can take care of that boy who helped them out as well," said Shade.

"I think we could use you to try to make the battle more even with them if you take care of what's-her-name, Aleu and her family, While we take care of Yusuke Urameshi," Elder Toguro said.

"It seems you have a new ally," Shade said.

With this pact made, a new dark alliance was formed.

 

Chapter 4: A New Dark Force

Shinjuku district 2003

Shade and the Toguro brothers were deciding on how they can take care of Aleu and Yusuke.

"How do you think we could eliminate them?" Elder Toguro asked.

"I don't know. What do you think?" Shade said looking at the Younger Toguro.

"I think I have an idea but it may require some extra assistance," Younger Toguro said.

"Who are you talking about?" Shade asked.

The Younger Toguro looked at his brother and smirked.

"I know who he is talking about,"

"Who?" Shade said.

"The Four Saint Beasts," Elder Toguro said with a shrieking laugh.

With that said the three made their way to demon world.

Meanwhile, Yusuke and the group of six canines, two demon allies and two close friends walked down to Yusuke's apartment when his demon compass reacted to three strong demon energy sources.

"What's wrong?" asked Jenna.

"My demon compass detects three sources of demon energy," Yusuke said.

"One of the must be Shade," Aleu said.

"The other two must be the Toguro brothers," Hiei said.

"What should we do?" Saba said.

"I'll let Koenma know what is going on here," Yusuke said.

"Why don't we just go stop them like before?" Kuwabara said.

"Because we don't know what to expect, moron," Hiei said.

"You know what, Hiei? I could beat you down to a pulp," Kuwabara shouted.

"Stop this fighting. It won't get us anywhere," Jenna said.

Hiei then turned to look at Jenna with an angry look in his eyes getting ready to draw out his sword but he did not.

"Why should I listen to a dumb bitch like you!" Hiei said.

With that said, Jenna just let her tears swell in her eyes and flow down her muzzle. She ran off feeling hurt about what Hiei had said.

"Jenna come back!" Balto shouted.

"Mom, don't run off. You don't know what is out there!" Aleu shouted.

It was too late. Jenna was out of earshot range to hear both of them.

"Why did you say that Hiei?" Balto said.

"Because you wife is getting on my last nerves. Telling me and the goof ball over here not to fight."

"What did you say?" Kuwabara said.

"All of you can continue fighting but I am going to go look for my mother. Anyone else coming?" Kodi said.

Dingo, Saba, Aleu and Balto followed Kodi, trying to find Jenna.

"Wait. I'm going with you," Kayko said.

"I'll help also," Kurama said.

After the argument between Hiei and Kuwabara finished they decided to help the others look for Balto's mate.

"Mother, please keep Jenna safe till we find her," Balto said to his mother Aniu.

In spirit world, Aniu the wolf Goddess heard her son's message and she went to ask Koenma if she could go to earth.

"Koenma, do you mind if I go to earth to protect my son's mate?" Aniu said.

"You may go," Koenma said.

With that said, Aniu made her way to earth.

While Jenna was walking down the street with blurred vision due to the tears still forming in her eyes, she did not know she was being followed by three stray dogs. When Jenna reached a dead end she turned around and saw the three dogs and froze in terror.

"Wh-what do you want?" Jenna said in a frightened tone.

"We just want to help a nice young lady like yourself," the dog said with a wide grin.

"Yeah. Can't you see were here to help you?" said the other dog, which was a German Sheperd.

Jenna didn't even notice the third dog approach her from behind, ready to jump at her.

As soon as the third dog jumped at Jenna, Aniu knocked the dog to the ground. The other dogs turned and saw this new opponent and Jenna knew she was safe around this new comer.

"What do you want?" said the dog on the ground.

"I would like it if you would leave her alone," Aniu said.

"Why should we?" said the German Sheperd.

With that said, Aniu lifted her head and let out a howl.

After Aniu howled the three dogs ran away leaving Jenna and Aniu.

"I want to thank you for helping me," Jenna said.

"You should not be thanking me but thank Balto," Aniu said.

"Why Balto?"

"Because he told me to protect you till they found you," Aniu said.

