What Happens Now?

What really happened after Balto and his team returned with the medicine

The fame and glory he received was only the good part in his life after the run. His pain cannot be described, but was torture to us who tortured him.

Sent away to a new part of the world. after the plane left, the owner abused him and the others.

Two down, six to go.

A year of toture for heroes goes by, and a new man takes them in instead, and puts them in a zoo.

Three more down, three to go.

More years go by, and only three dogs left. still living in a zoo like wild animals. Some kids throwing food at them, and teasing the once noble heroes, who've now lost hope in life.

Two down, one left.

The once noble hero is now alone, with no one to help him. In his last days, he lays down on the floor and wonders, "What did I do to deserve this?"

One down, no one left.

All dead now, no one left to abuse or starve for doing a life-saving deed. His body preserved, stuffed and placed on display at a mueseum.

This dog will never be forgotten, and will be cryed over for what happened to him and his team.

The only thing these dogs had only two years after the run was grief, pain, torture, and fear. No one loved them except for the few children who eyed the remain at the zoo.

No one's left to die, I hope us humans are happy for what we did, because it's gonna bite us in the butt one day.

Let this hero, who we few know and love, live on as one instead of a tortured soul. The only curse on this planet, is being human...
