laugh.

Kayko and Jenna were glad that Yusuke and Balto were coming but they did not want them to die.

Balto and the group jumped through the barrier unaware of the dangers ahead.

 

 

Chapter 8:The Castle

Demon World

When Balto and the group landed, Balto and his family were surprised to see what demon world looked like.

"Where do we go from here Yusuke?" said Balto.

"We need to go north," Yusuke said.

From the tower in the castle, Byakko saw the group heading toward the castle.

"Suzaku! Yusuke and his friends are on the way?" Byakko said.

"I know they are coming, that is why I am sending formless humans to take care of them," said Suzaku.

Suzaku walked out of the room and down to the chamber where Jenna and Kayko were.

Meanwhile, in the chamber where Jenna and Kayko were being held prisoners, they were beginning to look for a way out.

"Jenna, have you managed to find a way out yet?" Kayko asked.

"No, I haven't found anything yet," Jenna said.

Just then they stopped looing when they heard footsteps coming down the steps.

Suzaku went to the cell and looked at the two captives.

"Yusuke is on his way here with his friends but they have to survive against my formless humans."

"He will stop you," Kayko said.

"My family will also stop you," Jenna said.

Suzaku just laughed and walked out of the chamber.

Yusuke and the group were about five miles away from the castle when Saba collapsed from exhaustion.

"Saba are you alright?" Balto said.

"Yeah Dad. I am just tired from walking so far."

"Come on sis, you can make it. We're almost there," Kodi said.

When they finally reached the castle there were about four hundred formless humans at the entrance.

"What are we going to do Dad?" Aleu said.

"I know Yusuke knows what to do and how to defeat them," Balto said.

The formless humans were running at the group while Yusuke and his friends were ready to fight.

Balto and his family just jumped in to help.

Kuwabara had his spirit sword out, slashing at the formless humans. Yusuke was using his shotgun which destroyed about twenty formless humans. Hiei was using the sword of the darkness flame to destroy his enemies faster. Kurama turned into Yoko Kurama and used his death tree to attack them since he lost his rose whip.

With only seven formless humans left, Balto jumped and swiped his paw at his oppponent but as soon as the paw connected with the opponent, he noticed it was glowing blue.

"What is happening!" Balto shouted.

Aleu was running at her opponent, she then growled at it, but as soon as she growled, a blue ray hot out of her mouth which destroyed the formless human.

"What was that?" Aleu said.

Yusuke and his three friends were surprised to see their canine friends using spirit attacks.

Dingo attacked his opponent by striking the formless human with his paw, but instead of it glowing like his father's, his claws got longer and the claws glowed as they cut through the enemy.

Kodi was staring at his opponent but Kodi's eyes started to glow and an energy orb crushed the vegetable-like human.

Saba stared at the two that were going to attack. She didn't know why, but two bolts of energy shot out of her right paw.

Lakota just bit down on the last formless human's neck which had an awful taste.

Yusuke ran to Balto and his family.

"What was that! I didn't know you five could use spirit energy."

Yusuke contacted Koenma and Botan and told them what they had just experienced.

Koenma was communicating to Balto and his family from spirit world.

"Since Yusuke told me what your new attacks look like, I guess you five finally tapped into your spirit energy. Balto, your attack will be called spirit swipe. Aleu, yours is called howling blaster. Dingo, yours will be called spirit claw. Kodi and Saba your attacks will be known as spirit sight and spirit strike."

"I better be more careful at home. Otherwise, Aleu may use that attack on me," Lakota said.

When Aleu heard that she hit him playfully on the shoulder.

"What was that for?"

Aleu just smiled at him.

When they all entered the castle they went through a long hallway and Yusuke remembered where they were.

"Shit! Run!" Yusuke shouted.

The ceiling still came down and Yusuke, Kuwabara, Hiei and Kurama were holding it up. Balto and his family were able to squeeze out through the gap.

"I see you six managed to get out of the gate of betrayal," said a flying eye with wings.

"Why is it called the gate of betrayal?" said Saba.

"Because you six decided to leave your friends to die and not help them."

Balto was angry at what the demon sadi and used his new attack on him. The small demon fell to the ground in four pieces.

