Reunited again.

(Poem from my story/poem “Another loss, Another Life”)

My sleek black fur trails on the ground.

You’re here once again but I can’t believe it’s true.

You’re the one I have always wanted and you’re the one I have found.

I can’t live without you.

Your white fur shimmers in the moonlight.

This can’t be real.

It is the middle of the night.

You died my love.

You died for our son, our only son.

We now are together.

You were shot by their gun.

We will be with each other now forever.

Our son, Azacha stands proud on the hill.

He goes around himself for a while then howls.

Before tucking into his nightly kill.

Now he goes on the prowl.

To find us.

He doesn’t know we’re dead.

He will live longer then ever.

And will always be searching.

Searching for us.

Even though he never knew his father(me) he will still search.
