main cell block. Inside, Balto, Brent, and Rail Wolf came face to face with the ghost of Alcatraz prison.

‘’Steele,’’ Balto exclaimed, ‘’what the f…’’

‘’Yes Balto,’’ Steele cut in (for censorship purposes), ‘’it is I, Steele Doverman.’’

Brent gave a muffled laugh.

‘’He doesn’t even know his own last name,’’ he said, ‘’it’s Doverson, not Doverman!’’

Steele growled.

‘’I don’t recall asking for your input McWolfe!’’ he yelled. Rail Wolf shook his head.

‘’His last name’s MacWolf.’’ He answered.

‘’Who asked you Rod Wolf?’’ he questioned. Balto stepped forward and pointed his finger at Steele.

‘’Okay Steele, this game is over!’’ he ordered. A smug smile spread across Steele’s face.

‘’What game are you talking about Brian?’’ he asked. Balto bared his teeth.

‘’My name’s Balto! Balto, you dunce! Not Brian!’’ he thundered, stomping his hind paws hard on the stone floor. Just as Steele was about to say something, Seena came running in. Rail Wolf turned around and replied, ‘’Seena, it’s too dangerous in here.’’

‘’Save it, I’m a big girl,’’ she answered and pointed to Steele, ‘’you’re a fake!’’

All three of the Ghostbusters did double takes.

‘’What?!’’ they asked.

‘’That’s complete bullshit you foolish girl,’’ Steele snarled, ‘’you have no evidence to prove it!’’

Seena smiled.

‘’That’s what you think.’’ Seena remarked as she started to glow magenta. Above her, a wavy picture flickered in and out of focus. Finally, the image became clear. A black and white malamute stood with his arms folded.

‘’Balto, Seena’s right,’’ he replied, ‘’that punk’s a big fat phony!’’

Brent looked at Seena.

‘’Steele must be close if you’re able to train a constant telepathic signal on him.’’

Seena nodded.

‘’Good point,’’ she admitted, ‘’which means the real Steele’s gotta be in Alcatraz somewhere.’’

The true Steele nodded.

‘’I’m in a sort of mirror world. The portal’s somewhere on the upper floor.’’ He explained. The fake Steele laughed the laugh of a maniac.

‘’I guess the jig’s up,’’ he replied, ‘’no sense in hiding it anymore.’’

The fake Steele clutched his paws as a demonic grin appeared on his face. His black and white fur disappeared to reveal a transparent body. The five watched in horror as the fake Steele revealed his true form. He was a ghost with a large transparent body. Sharp spikes ran down his backside, and on his chest was a mirror. Balto knew who this ghost was in a flash.

‘’You,’’ he growled, ‘’you’re the ghost that got away back in 1972!’’

The ghost nodded.

‘’I’m surprised you couldn’t figure that Balto,’’ he answered, ‘’I made it painfully obvious.’’

‘’But one thing still remains unanswered,‘’ Rail Wolf noted, ‘’if you’re the fake Steele, how long has the real Steele been held captive?’’

The ghost counted his claws mockingly.

‘’About fifteen years or so.’’

‘’But why would you do such a thing?’’ Seena questioned the spectre, who still smiled.

‘’Quite simply, I did it to rid the ghost world of the Ghostbusters forever.’’

‘’Ahh, I see now,’’ Brent replied, ‘’by posing as Steele, you could destroy the Ghostbusters from the inside.’’

The ghost laughed again.

‘’Good boy,’’ he remarked, ‘’you deserve a bone, but I don’t have time to give you one. I have to leave. Adieu, until we meet again suckers!’’

The ghost then disappeared. Seena held her temples and tracked the ghost to a cell at the back of the upper cell block.

‘’Cell B-355.’’ She said. The Ghostbusters and Seena ran up the old metal stairs and stopped in front of Cell B-355. Brent pulled out his PKA Meter (measures ghost activity). Hold it out in front of the cell door, the four watched as the needle moved to the right.