Balto then pushed the lever up with his nose so that the ceiling would go back up.

When they all ran through the hallway they encountered Genbu the stone demon. 

Chapter 9: The Long Awaited Battle

Genbu's Lair

When Balto saw Genbu, he was wondering who should fight Genbu first.

Genbu looked at the arrivals and said "Who would like to die first?"

Lakota stepped forward but Aleu stepped in fornt of him.

"I'll take him on since you don't have spirit energy to use spirit attacks," said Aleu.

"Are you sure?" said Lakota.

Aleu gave him the look that meant "don't worry."

As she walked up to Genbu she looked him in the eyes.

Genbu looked down at Aleu and gave her an evil look.

Genbu unexpectedly slammed his stone fist into the ground but Aleu jumped back and shot her howling blaster at Genbu's hand and it fell into pieces. Aleu was surprised to see that Genbu now had only one arm to use, but Aleu saw the remains of Genbu's hand reform and reattach to his body.

"What happened? I destroyed your arm and it was in pieces!" Aleu shouted.

Genbu looked at her and laughed.

"HA HA HA! You can't kill me that easy!"

All of a sudden, Genbu dissappeared into the ground and Aleu was nervous because she did not know where and when he would appear. Aleu looked around to see where he would come out. Aleu didn't notice that Genbu was right behind her.

"Aleu! Behind you!" Lakota shouted.

Aleu turned around and saw him starring at her, she startted to back up but she felt her tail brush against a wall, when she turned around to see what it was, the wall crumbled. Genbu shot his hand at Aleu but she stepped back. When she took that step back a stone enclosure started to form around Aleu. The only part of Aleu that was visable was her head.

Lakota saw his mate trapped by this rock demon, Lakota just wanted to attack Genbu, but he knew he would not last.

Genbu was shooting stones the size of marbles at Aleu, and she knew if she did not escape she would not live.

What Saba did was helpful. She used hedr spirit strike to break the rock enclosure that surrounded her sister. She was succesful and Aleu was free even though her face bleeding due to the force of Genbu's attack.

Aleu shot another howling blaster at Genbu and this attack destroyed him completely, but the same thing that happened to his arm happened to his body, right before he reformed, Aleu noticed a red stone that was witht the rest of the other stones. Aleu mas one final attempt and used the last bit of her spirit energy to fire her howling blaster. When Genbu again fell to pieces, she grabbed the red stone, and when he reformed he did not look like he was supposed to. His left arm was where his head is, his left leg was where his right arm was supposed to be, and his head was in an area where it wasn't supposed to be.

When Genbu was looking at his opponent he noticed that she was upside down.

"Kodi, destroy this for me," Aleu said.

Kodi used his spirit sight and crushed the rock.

When Genbu saw that the rock was gone, he knew he was done for.

Since Aleu used all of her spirit energy, she could not finish him off. She looked toward Yusuke. Yusuke nodded and fired his spirit gun, wich finally killed Genbu.

When aleu walked back to the group, she collasped due to exhaustion from the fight and plus she was in pain.

Lakota ran up to her and nuzzled her.

"Are you alright dear?" Lakota said.

"Yeah, hon, I am alright," Aleu sad through gritted teeth.

Lakota helped Aleu walk since she was not able to stand up well.

Kurama walked up to Aleu and he gave her some healing herbs which healed her but it did not restore her spirit energy. Aleu could tell that she was feeling better but the blood was still on her face.

When they all left Genbu's lair, Muruku went to go tell Suzaku that Genbu was dead.

"Suzaku! Genbu has been defeated."

"What! Who did this?" said Shade.

"You're trying to kill her," said Muruku.

"What! You mean to say that Aleu killed Genbu."

"Actually she managed to make him reform wrong because his reforming stone was destroyed by her brother."

"How is that possible?" Shade yelled.

"What happened is that she somehow shot this blue ray out of her mouth which helped her defeat him," said Muruku.

"What do you mean by blue ray?" Shade said.

What Muruku means to say is that this Aleu character finally released the spirit energy that she had?" said Suzaku.

"What is this spirit energy?" Shade said.

"What I can do is, I can help you tap into your spirit energy so you can use your own spirit attacks," said Suzaku.
