Balto, Jenna, Aleu, Kodi, Dingo and Saba are walking through the forest and encounter Shade the demon wolf. The seven get transported through a time warp to Japan in 2003. There Shade teams up with the four saint beasts and the Toguro brothers. Balto is overwhelmed by this team up and encounters Yusuke Urameshi the spirit detective of earth and together Balto and his family try and help Yusuke preserve the peace between earth and spirit world.

BALTO’S SPIRIT WORLD ADVENTURE

 

 

Chapter 1:The Encounter

Nome, Alaska 1927

Balto, the gray-brown wolf-dog of Nome, left his home, which was an abandoned trawler on the outskirts of Nome. As Balto was walking into the small town of Nome he noticed there was very little snow on the ground since it was the beginning of spring. While Balto was near the boiler room he spotted his two sons, Kodi and Dingo, and his daughter Saba.

"Dingo, Kodi, Saba." Balto said.

"Hey, Dad, where are you going?" asked Dingo.

"I'm on my way to your mother's." replied Balto.

"Do you mind if we come?" asked Saba.

"Sure," Balto said.

The four of them walked a little way down main street to get to Jenna's house.

In the forest outside of Nome, Aleu, Balto's other daughter who led a wolf pack, returned to Nome with her pack. The reason Aleu led a wolf pack was because when her brothers and sisters were adopted she was the only one who did not get adopted. She decided to see where she belonged. Later, she and father encountered a wolf pack led by Nava. When the time came for them to cross the great water, Aleu finally found her home.

When they reached land, Aleu encountered a grey wolf by the name of Lakota. Lakota was a lone wolf. He had been the leader of his own pack, but his entire pack was killed by Shade the demon wolf. This demon wolf was once black but its fur was burnt to the skin. He had maggots in his skin and he had a rotting smell.

When Aleu and Lakota first met it was love at first sight. When Lakota became Aleu's mate, he still missed his pack and was wondering if Shade would come and try to destroy his mate.

When Aleu's pack returned to Nome, she decided to introduce Lakota to her parents. Aleu and Lakota were resting under a tree when Aleu heard a voice:"You aren't going to live." Aleu woke up with a gasp.

"What's wrong, dear?" asked Lakota.

"It's nothing," Aleu said.

Meanwhile, back in the town of Nome, Balto, Dingo, Kodi, and saba arrived at Jenna's home. Balto scratched at her door.

"Come in," Jenna said.

Balto poked his head through the doggy door.

"Balto!" Jenna said happily.

"Jenna, we have three other guests."

"Well let them come in also."

When Balto entered the house his three children followed after him.

When the three came in, Jenna nuzzled all three then she gave Balto a canine kiss.

"So, what are you four doing here?" asked Jenna.

"I was wondering if you want to go see Aleu," Balto said.

"Sure," Jenna said.

"You three want to go see your sister with us?" Jenna said.

"Could we?" asked Saba.

"Sure. We haven't seen her in a long time," Balto said.

After that little meeting they made their way to the forest where Aleu and her pack lived.

When they reached the edge of the forest one of the wolves that made sure no rival packs come to their territory was on guard duty, and his name was Mataki.

"Who goes there?" he asked.

Balto, Kodi, Dingo, Saba and Jenna stopped to let the sentry know that they were Aleu's family.

"I'll be back," he said.

Ten minutes later, Mataki came back with Aleu and Lakota.

"Hey, guys, what are you doing here?" Aleu asked.

"We just came to see what you were doing," Dingo said.

"You guys want to go for a walk with us?" Lakota asked.

Aleu told Mataki to keep a good watch while she was gone.

While they were walking through the forest Aleu as walking close by Lakota. Jenna was also walking close by Balto. Kodi, Dingo and Saba were walking behind their parents and their sister and brother-in-law.

In the shadows of the forest, Shade the demon wolf was following the family at a close distance.

When they arrived at a clearing by a stream, they all went to get a drink of water.

All of a sudden Shade leapt from the shadows at Aleu, but Lakota intercepted him and they started rolling on the ground.

