Balto’s Resort, Jenna’s Worry

Balto is Property of ablin ENT. And  universal pictures.  I give some credit to StreetBoris.(web site maker)  This is my first fan fic so tell me what is bad and what’s good, mean comments I will allow, I want to know everyone’s opinion. Yeah I know it’s short. Hector, Loresa, Cinder, Cronos T.M> by M.G.M. my initials I want permission or knowing before you use my charters, or just leave them I don’t mind if you use them, just don’t kill them I’m making others so.

Balto stood on his old boat staring out into Nome. He sighed the last time I looked out like this was when Steel’s team left for the medicine. He looked down at the snow. The thought of Jenna came into his mind, which made his heart pound. I talked to her about the pups and he got over it or I thought. They’re due in five weeks but can I. The thought broke from his mind. I need to see Hector.

Hector was a wolf friend that He made shortly after his rescue of Nome. When they met Hector only called him two things “Hero of Nome” or “Balto of Nome” he didn’t like being called “Hero.” He became good friends but he doesn't know much about him. He always wondered about the scars that Hector had on his head.

Still standing at the stern of the old boat turned around and got off. Working his way to the beam that lead off the boat. He started for the forest. First he deicide to walk, but he didn’t want many to know about his wolf friend. So he decided to start in a run for the forest. What wasn’t much of 30 minutes, but seemed to pass as hours to Balto, he was in a hurry.

At the forest he knew he had to go deep to howl for Hector. One so Jenna or Boris wouldn’t think it was him. Second Hector usually took a day or two to meet him so he figured he lived far away, and sometimes he doesn’t even show. He and Hector decided to always was meet at a cave at which the first met. Where he called him “Hero of Nome.” He was bewildered by the name but got used to it. After finding the cave which Hector named “Gut” for some reason. He howled over and over. He took several breaths and tried again. Balto figured that he would have to howl for an hour before he was sure that Hector would hear the howl.

After a bit, or what he thought was an hour he pricked his ears up for the return howl. Come on! Come on! He was growing impatient he needed his friend now! He gave another long and extra loud howl. After about ten minutes he finely heard the return howl from Hector. He grunted now I have to wait a day! He turned and headed back for Nome.

He passed through the forest at his top speed something told him that he had forgotten something, but couldn’t figure it out. I’ll just talk to Boris he never forgets a thing! Gosh he told Jenna about when he thought a storm’s wind was death him self-trying to kill him. AND that was only once when he was a still a puppy. It was so humiliating for him, but he forgave him as it is in my nature...seems to be curse sometimes. Boris also remembered things in every detail of every day he lived practically. But I guess it comes in handy in times like this.

Before he knew it he was out of the forest heading for Nome. I wish time past like that when I’m in a hurry. He changed directions to his home or his boat. When he arrived he climbed the beam up to the boat.

“Boris. Boris?!” He called out hopping to find him. He looked around for him from the boat but couldn’t find him.

“Ah, Ha!” a russian voice yelled out.

He turned to see Boris landing on the edge of the boat.

“Ah, Boris. So..” Boris cut off Balto.

“Balto you idiot why do you go to the forest when.” He intervened, feeling his heart skip a beat, “You followed me? How long?”

The old russian goose sighed “I was about to yell for you but. Argh.” The goose paused for a moment, before yelling his answer, “Uncle Boris!"

“I see.” A small smile of relief creeped up on the wolfdog. That was too close! I have to be more careful to make sure no one is following from ground and air.

“So, what did I miss Boris?” He asked moving the conversation away with what he was doing.

“‘What did I miss?!’ Balto you had a date planned with Jenna the one you planned last month!”

He closed his eyes tightly “Oh, gosh.” Why do I even agree to plan things that far ahead of time?!

“Gosh? Gosh! I’ve been looking for you like crazy! Jenna got worried that you got into a fight with wolves hearing all the howling.”

“You herd the howling?” His voice cracked slightly at the question felt his heartbeat increase once again.

“Yeah, but I wished you did.” Boris answered as he uttered something in Russian, and making a gesture towards his ears.

“Why would you wish me to get in a fight?” He nervously questioned knowing the answer to it already...but it always helped hearing it anyway.

“Well, that would give you a reason of why you missed it, all you have is that you went for a run, right?” Boris asked accusingly.

“Uh, uh...yeah.” Balto stammered. Seeming out of touch.

“Balto!” The two Muk and Luk ran up, the board onto his ship and hugged him. He didn't mind the attention, but he wasn't in the best of moods right now. He had messed around with a promise he made!

“Hey guys let go I’m running late.” He laughed out.

“You never fail to bring a smile to face.” Boris stammered looking away annoyed at the two cubs.

“So we have been north, south, east, and toward water for you!”

Great they looked for me too! Jenna is going to thrust me into a fire. “Well I was just um..on a run.” He had hesitated at answering the unquestion made to him by the polar bear cubs. He finely wiggled himself free of the two cubs. Then walked to the stern of the old boat.

“If you guys get any stronger you could take any bear.” He stated while looking towards the town of Nome. It was slowly getting harder to escape them as time passed by.

Muk gave a cry of fear. “Ah Balto, why did you mention that?” Luk asked him, Balto didn’t seem to hear him.

“I better get going guys.” He said with a worried smile, as he made his way to the beam that lead off the boat.

“You better hurry Balto time is far against you!” Boris called out to him.

Balto gave him an angered smile and took off. Know then what to tell Jenna? If I told her the truth she might worry about the wolf Hector he was a hunter wolf from his pack. Jenna would also get angry for not telling her about him till now.

“I don’t know what to tell her gosh…why did I forget about this. How did I forget about this?” Balto said aloud to him self.

Its best not to answer that question...because you don't know.

At the town Balto still used the alleys to get around. They’re faster than the roads, but Jenna said ‘Just to use the roads for you’re not an outsider anymore.’ He still used them he was used to staying in the alleys, nor did the whole town conform to accept him.

He turned in an alley he knew this alley well it’s were he almost ran into Jenna but did touch her nose. He jumped on the barrel as he always was done, but tripped and fell down. He slid into the wooden fence causing several things to fall down. Making a racket of things. He grunted, “Well that was smooth. Very smooth.” He lifted him self up. He shook him self-getting the snow off.

He walked out of the alley he sighed as he now walked the dreadful march to Jenna’s house. To let his heartbeat go down the other to stop his panting, he almost sounded pathetic. As he was walking he heard a sled team passing by. I wonder who could this team be? He waited for them to pass by.

The sled team racing towards him. He could hear the musher yelling at them to slow down. All of the team slowed down, to a halt. The musher got off the sled and yelled at them. “What are you doing?! You make a clear line are you trying to make me look like a village idiot!” he grunted “Argh. Bad dogs they should have paid me to take you dogs. You’re the worst I ever had we’re a hour behind!”

Balto quickly put his ears back how rude! He could see that the dogs were far over worked. They were panting more than he had ever panted. They’re tongs were hang out like a string.

He knew he couldn’t do anything except feel sorry for them. One stood out to him it she beautiful white husky, but she looked how Jenna looked. He questioned him self. Was she pregnant? Like Jenna? She shouldn't be running. He started to walk toward them but musher looked in his direction. Something told him to run as he did. Balto could hear the musher say a “wolf in this town? How crappy is this town?” He stopped wanting to bite him for that, but moved on. He wasn't the only person who thought that way.

He finely reached Jenna’s
