Queen Raina sat on the top of the werewolf clans cliff cave looking out into the vast tracts of land that she had come to love over time. This was her territory. A piece of her life she never intended to let be taken from her. A Monstrous howl erupted from the forest below and a toothy grin came upon her face. “ Balto Friend Werewolf” she whispered getting to her feet. Opening her large white wings she soared off the cliff. Her wings cut into the air like knives and the sun bounced of her white fur. She circled for a moment then landed at the forest edge. Moments later BF emerged looking like he just got out of a fight. “Are you ok?” she asked running to him looking at his already healing wounds. “I’m fine” Bf growled. “It was thought hunters again. There getting smarter.” He held out his hand dropping silver bullets into hers.

“Are there…..what I think they are?”

“Yes, and its pure. Enough to kill …. lets say a Queen.”

He looked at her with concern in his eyes.

“Don’t worry about me. I will be fine. It is the rest of the clan I worry about. What if a pup is shot.”

Raina shuttered and shook her head.

“I want 24 hour surveillance. Inform your guards. I will tell the scouts.”

BF nodded to her and Ran off to the clan cave, while She took off into the woods to find her scouts. Raina tore threw the woods sniffing the air, then stopped on a dime catching a familiar scent. Huffing she turned to see Rose sitting on fallen tree that hung over the river. “ROSE” she yelled. The young werewolf’s ears perked and she shot up looking at Raina. Seeing the hurried look on her face Rose ran over to her.

‘What is it my queen?”

I need you to go to the cave and stay near it. We are having intruder issues.”

Rose sighed but bowed and ran off to the cave as BF did. Raina watched her then turned getting back to business. Not even a mile North she found 5 of her scouts patrolling.. Franticly she told them the news. One by one there eyes grew larger. But they knew it was there job to protect the clan. “So can you do this for me?” she asked. “We would do anything for our clan my queen” one said out load. The others agreed and they all bowed. Thanking them Raina took of back toward the cave. Sitting outside she spotted Rose and BF. Howling she opened her wings and flew up to greet them. BF bowed and Rose sat there lost in a pensive thought.

“What is she doing?” Raina asked.

“I’m not to sure” said BF “We where talking about the hunters then she sort of drifted off. Its kind of funny.”

Raina giggled and shouted Rose’s name.

“AHHH” She stumbled back looked up at her queen.

“Something on your mind?” Raina said watching her.

“ummm.. No not really. I was just thinking about the future.”

Raina sat down by Rose and placed a hand on her shoulder.

“My dear girl. Don’t worry about the future. The way I see it is if you worry about what will happen to you next you will miss what is happening to you now, And that is no way to live. Now is it?”

Rose gave Raina a small smile and said “no I guess it isn’t.” She got up and walked into the cave looking for her Friend Apricot. Raina sighed and laughed. Just then without warning BF tackled Raina in one of his playful ways. She opened her eyes, and was now on the ground. Taking in what just happened she soon realized she had a very heavy male werewolf on her back. Laying there she tapped her claws on the stone.

‘Do you mind?”

BF laughed and gave her a wet wily.

“No not really, but seeing how it is very informal.” she said sarcastically. ‘I will get off you and let you up.”

Puffing Raina waited as he pretended to get off her then sat back down,, up again and then down again.

“That’s it” she said

With all her strength she shot up into the air opening her wings leaving BF in the dust. Just as he was about to fly up after her Shots ring out in the wind and a Shrill howl of pain rumbles the forest…….
