widened as he watched the two wolves, his tail lashed and he came out from the shadows he ran to where the commotionw as and snarled. His muzzle wrinkled, spittles teeth showilg. HIs fur bristled and he looked bigger. he eyed Quent then looked to where Kira and Storm were fighting.
John grabbed Storm by the scruff throwing her out of the way and also jumping out of the way. He always hated seeing someone get hurt while he sat there hiding from the danger.
Kira pulled away and moved to the side. Immediantly a bullet fizzed by and scratched Storm's shoulder, the bullet not entering the skin. Kira backed away when she saw Rallen attack Quent. She ran toward Rallen and Quent. She leaped on Rallen's back and tore him from Quent's gun. Quent quickly tried to load another bullet. He had aim, but Kira was standing in the way of the shot. "Leave." she growled at Rallen and Storm and John. She sounded more caring then a threat.
Storm was suddenly thrown to the side, and skid on her paws. "Hey! Don't treat me like a damsel in distress! I can take care of my own fights you bunch of ********!" Storm snarled as she went for Kira and grabbed her by the tail, not letting go. 'And I'm not afraid to die...
John stood infront of Storm snarling at Quent. His head down and tail raised high into the air. He was doing his best to protect Storm.
Spittle jumped and hurled himself at Quent. he scratched and bit into the mans hand. HIs tail bristled. His fangs sinking into the flesh of Quent. His yellow teeth turning a little red.
Kira yelped as her tail meant teeth. She turned and looked at Storm. Quent sneered as his dog got attacked by a wolf. "Back away you *****" he growled and took aim again. He shot again and the bullet sank into her leg. Kira scratched her face, to make her let go. "Leave please!" she growled. Kira turned and grabbed Spittle by hind leg and tore him away from Quent. Quent yelled in pain as Spittle bit his hand. Kira, nudged him away. Quent grabbed his gun and ran off. Kira snorted at the wolves and she ran after Quent.
Rallan grunted softly as he felt himself pulled away from the human - by the wolf, nonetheless! He growled at Kira, but knew that against a gun he was fighting a losing battle. Reluctantly, he turned and ran down an alley, dashing onward through the city's labyrinth. He only stopped once he'd gone a good distance away, growling at himself. Why did I run? Why didn't I stay? he asked himself in thought as he lay down, ... It's because I knew if I stayed, I would have died... There'd be one less wolf... I can't let my kind be wiped out...
Spittle snarled, "put another tooth on my friend and I will tear you to shreds." he said as a warning and stood where he was. His teeth showing. His fur bristling.
With the sheer pain in her shoulder and hind right leg and the sratch on her forehead, she released her grip, but not lightly. She ripped her head back, tearing fur from Kira's tail and a bit of skin. She didn't yelp or whimper, just growl and snarl in her face. Her large size finally showing from her breed, tail raised in dominance and pride. "I shall never run away from fights, and I'm not afraid to die to save my kind..."
A low growl in her wolven form came as a sneer in her human form. Bleeding from her shoulder and right leg, clenching her wounded shoulder with her right arm. Her white pelt still shimmering like the silver of a fish's scale, she turned towards the other wolves. "C'mon, let's all go and find a place to rest up, we'll be seeing this guy again soon enough..." With a scoff and a growl, she turned around the darted off, passing everyone else and away from Kira and Quent.
Sven walked quietly through the streets. His head hung it its usual manner. His ear suddenly caught the distant sound of fighting. Sven heard loud barking and even a gunshot. Sven cursed under his breath and began jogging toward the sound until he came up to a street where he saw the fighting. Sven stared in awe as he saw wolves. Real wolves, just like him. and they were all fighting a man and his dog. The man had a gun. Sven cursed again under his breath. An image flashed from his past....the gun. The way his mother had died. But Sven stayed where he was even if he was enraged by how the man pointed his gun at the other wolves. Sven just stood and watched.
Quent ran into an alley. Kira panted heavily and she fell to the ground at Quent's feet. Quent looked at Kira and saw her tail bleeding. "Oh, Kira." he said and walked up to her. He ripped off of a piece of cloth and wraped one around his hand and the other around her tail. He sighed and looked up to where they had just ran. "There was so many..Where'd they come from?" he said panting. Kira lay on her side, whimpering. "It's okay. We'll stay clear of them for a bit." he whispered and patted her.
Spittle stayed where he was. he sat down and watched the other humans. He moved away from the fighting area and moved to a dark alley, where it was safe and he out of sight. he layed down on tall crates, his tail flicking every moment.
Sven watched as all of the others ran away. He looked at the man and the dog that lay at his feet. Sven kept his face neutral as he walked away in the direction of the other wolves. He had never thought that he would meet others of his own kind. And now he knew that there were other still living out there. Sven felt a slight smile creep across his face as he walked down an ally. Keeping track of the other wolves scents.
Rallan sighed heavily as he lay by himself in the dark alley. For once, he was thankful to have found solitude once again. It was relaxing, and after a fight with a human who could have easily killed them had the other two not shown up, he needed to settle down. And one more thing played on his mind: those two females... The one wasn't afraid to get killed for her kind didn't seem to see that you don't count for much when you're dead and the other one had been helping the human! What the ***'s the world come to? he thought to himself, sighing sadly.
Sven came up to the darkest part of the alley and he saw one of the wolves sitting by himself. Sven walked to the other side of the alley and sat down as well. "So...you're a wolf too?" He asked in a low tone. Sven had a low voice for someone his age.
Quent fell asleep. He layed by Kira. She felt a drop on her muzzle and looked up. It started to rain. She licked Quent's face. He opened his eyes. "What?" he asked and felt rain starting to fall from the dark sky above. "Oh, shoot!" he growled and stood up. Quent grabbed Kira's leash and they headed toward a Inn. He read the sign that said "No Animals." he flipped on some large sun glasses and walked in. Kira knew what he was up to. They have done this plenty of times to get into a hotel.
He walked in and Kira held her head up, like she was listening. The manger looked up from a book. "Sorry, si.." he said and looked at how he was moving around. "Oh um, here's your key. Left side, first floor. Number 4" he said. Once out of sight, Quent took off the glasses and walked into the room. Quent flopped on the bed and went to sleep. After she knew he was asleep she turned human and walked out of the hotel, then turned into a wolf. She walked through the town, looking for those wolves who attacked her.
Storm limped off by herself, not knowing she had wondered in the same direction Quent and Kira had gone. A trail of blood followed behind her, but she didn't mind. If she basked in the moonlight they'll heal like they were never there. 'D**n, this world is screwed up...humans are so ignorant and stupid, they can't tell what's wolf and what's not...'
Her thoughts trailed off as she now realized that there were males. She hadn't really paid attention to the genders of the wolves, but she knew Rallan was a male, but the others. Only her and Kira were the females. Great. The white wolf turned a corner only to find herself staring at Kira, in a fighting stance, but no sound came from her jaws. She just...stared...
Rallan heard someone approaching him and quickly turned back to a human just in time as he saw someone walk up and sit opposite of him. He raised his eyebrows slightly in surprise before chuckling softly. "Am I that easy to tell?" he asked humorously, ignoring the rain that landed on his body, "Is it by my scent or can you see me clearly?" He looked up at the nearly pitch-black sky as the rain fell down on top of them.
