up. “Whoa horse, steady” whispered the men on the horses.

Falcon stopped barking and raced up the beach. “After that wolf!” said the men and raced after him.

Kenya nuzzled Jenna then ran out of the cave and followed behind Falcon and the hunters.

They raced up the beach and into a meadow. Falcon then stopped and faced the hunters. They all stopped and loaded their guns. Falcon smirked and barked loudly. The horses reared up again and the hunters fell off them. Kenya caught up with them and looked at the men laying on the floor. Falcon looked behind and saw loads of barking hunting dogs racing after them. Kenya swallowed hard and folded his ears back snarling.

Falcon growled and watched them all. The dogs came and growled at the wolves surrounding them. Kenya growled and pounced on two of them. Falcon tackled one and bit his throat.

A dog leaped in heading for him. Falcon bucked up and kicked the dog with his back legs.

Kenya grabbed a dog’s throat and dragged him across the floor. A dog jumped up and kicked Falcon’s jaw. Falcon growled and picked the dog up in his jaws and slammed him against the ground.

Blood was spilled everywhere. Falcon growled and charged towards five dogs and head butted them.

Falcon panted as blood dripped down his forehead.

Two hours have passed and Falcon and Kenya have killed all the hunting dogs and humans.

When the fight was over Kenya raced to the beach and into the cave. Jenna was laying there in some hay breathing slowly.

The next day Kenya and Falcon walked to find some food. They walked into a small town and looked around. Falcon walked over to a hotdog stall and took some sausages of the counter.

Two ladies were talking at a café with their dogs by their heals. The two wolves padded passed them and looked at the little dogs. The dogs looked at them and started to bark their yappy barks. “Oh gosh what huge dogs” said one of the ladies. Falcon and Kenya looked at each other and walked on. Falcon grunted and noticed that people were looking at them. Still carrying the sausages in his mouth he sat down. Kenya looked at him and sat down too. Falcon noticed that a poor young man was staring at him. He was sitting on a green blanket. He had brown gloves with holes in. and he has ripped blue pants and a green ripped t-shirt. Falcon looked at Kenya then looked at the man. Falcon sighed and got up and walked over to the poor man. He dropped his sausages down by the man’s feet.

The man looked at him and slowly picked up the sausages. Falcon smiled as the man began to eat the sausages. Falcon grunted and walked away. “Wait!” the man said and ran over to Falcon. “I want you to have this…” he said and took his green scarf off and wrapped it around Falcon’s neck gently. “It’s a way of saying thank you” the poor man said and walked away. Falcon stood still and looked at Kenya. Kenya nodded and walked on. Falcon looked to see the poor man but he was gone. So he followed Kenya in search of food.

They walked into an alleyway and searched inside the bins. Falcon knocked a bin over and a rat scurried out. Kenya did not like this place. It was dark and gloomy and graffiti on the brick walls.

Kenya put his head in a bin and sniffed about. Falcon noticed that some pigeons flew down and pecked at some leftover bread. Falcon licked his lips and charged at the pigeons and watched them fly away. He picked up the bread and carried it back to Kenya. They were walking out until a grey alley cat ran out from behind a bin and stood in front of them hissing. Falcon snorted and walked towards the stray cat. The cat hissed and scratched Falcon’s nose. Falcon yelped and wiped his nose with his paw. Kenya tilted his head and picked the cat up in his jaws the cat hissed loudly and squirmed and scratched Kenya’s face all over. Kenya dropped the cat and it scurried away.

Falcon growled and went to kill the cat but Kenya grabbed his tail. Falcon grunted and left the cat and walked out the alleyway followed by Kenya.

A couple of hours later they brought to Jenna a fish, a piece of bread, 3 sausages and a small rabbit. They ate their meal in the cave and fell asleep.

Late at night falcon got up and walked out of the cave. He stood on top of the hill and saw the village, he was thinking about that poor man. He sat down and looked at his scarf. The grey clouds covered the night sky. A cold wind blew around and rain began to pour. Falcon went to walk in the cave for shelter but he remembered that man. He ran off and ran to the village. He then saw the poor man shivering all wet and cold laying against a wall. Falcon walked over to him. The man opened his eyes. His face was white with cold. “Hello boy…” he whispered. Falcon wagged his tail slowly and walked closer to him. “I feel so cold” the man said as he coughed. Falcon widened his eyes and lay beside him and put his paws over his hand. The man snuggled into Falcon to keep warm. Falcon did not care about the cold or getting wet. He just wanted to protect the man.

