other dogs. She ran and tackled two of them growling. A white dog jumped on Jenna and bit her scruff. Kenya growled and bit the white dog’s neck and held him down until the dog did not move.

He then pounced on another dog. Kenya and Jenna were helping each other until the rest of the dogs ran away. Kenya padded up to Jenna and they both wagged their tails.

But Kenya heard something he looked around and saw humans heading towards them some are on horses. Kenya pushed Jenna gently and they both ran away as fast as they could to a beach and they hid in a cave.

The next day Kenya woke up but Jenna was gone he walked outside and saw her sitting watching the waves. He wagged his tail and ran over to her. Jenna barked happily and licked his nose. Kenya barked and trotted down the beach with Jenna by his side. He had found happiness at last!

They walked on until they came to a tent Kenya barked for Jenna to go and hide, Jenna didn’t want to but she walked away and hid inside a cave.

Kenya snarled at the familiar scent of Jack and Toya he looked in the tent and saw Jack asleep, Toya was laying asleep outside.

Kenya wondered what he should do. He walked inside the tent quietly and howled as loud as he could. Jack woke up quickly and grabbed his gun and chased Kenya “c’mon girl!” he shouted to Toya.

Toya got up and followed them barking and growling.

Kenya still ran up the beach and up a sand dune until he got to a cliff he stopped and looked down the cliff then turned round.

“Your gonna die wolf” said Jack with a smirk. It looked as if Kenya smirked back.

Toya pounced on Kenya making them roll and almost fall down the cliff. It started to rain heavily and the clouds were grey. Kenya bit into Toya and threw her. She skidded down the cliff. Kenya barked and grabbed Toya by her scruff so she can climb down steadily. Toya slowly climbed down the cliff until she got to the bottom and she looked up. Kenya growled circling Jack. Jack aimed his gun but Kenya jumped on jack and pulled the gun from Jack’s grip and threw it down the cliff.

Jack growled and took a little knife from his pocket and ran towards Kenya plunging it in his stomach. Kenya yelped in pain.

Jack laughed I’ve won wolf!”

Kenya snarled and pounced on Jack as he hit off the floor. Their faces almost touching. Jack began to shout “Toya! Toya get here now! Stupid runt get up here now or I will shoot you!”

Toya snarled and ignored her master’s calls.

Kenya growled but he got off Jack and walked away letting him live. Jack laughed and ran towards Kenya and stabbing the knife in his stomach again they both tumbled until the edge of the cliff Jack was hanging on by his bleeding fingers screaming.

Kenya snarled and bit Jack’s face and with that Jack let go and fell…

Kenya collapsed to the ground with bad wounds to his stomach.

Jenna and Toya raced up the hill and looked at him. Jenna howled and lay beside him.

Toya barked then ran off.

10 minutes later Toya came running back with Ann and Charlie in their van driving beside her.

They all ran over to Kenya.

“Ken!” shouted Ann as she looked at the blood stained beaten up wolf.

Charlie looked at Kenya and thought “hmm” he took out of his back pack some cloths and bandages. 1 hour later Ann and Charlie carried him into their van and drove off with Toya and Jenna in too.

A few days later Kenya got what he wanted, Jenna and no Jack…

Kenya yawned and nuzzled a pregnant Jenna. She was laying in hay with a swollen belly.

Kenya was going be a farther.

But still Kenya was not happy, he still missed his family and those other hunters were still after him. He took a deep breath and sighed. The wind was blowing around him and some flakes of snow drifted down, that is the sign that winter is coming early. And the sign that survival was at thin edge.

Kenya padded along a thin and muddy track in search of food before winter spread around.

Cautiously he walked past villages and towns he did not want to pull a stunt like he did last time, trigger off loads of men to kill him. Especially that winter and his cubs were on its way.

He saw lots of pheasants sitting in a frosty near by field, he licked his lips and swished his tail lowering him self to the ground. Almost belly dragging he crawled closer to the pheasants and watched their every move like a lurking shadow.

Soon he kept close enough to attack, he thundered himself from the ground and pounced on one and killed it before he ran after another one and killed that one.

