opposed them. She also had a weapon attached to her side, but it wasn't sheathed and Balto recognized it as the knife that killed the raptor officer. The creature had flaming golden eyes with black pupils like a cat's. His entire face was lizard like, but it was more scaely. His scales was the color of a red ruby, and he had horns on the side of his head and on the back of it, that made it seem like a crown.
"Welcome," he said with a deep voice. As he spoke, his pearl white teeth could be seen, and they looked as if they were the size of Sapphire's knife, "My name is Galmorick. This is my home; I sent my top assaisins, and ninja," he looked at Sapphire with gratitude and she bowed her head in respect, "to rescue you from the lab. We did so, mainly, because our gang is under the threat of destruction. What we need is a spy, and that my friend is you," Balto was amazed. Galmorick looked serious about this and he added, "You will not do this mission alone, you will be accompinied by my other spies," he looked at a doorman, and he opened a door. Two figures stepped into the room; both of whom were in the from of rabbits, yet still, they both stand on their hind legs and they're both the size of full grown men. Though one was biger than the other, and he had a small tuff of fur on his head that gave him a funny look, "Balto, this is Hazel," he pointed at the smaller of the two, "and Bigwig," Star giggled under his breath but Kaltag heard him, and he punched the top of Star's head, and he fell to the floor unconcious. Galmorick just shook his head in displeasement. Kaltag lowered his head with an ashamed look on his face and he whimpered a bit before raising his head again, "Bigwig and Hazel are not only experts at infiltration, but they're also expert fighters," Bigwig smiled evily and he cracks his knuckles, and Hazel just rolled his eyes.
"Your mission will start in two months; but in the mean time, you'll be trained by General Woundwort. He's my top fighter, and trainer, he'll make you a leathal weapon," the one known as Bigwig walked up to Balto and said in a heavy gruff voice, "Follow me," and Balto did so. Bigwig lead him through many door ways and hallways, until they reached a training room. It was very large, and it had bricks, wooden blocks, and punching bags almost everywhere.
"NEVER SHOW MERCY TO YOUR OPPONENT NO MATTER WHO HE OR SHE IS!" an angry voice echoed through out the room. BigWig walked toward a railing and he looked down, with his ears hanging over his head.
"Woundwort never did like teaching new recruits," he said as Balto walked up to him, "If you don't do what he syas, you'll be having a good beating across the face. Oh, and be sure to call him 'sir.' He doesn't like it when he's not referred to it; but he may have you as an acception sincer you're new. He went down a flight of stairs and he followed as fast as he could. They were now on the same level as the area where BigWig was looking at. In front of them, was a group of ten creature humans, and cyborgs. In the front of the whole group was another, very large rabbit. He was bigger than Bigwig, and he had many scars. He was showing his teeth in anger, and his left eye was completley white. He looked over at him and Bigwig and said, "It's about time he got here Thlayli; I wa starting to wonder if he either died or they all had," he walked toward the them and twitched his ear to one side. He spun around quickly and yelled, "DO FIFTY PUSH UPS; ON ACCOUNT OF NACROM MUMBLING SOMETHING!" the whole class moaned and groaned in disagreement and all but one did push-ups. The one that still stood, was one of the cyborgs. The giant rabbit stomped over to him, and cuffed the cyborg's metalic face and yelled again, "PUSH THE MUTE BUTTON OFF DIM-WIT!" the cyborg pushed a button on the side of is head and started to do push ups. The rabbit walked back over to them and said, "So this is Balto eh? I was expecting something a bit more different, but oh well; come with me. Thlayli," he turned to Bigwig and he snapped his head toward him, "Instruct the class, and don't go easy on them."
"Yes sir," said Bigwig and he ran to the front of the class.
"Excuse me," Balto said, "are you Woundwort?" the rabbit glared at him and replied, "That's General Woundwort to you recruit!" he snapped, "any more questions?"
"Yes sir, just one more. Why were you calling Bigwig 'Thlayli'?"
"In rabbit language," he said, walking up the stairs with Balto next to him, "It means 'fur head' and beacause of his little furry frined ontop of his head, that's how he got his name. Plus the first time we met, when we were ordinary rabbits that is, we were enemies, and I referred to him as Thlayli then."
