“Talkeet,” Shadow said, “I do, as of this moment in time, confer upon you the rank of Lieutenant, and all of the responsibilities there to, until the point in time where it seems necessary to relieve you.”

“You did good kid.” Shadow said.

“Go tell your dad, and the other lieutenants to meet Aleu, myself, and the council, at the water hole in about two hours.”

“Yes sir.” Talkeet said.

He ran from the chamber.