‘’Yup, this is it,’’ Brent explained, ‘’the PKA meter’s reading of 11. And it only goes up to 10!’’

‘’One question,’’ Balto asked, ‘’how in the hell are we going to get past that old metal door. It’s got to be rusted shut!’’

Rail Wolf stepped back and ran at the door.

‘’Get outta my way!’’ he yelled as he went headlong into the door. The door acted like water as Rail Wolf flew right through it.

‘’It’s a fake door.’’ Balto gasped. Brent smiled.

‘’Balto, in this business, you have to expect the unexpected.’’ He replied as he stepped through the fake door. Balto and Seena shrugged and walked through as well.

The Mirror World,

Seconds later…

‘’Where the heck are we?’’ Balto asked. Brent was wondering the same thing. This world was like another dimension. Mirrors floated in mid-air, and lay everywhere. Brent walked forward, oblivious to the mirror the he was heading for.

‘’This place is weird. Whoa!’’

Brent had fallen through another portal. As his friends watched, Brent fell out of another mirror in the air. Slamming against the ground, Brent looked around in confusion.

‘’How in the hell?’’ Brent questioned as he got up and brushed the dust from his fur.

‘’This place is like a Picasso painting!’’ Rail Wolf added. Suddenly, a familiar voice broke the silence.

‘’Balto? Brent? Rail Wolf? How the hell did you get into this world?’’ it asked. All four turned and came face to face with the real Steele. Balto ran up and hugged him.

‘’Balto, stop it. I don’t swing that way.’’ Steele retorted. As if from pure instinct, Brent jumped and shoved his friends to the left as a mirror sailed through the air. The ghost from Alcatraz floated in the air. He smiled and replied, ‘’having fun are we? Are you enjoying my realm?’’

Rail Wolf answered that question with quite the answer.

‘’I’m having a ball…of course we aren’t enjoying your realm! What do you think we are; retards?’’

‘’You want me to answer that question honestly?’’ he questioned sarcastically. Rail Wolf aimed his photon pistol and fired. The electric shot cut through the air like an arrow, but missed the ghost. He retaliated by throwing mirrors at his enemies. The five friends dove behind a large mirror as they heard the mirrors break. Brent, however, was smiling.

‘’What’re you so happy about?’’ Steele asked.

‘’Brent’s got a plan.’’ Balto remarked. Brent nodded.

‘’Oh yeah. That ghost is only using brute strength to beat us. Strength by itself is a mighty thing, but it can be overcome.’’ He explained.

‘’And what exactly do you have in mind?’’ Rail Wolf questioned.

‘’Strategy. What I’ve learned from being a time cop was that outsmarting an enemy is better than out-beating them. All we have to do is get the jump on him. All we need now is a diversion.’’

Seena nodded.

‘’Leave that to me.’’ She replied. Brent smiled and stretched out his paw. Balto placed his on top, as did Steele, Rail Wolf and Seena.

‘’Who ya gonna call?’’ Steele asked. The five threw up their paws and yelled, ‘’Ghostbusters!’’

The Ghostbusters ran from their cover and got into position. Seena concentrated on her friends. She knew she’d be able to help if this worked. The ghost turned and smiled.

‘’So, you maggots finally decided to come out and face me.’’ He said, with a small hint of admiration in his sinister voice. Balto gave a small grin.

‘’Before we fight, we need to know something.’’

The ghost seemed surprised.

‘’What?’’ he ordered.

‘’Your identity.’’ Steele finished. The ghost shook his head.

‘’Fine, you get that pleasure,’’ the ghost closed his eyes, ‘’my name is Blaze. (Note from the author: This guy was the villain of my first fan fiction Silver’s Story.). I was killed by a wolf-dog named Silver. I became a ghost and decided to create this mirror world as a reflection of my own troubled mind. But enough of my past. By the end of this battle, you’ll be the one’s who will be history!’’

Brent smiled.

‘’What’re you grinning for MacWolf?’’ Blaze questioned. Brent turned and