"I'll thank him when they find me. Uh, what is your name?" Jenna said.

"My name is Aniu. I am Balto's mother and that would make you my daughter-in-law," Aniu said.

"Oh, I am sorry Aniu," Jenna said.

"Don't worry my child."

Ten minutes later, Balto and the group found Jenna and the new comer.

"Who is your new friend mom?" Dingo said.

Before she could answer, Balto was staring at Aniu with his mouth wide open.

"Hello, my son," Aniu said.

Balto walked up to her and they nuzzled each other.

I can't believe you are here. I thought you were dead," Balto said with a sad tone.

I am dead. I just did what you told me to do and that was to protect Jenna," Aniu said.

"Mom, would you like to meet you grand kids?" Balto said.

"Sure," Aniu said.

Balto called his children to meet thier grandmother.

"Dingo, Kodi, Saba, Aleu. Come over here."

"Yeah, what do you want dad?" Saba said.

"I would like you to meet your grandmother, Aniu," Balto said.

With the small family reunion going on, Shade and the Toguro brothers made their way to demon world.

"How far do we have to go?" Shade said.

"It is not far from here," said the Elder Toguro who was on his brother's shoulder.

When they arrived at the castle, Shade was surprised at how huge it was.

"So, where are they?" Shade said.

"We need to go meet them inside. Oh, and watch out for the traps," Elder Toguro said.

"Brother, just tell him where the traps are so he does not look like a fool," said the Younger Toguro.

After they got through all of the traps, they encountered Genbu the first of the Saint Beasts.

"What do you want Toguro?"

"I was wondering if you would like to get revenge on Yusuke," Elder Toguro said.

"I would like to grind his bones to dust," Genbu said.

"Is Byakko in his lair?" Younger Toguro said.

When they reached Byakko's lair, Byakko was standing on a platform along with Seiryu and Suzaku.

"You better have a good reason for coming into our castle Toguro," said Seiryu.

"We just come to see if you want to get revenge on Yusuke Urameshi," Shade said.

"Who are you?" said Suzaku.

"My name is Shade and I am helping you because my enemy Aleu is helping your enemy."

"So you are on our side," Byakko said.

After two hours of discussing, the Four Saint Beasts decided to team up with the Toguro brothers and Shade to destroy their number one hated enemy along with Shade's enemy as well. 

Chapter 5: The Plan

After their meeting with the Four Saint Beasts, the Toguro brothers and Shade, they decided what to do. They waited for the right time to strike.

Back on earth, Balto was having a good time with his mother.

"So how long will you be able to stay?" Balto said.

"Not long. I have to return to spirit world and do my job which is to guard the gateway out of demon world," Aniu said.

Suddenly everyone heard a voice.

"Aniu, your time is up and you need to return."

"Alright Koenma. I'll have Botan take me back," Aniu said.

"Good-bye mother," Balto said.

"Good-bye grandmother," both Kodi and Dingo said.

"It was nice to meet you," Saba said.

"Same here," Aleu said.

"It was nice to finally meet you," said Jenna.

"Farewell my family," Aniu said.

When everyone said their good-byes, Botan took Aniu back to spirit world. However, since Aniu was gone the gateway was left alone, no one was guarding it, which was the best opportunity for the Toguro brothers, Shade and the Four Saint Beasts to escape.

"At least we got out," said Shade.

"Yeah. I wonder where that wolf goddess guard is at," said Elder Toguro.

"Wait. What do you mean by wolf goddess?" Shade said.

"The white wolf was a leader of a wolf pack but when she died her spirit awareness was very high and her name was Aniu," said Byakko.

"I think I have heard that name before. Wait! I have heard that name, when I was following Aleu. She said that Aniu was the name of father's mother," Shade said.

"If this Balto is related to the wolf goddess we have to be careful since she is very powerful," said Byakko.

"I was thinking, why don't we just go to earth and kill Yusuke," suggested Elder Toguro.

"We have to be careful remember. If Balto is Aniu's son he may be as powerful as she is if not more," said Genbu.

"What about Aleu?" Shade said.

"That's right. She is Aniu's granddaughter, but she may be more powerful then her father," said Seiryu.