He carried the pheasants on his back and wondered on.

It was getting late and so far Kenya killed two pheasants and three water rats and a small deer.

He was dragging them all back to his den before he herd something, like a bark but it wailed, it was like a sad and lonely song. Kenya’s eyes widened he couldn’t follow it, he would get into trouble… and what about Jenna and the unborn pups… they need him most. Kenya shook his head and turned away from the sound. He picked up his meal and walked away trying to ignore what his ears had just heard.

But the sound came again. Kenya stopped instantly and turned around dropping his catch.

This time he could not refuse to go and see what it is he left his meal and sprinted towards the city. The sound was getting louder and the song was getting clearer. He could almost feel the song going through him. He sprinted faster until he entered the town, he slowed down and walked quietly, he had never saw anything like this before, big brown buildings pilled together. No people or animals were around. He walked past blood stained walls, the only sign of life was some fierce guard dogs on patrol chained up besides metal gates.

Kenya growled lowly he could not turn back now.

He walked slowly, his tail between his legs and his ears folded down. He was on full caution.

He kept on walking until he came to a big wear house with a big black gate surrounding it with loads of black and brown guard dogs surrounding the area.

Kenya circled the place, it interested him with curiosity, he then dug a whole under the fence and squeezed through until he got to a big garden with a blossom tree next to the building. He walked around and looked at the building, and then he heard that song again.

Kenya looked at the wall and there was a small window, he looked through and he saw a dog, the dog was a tan brown colour with a white chest. That was the dog who was howling the howl that Kenya heard and followed.

Kenya stared at him and scratched at the glass. The dog opened his eye and looked at Kenya and slowly stood up. “Hey c’mon he’s in here” said a man as he walked into the same room as the dog. The dog started to whimper and whine as the human came in. the man chuckled “what you doing up hmm?” said the man as he hit the dog and knocking him down.

The dog whimpered in fear at the man and curled up shivering. “Good and stay obedient” he said and started hitting him with a heavy club. Kenya lowered his head and backed away from the horrible site but still hearing the dog scream in pain.

Kenya lay by the blossom tree, he would go back to Jenna in the morning.

The next morning the sky was grey and dull but the sun still shone brightly.

Kenya woke up and walked over to the small window and looked into it.

Laying there dripping with blood is that dog. Kenya barked to get his attention.

The dog opened his eyes and stood up shaking. Kenya wagged his tail barking franticly.

The dog just stared at him with no expression.

Kenya frowned and perked his ears hearing a noise coming. He hid on the other side from the window and peered in lightly.

“EX182, what you doing?!” said a man as he entered the room. The dog whined.

“Stop that barking!” he shouted as he kicked his stomach.

The dog yelped and whined. The dog’s name was EX182 that’s the name humans in the laboratory gave him.

EX182 then growled and barked.

“Back boy!” said the man as he hit him. But EX182 still growled before he pounced on the man and grabbed his neck in his jaws crushing down.

The man screamed as he slowly died in pain. The dog dropped the dead body and scratched at the window.

Kenya realised that the dog EX182 was a wolf by the way he killed that man by the throat.

Just now, Kenya was determent to get that wolf out of there! Kenya growled and scratched at the window.

“Over here!” men were coming when they heard that EX182 was escaping.

Kenya growled and then lunged himself at the window breaking through it. The wolf leaped out and Kenya and the other wolf sprinted out and under the fence heading towards the fields.

Both wolves hid in the field as men ran out of the city looking for them.

Kenya panted and looked at the strange new wolf curiously.

The wolf’s real name was not EX182 that was his experimental name, his real name is Falcon.

Falcon was a wild wolf that got captured by humans and experimented on in the laboratory when he was young. He always got beaten by them and locked away in a little room. His tan fur shone in the light, he has a white chest and a black marking under one eye. Kenya wagged his tail and barked franticly.

But the Falcon just sat down and stared at him blankly.

Kenya growled playfully and tackled him, Falcon got tackled and hit the floor then stood back up snarling.

Kenya was only playing but Falcon took it seriously and rammed into Kenya knocking him to the floor.

Kenya took that the wrong way, Falcon was a
