replied to him.

He wondered, “Well I guess you don’t have to answer.”

Hector spoke anyway. “Well why I can’t help is that it is all natural for me.”

“You mean you haven’t wondered at all since you knew?” Balto asked hector.

“Nope no doubt either.” Hector spoke proudly.

“When are they due?” He asked.

“Eh?” Hector replied, “What do mean due?”

He paused and smiled, “Sorry I was told when they’re going to born, and I see with you.”

“Vet, grrrr, they sound evil, V equals Very, E equals Evil, T equals Territory.” Hector replied to Balto.

“Very Evil Territory?” He laughed, “No they help us out, Hector.”

“That’s Vet what stands for from my point.” He said seriously.

There was slight pause then Hector, and Balto laughed.

“So Balto are they’re any other questions or requests?” Hector asked him.

“Yes there is a well it well take time.” Balto started.

“Alright I’ll stay for two weeks that should be enough, now.” He finished for him.

“Is that alright with you, your pack?” He asked.

“It’s always fine, don’t worry about it, I’ll be in this area k just howl, and I’ll be there.” Hector spoke happily.

“Thank you Hector.” He said to him as left.

Hector watched him as he ran off, well Balto I wish you luck, the old saying “Hell hath no fury than a woman’s wraith.” Balto something has changed in you I can’t place it, what about the bite on your paw, blood mark on your head, something is wrong. Crap! Not again, I wanted to meet Jenna but I forgot to ask, now like five times remember you idiot! Also I forgot to ask where he lives no harm in following is there? I hope.

Balto started for his home. He wasn’t in a hurry but something told him he was being followed. When he arrived at the boat his heart sunk to the bottom of the ocean he could see Jenna at the boat. Waiting for me I should have finished the race. Well can’t do nothing now she is going to make a big deal of this race gosh.

He walked up the boat, “Hey Jen.”

She said nothing, what the?

He continued, “I guess you didn’t like my finish of the race, eh?”

She still said nothing. Balto decided to go on, “Look I’m sorry Jen.”

“You’re always sorry.” she finely said.

Unprepared for those words, they stuck like a bullet. He didn’t know what to say; he thought he was in for an argument, not an emotional beating. The silence was long and every second drove him deeper into depression. What have I done?

He finely drove enough effort to speak, “Jen, I..”

He looked to Jenna who wasn’t looking at him. “I know I’ve failed you Jenna, but I..”

She finished Balto’s sentence “I’m trying to change.”

He felt as if his soul was shot by bullet. Ok I get it I failed just stop!

Hector watching form a distance his ears close to the ground, “Darn it I knew that wasn’t true about were you can hear better when close to the ground!” well I know where he lives now, old boat got it.

At the boat Balto had given up conversation and went to his blanket, he first offered it to Jenna but she still didn’t answer him. He put his nose under it to lift it up then bit it to hold it. He turned to Jenna who still hadn’t looked at him. He walked over to her. He saw Jenna’s ear twitch as he was about two feet away. He lift the blanket and put it on her.

She made a slight glance over to him but when he noticed she looked away. After He knew the blanket was comfortable for her he went to where he slept. He figured he shouldn’t say much or anything for the matter, he failed Jenna once more.

The next morning he notice Jenna had left. Boris wasn’t here yet either he was mad at him too. He couldn’t blame them just himself. Their just Brats that can’t under stand. He blinked no! No! Not again! He started up and got up and started to run. He ran down the wooden plank, and started off to the forest. He paid no attention to where he was going just not the area where Hector wouldn’t be or even think where he could be if he disappeared and if he heard about it.

He stopped for nothing the only thought was to get out! Get out! Turning, turning, that damn wolf in me!

Jenna was going back to see how Balto was when she saw him run down the wooden plank and kept running. Is Balto…no he’s running away! Jenna knew he was faster, and could run longer, but she followed in pursuit.

Hector going to see Balto say it is all right to have an argument. He went to the boat “Balto? HEY!!” Hector saw a goose. The goose turned and screamed. “Fooood.” He stammered. The goose flew off, He laughed “like I eat feathers.” He turned and at the far point of his eyesight he thought he saw something, “Not my problem.” He went off back to the woods man Balto likes moving all lot.

Jenna couldn’t run anymore but went to follow the tracks he left behind. She followed them for hours she was glade that there wasn’t much wind and no snow today. She finely had enough energy for a long run and did so following her scent of smell and her sight to follow the track.

It had been till nightfall where she saw the tracks lead to another forest. Where is this. She stopped by the sight she next saw. She could see the trees had scratches on many them and sticks and even big ones, branches had bite marks. The snow had some blood on it. She followed the scratches and bite marks they lead to a hill that went she saw a skid that lead down the hill. she carefully went down.

Balto had been attacking things since he got there. He panted “You’re not that the one who does that.” He was exhausted but he made himself just one do one last thing. Turn, turn..you will never be that I’ll make sure of it I can’t to my pups. He grunted as headed for the tree “Just one more time!” He closed his eyes as he once again plowed his head into the tree. He could see his upper paws he bit both of them they shook a little. What is happening?

He sighed with a grunt. I must go back Balto turned around he heard a sound. He looked around but couldn’t find anything, “If can’t see or hear you I’ll just smell you out!”

Jenna holding was her breath oh no Balto’s nose is very keen he’ll sniff me out in one sniff.

He took one sniff, “Come on, I’m waiting, I knew this day would evenly.”

Jenna made no movement but he continued, “I will wait till you make the first move I won’t runway.”

“The only thing I don’t know is when you started to follow me or how long you’ve been here.”

She was about to give in and move into view, but other voices made her stop.

“Just one of you, is jealousy, you hate consumes us all.” Balto said to the other.

“As it has you.” She heard the voice say.

Balto thought this day wouldn’t come but he knew it would. The wolf stood in front of him. “Still hating me for what I’m.”

The voice replied to him, “You’re an abomination of us only half with some weakling.”

He was already angry but now in rage, “Don’t talk about my father!”

The voice was cocky, “Oh, believe I already have many times.”

He grunted, another wolf quietly is coming from behind him. He spoke, “Hating me won’t work on me.” His eyes moved to the far left as the wolf from behind jump at him. He moved out of the way. Balto’s eyes moved to the far right as another wolf came at him. he turned toward the wolf, and using his front paws drove the wolf’s head into the snow and jumped off the wolfs head.

He smiled as the first wolf went for a go at him. He used his right paw to hit his throat, the hit was dead on, he then crouched and used jumping force to force him away just in time to dodge the next wolf. “Why do even try I’m half dead and can’t touch me.” He said with arrogance in it.

He spoke again. “Leave before I’m obliged to kill you.”

He was bluffing he used most of that remaining strength in that maneuver. He was blocking his panting.

“I doubt that.” One of the wolves said to him.

He gave that wolf a glare, but the wolf continued. “I believe that you sapped your remaining strength in that move.”

He tried to find a way out but couldn’t most but all of his strength was gone. Seeing the bluff failed he aloud himself to pant heavily.

The wolves made their move again. He jumped to dodge, but another went pushed him in the air. He rolled in the snow his paws bled still, with his head. I’m finished this is it. He made a smile and closed his eyes “If I’m not there for them who will be.” He opened his eyes I be very weak now but I must kill them to move on. Jenna, the pups, Boris, Muk, Luk, and Hector. I won’t die to old enemies.

He opened his eyes my children I will be there. The wolves made for ago I’ll use gravity and force for this one. Balto staggered to his
