said he went to see how she was holding up he found her sobbing in a corner of the barn “ ahem Jenna I just wanted to see if you where ok I no this is a hard time for you and I feel so responsible im so sorry, if I didn’t care so much for tala I would have left long ago I just want you to no im sorry for being such a pain” “its not you sidka its balto Jenna explains he is just being so stubborn and pig headed I think its wonderful that you and tala are so happy together and I am behind you 100 percent but im just so sad and angry that balto cant just get over what other people think, not knowing that balto was right out side listening to the hole thing Jenna cries while hugging sidka in disgust with him self balto runs to the boat just out of town and decides to fix everything after a good nights sleep. The next morning balto asks every one to meet up at the barn for a family meeting including sidka he prepares a speech and clears his throat “ahem ….. I no the past few months I have been a pain and not my normal self I have totally shun sidka just because of his heritage im sorry for trying to reject him and for totally covering up I am part wolf to doing this to him is exactly what happen to me by other dogs when I was young and I never wanted to do that, im so sorry for all I have