The next morning Jenna was feeling fine. She was able to walk. Her unborn pups were kicking against her stomach. Kenya sighed happily and nuzzled Jenna. He walked out the cave but he could not find Falcon.

Falcon opened his eyes and saw the man already awake. “Good morning boy” said the man. Falcon sat up then walked towards him. The man smiled and ripped off a piece of bread and held it out to him. Falcon sniffed it then took it out of his hand and swallowed it. “Sorry it’s not much-“ he stopped and saw Falcon licking his hand. The man smiled and stroked Falcon’s head.

“So where you came from boy?” he said. Falcon tilted his head. “I don’t think you can understand me.” He said and chuckled. Falcon barked and wagged his tail. The man smiled and stroked him again. “Good dog” he said. Falcon gave him a curious glare and sat down. The man noticed that Falcon had a few scars on him. “I bet you’ve been in a few fights” the man said. As he looked at the scar across Falcon’s eye.

Falcon looked away suddenly and perked his ears. “What is it boy?” the man asked. Falcon sniffed the air and looked around. The man looked at him curiously. Falcon got up and ran away. “Oh… well bye!” the man said as he watched Falcon run round the corner.

Falcon ran out of the village and through the meadow until he got to the beach. He walked up and looked inside the cave. But Jenna and Kenya were gone. He ran out the cave and ran to a near-by field. He sniffed around and he saw Kenya and Jack. But Jack did not have a hunting dog because Kenya had killed Kai. But beside Jack was his friend Harry. Both of them aiming their guns and keeping Kenya in the same place. Falcon growled and ran towards Jack. “Don’t move!” Jack said and faced Falcon. “If you move… you and your wolf friend will die.” He said. Falcon growled and stopped running. “Good dog” he said and laughed. Falcon growled. Kenya looked at Falcon and nodded his head. Falcon sighed and nodded his head too. He looked at Jack and ran towards him. “Don’t you move or that wolf will die!” he shouted. Falcon closed his eyes and rammed into Jack. “Shoot the other wolf!” Jack shouted as he fell.

Harry loaded his gun and shot at Kenya. BANG! Falcon got off Jack and watched.

Kenya fell to the floor… NO!!! Thought Falcon. He raced over to him and sat by his side

Falcon looked angrily at Harry. Harry is a tall young man. He has frizzy bright copper coloured hair. And he has a thin mushtash underneath his nose. Falcon tackled him and pinned him to the floor. Harry screamed and struggled to get away. But Falcon bit into his leg hard. Harry tried to crawl away but he couldn’t, falcon’s jaws were clamped shut tight. His leg started to bleed before falcon threw him by his leg. Harry hit his back of a tree and collapsed to the floor. Falcon snarled and ran towards him.

Harry opened his eyes and gasped before ducking down and falcon crashed headfirst into the tree.

Falcon fell backwards whimpering. Harry smirked and aimed his gun at Falcon. Just then Jenna came running and tackled Harry knocking the gun out of his hand. Harry gasped and crawled towards his gun and reached for it, but Jenna snatched it and snarled. “Give it here girl” he pleaded. But Jenna just backed away slowly. “Good girl bring the gun here” he said reaching for it. Jenna snarled and ran away with the gun in her jaws. “Ach stupid mutt!” he yelled to her. He then turned to look at Falcon but he was not there. “What?” he said and turned around. Falcon was there, snarling behind him. He jumped up and bit Harry’s neck. A few moments later Falcon dropped him and Harry fell to the ground dead. Falcon snarled and licked some blood of his muzzle then looked at Jack. Kenya slowly got up and limped over to Falcon and glared at Jack too. Jack looked at them then ran off.

Jack walked down the street sulking. He kicked a stone and sulked. They are unbeatable he thought as he remembered Harry and Kai’s deaths. He sighed and walked into the pound. A baldy headed man with black leathers on came walking out and stood in front of Jack. He took the cigarette from his mouth and dumped it on the floor and stamped on it. “What another dog already?” he said and smirked. Jack nodded sheepishly.

“Heh heh right this way” he said and lead Jack through the room to where all the
