own lines, they were empty; several gunshots could be heard behind me. I didn’t care I was in too large a panic. I started running somewhere, I noticing that I was taking myself back towards the SS line. Soon I felt something underneath me go ‘bang’. I rose 3 feet into the air and then hit the ground, huge pain covered my whole body.

I started screaming once again. No one came to help me.

I screamed louder when I saw that I had lost my both front paws and my stomach had been ripped open. I finally saw what kind of world I had inside of me. Blood ran out of my body. Finally I understood what was going to happen to me… I was dying.

”NO I DON’T WANT TO DIE!” I shouted once again into the air then I felt my heart slowing down. I could feel the wind and the smell of burnt flesh. I saw dead bodies on the ground around me, I was soon to be one of them. I ran onto a mine and paid the price.

’Can I be happy when I die? I can’t I just started living! I….’ My thoughts ended suddenly when my heart skipped several beats. Then I didn’t feel anything as my head dropped onto the ground and my eyes closed. My last view was of my second leader lying far from me.

I saw darkness then I didn’t felt anything except winds blow. I died with the others when the US made an attack against the SS for one hill. What a horrible way to die…..