"So he's still your enemy?"
"Not yet," he growled, "but if he does something to tick me off, I'll rip off his ears!" Balto's eyes widened in fear, but he got used to the gruesome threats as he was being trained. They started out with punching drills, then kicking, and then blocking. After that, he taught Balto how to first attack an opponent; and they even faught eachother for a while as training over what Balto just learned. They took a break for water, and Balto was panting hard with exhaustion; he never knew what Woundwort was going to do next, or know what type of drill he's going to teach. When Balto got back, he heard some sort of battle cry near where the other class was. He walked over to the railing and saw Sapphire in the same chinese dress fighting the hawk creature he met when he first came here. He was wearing a black ninja suit; but without the face mask. It looked like they were training, and Sapphire was not winning. He kept on countering her attacks, and blocking every move she came up with. Finally, she did something new apparently, and threw him to the ground.
"She's good with the sneaky part," Balto looked beside and saw Bigwig watching, "but not so well with the fighting part."
"But," Balto said still watching the two fight, "I saw her take on four raptor cops without getting a scratch on her."
"That's because she had weapons with her," he replied, "That's really the only reason why she survived. Weapons will not always be there Balto; so she has to learn how to use her hands and feet, and to learn how to use her wolf instincts instead of her human ones. Aleu's afraid that she'll die because of the human instincts that Sapphire follows. We used to have ten elite creatures who were the best at fighting. But all of them relied on their human side to take care of things instead of their animal side. They were also the ones who taught Sapphire, and I blame them for having her trust her human side instead of her true side," Bigwig snarled in anger and then said, "You'd better get some sleep 'cause if you thought today's training was bad, just wait 'till tomorrow," and he walked off. Balto went downstairs to watch Sapphire and the creature fight.
"C'mon Bullet," Balto could hear Sapphire pleading, "just use your human side just this once?"
"No!" the hawk creature named Bullet growled, "My orders were to make sure you learn how to fight with your wolf side, not human! It's not that hard Sapphire, just think of being angry."
"I'm agry right now and it's still not doing anything!" Balto could see that they were still fighting, and as he walked onto the cold florr, Bullet kick Sapphire across the room. She went airborn for five seconds then slid on her rump to the wall, and she banged her head hard against the wall, "Ow!" she yelled rubbing the back of her head. Balto walked up to Bullet and asked, "May I try? Maybe it'll be better if she saw what it's like to us her wolf instincts," Bullet nodded his head and he stood still for a moment; then he attacked Balto with his talons. Balto dodged and swept Bullet's feet so he fell backwards. But as he fell, Bullet turned, and with one mighty flap of his wings, he back on his feet. Balto went to all fours and lunged at Bullet with his jaws wide open. Suddenly, Balto felt a change. He grew smaller than before and the clothes he wore didn't fit. Instead of landing on Bullet, he landed on the floor and looked down. The sleeve of his shirt was on the ground so he took that off, same with the jeans, but he wasn't part human. He had changed to his normal form. Is this what Glamorck wants Sapphire to learn? he thought to himself. He heard a bird screech and looked up. He saw Bullet in his hawk form, flying in circles above his head. Balto heard a screamm and looked behind him, and saw Sapphire covering her eyes. Balto did feel a bit larger than when he was in his true form; and then it hit him. He changed back. He put the clothes back on quickly, and blushed in embarrassment. He could hear Bullet laughing, "Well," Bullet said still chuckling a bit, "now you why we want her to be able to do that. It makes us back to normal; it's too bad that it only lasts a short time."
"Yeah, well" Balto said as he started leaving the room, "next time, please warn me."
"No problem with that," and Balto left the room.
Balto wasn't sure where to go. Most of the doors lead to training rooms, and others lead to hallways that just lead to the loud room with bright lights. But he was tired, so he looked for Jenna, to ask her where he sleeps. He found her chatting with Dusty, a husky, and Trixie, a short chubby dog. When he asked her where he sleeps, she took him to a door and opened it, "This is where you sleep," Balto walked inside and heard the door shut behind him. He didn't mind, all he wanted now was some