"Lakota!" Aleu shouted

Shade bit down on Lakota's right hind leg, leaving a deep gash, making it hard for him to move.

"Now where were we before I was rudely interupted," Shade said evilly.

"You leave her alone!" Lakota said.

Balto, Dingo and Kodi were protecting Aleu while Jenna and Saba were by her side.

When Shade made an attempt to attack them all, a bright white light engulfed them all.

Lakota didn't see what was happening but when the light cleared he was the only one in the clearing.

 

 

 

Chapter 2:New friends or New enemies

Tokyo, Japan 2003

Yusuke Urameshi, the spirit detective of earth, was having a friendly sparring match with his friend Kuwabara. Yusuke became spirit detective after he was given his life back. He came back to life because he saved a little kid's life. Yusuke was hit by a car when he pushed the little boy out of the way, and after a few weeks his life was restored since it was not his time.

After their sparring match, Yusuke decided to head to Kayko's house, which was also a restaurant. Yusuke and Kayko were really good friends and Kayko really cared about Yusuke.

In the spirit world, Koenma the young ruler sent his messenger named Botan to earth to inform Yusuke of a large amount of demon energy coming to earth.

"Yusuke!" Botan said.

Kayko and Yusuke looked up and saw Botan flying down to them.

"What's wrong now?" asked Yusuke.

"Spirit world has detected a huge amount of demon energy coming to earth, you should go check it out."

"Alright! Alright! I'll go! Just don't act all bitchy," Yusuke said.

"Let us know what you find," Botan said, then she took off.

Yusuke and Kayko walked five miles to where Yusuke's demon compass led them.

"This is where the energy is," Yusuke said.

"I don't see anything," Kayko said.

When they started to leave, a bright light formed in front of them. Yusuke readied his spirit gun to fire.

When the light cleared, Yusuke and Kayko saw six canines standing right where the light occured.

"Where are we?" Jenna said.

"I don't know, " replied Balto

"Where should we go?" asked Kodi.

"You ain't going anywhere demons!" Yusuke shouted.

"We are not demons," replied Aleu.

"Then why did spirit world detect your demon energy coming to earth?"

It must have been Shade they detected. They got us mixed-up with Shade, Aleu thought.

"Whatever you are thinking of it won't help once you go back to demon world."

"We are not from here. We are from Nome, Alaska," said Dingo.

"What did he say, Yusuke?" Kayko asked.

Yusuke replied, "He said, they are from Nome, Alaska."

Kayko gasped.

"What is it, Kayko?" Yusuke asked.

"That is on the other side of the Bering Strait" Kayko said.

"You really aren't from here are you?"

Meanwhile, back in the Forest outside of Nome...

Lakota was running back to the cave despite his injury to inform the rest of the pack about what happened.

"What's wrong?" asked Mataki.

"Aleu and her family disappeared, along with Shade."

"Shade? you mean the demon wolf?" replied Mataki.

"I better let the council know what happened." Lakota said.

All the wolves that were part of the council were wondering what was going on.

All of the wolves were silent when the saw Lakota step out on the rock shelf.

"I am sorry I called you so early but we have a serious problem at hand. It pains me to say it, but Aleu has disappeared along with here family."

After that was said, all the wolves started talking amongst themselves.

"Silence!" Lakota shouted.

All the wolves were quiet again.

"While Aleu is gone I am filling in as pack leader until my love returns," replied Lakota.

Some of the wolves didn't like the idea of Lakota running the pack, and some were plotting to have him removed so one of them could run the pack. The wolf who came up with this plot was named Kamots.

Meanwhile, back in Tokyo, Yusuke was trying to get the mix-up fixed since they now knew who the demon energy belonged to.

"So, the demon energy belonged to this demon wolf named Shade," said Yusuke.

"You say we are on an island called Japan in the city you call Tokyo," said Saba.

Before Yusuke could reply, Botan came flying in and Balto, Kodi, and Dingo took an offensive stance.

"Calm down, you three. She is here to help."

Yusuke, did you find that demon energy?"

"I thought I did, but I got these six mixed-up with the real demon energy.
