Back in the cave Steele really hated Balto and wanted to kill him with his own bare paws. But he had got word that Balto is in a mail trip. “Half –breed you just got lucky this time you just wait. I won’t rest till I see you suffering from death.” He said gritting his jaws of terror. “When you die I’ll have Jenna all to my self.” Band was entering the room when he heard what Steele said about Jenna. “Boss what is our next strike on wolf dog?” Band said interrupting Steele’s daydream vision. Steele looked over his shoulder to see Band standing in the entrance of the cave. “Well come in already you idiot malamute!” Steele hissed Band rolled his eyes walked in the cave. “Where is Samoyed?” He asked Band gritting his teeth. “Sir he went to hunt for food just like you ordered.” Band said, “Good, at least he listens to me.” Steele said Band rolled his eyes again. “Now leave me to peace so I can have my sleep! He said, “Yes sir.” Band said walking out of the chamber.

Dingo was walking the streets of Nome again. To visit his sister Saba. Dingo suspected something up with her. But he couldn’t tell what. He reached were Saba lived her owners were out of town for a while so she had the place to her self. Dingo scratched on the doggie door but heard no reply. “Saba?” He asked then again no reply. He decided to go in and see. He walked through the doggie door to see Saba sleeping in her bed. He went closer to her and nudged her awake. Saba eyes opened a little bit she saw Dingo piercing over her. She yawned then sat up. “Sorry sis to wake you up.” He said in an apologetic tone. “No I was about to wake up any way.” She said, “So what’s up?” she asked him

“Nothing much.” He said, “Are you going to tell me what’s up with you?” Saba gave him a glare then raised her eyebrow. “For……?”

Dingo cut her off “For acting strange.” He said Saba shot him a glare. “I’m happy about something Dingo it’s suppose to make you happy.” “but then again why aren’t you happy.” She said looking at the ground. “Come now sis don’t cry on me I just want to share your joys so I can be happy just like you.” He said putting his paw under Saba’s chin making it lift up. Saba smiled. “Come on bro lets go see how mom is doing.” Dingo nodded followed Saba outside.

Back in Aleu’s chamber Shadow was playing with his kids while Aleu went to Melody’s chambers. Shadow slowly sat down his mind wandered to the day when Aleu had met him. He drifted back to the past ““He was on a patrol that Aleu led. He saw a hunter taking aim at her.. He jumped in front of her just as he shot. The other wolves ran for the cave. The marksmen put four more shots into other wolves dropping them in mid run. Well Aleu stayed with us wounded. Nava led an attack out of the cave and the marksmen ran away. Nava came back over to Aleu. He was interrupted by footsteps coming to the cave. Shadow walked to the entrance of the cave. He saw a black blur shoot out of the woods. The image was clear to Shadow it was a dog. He was a black and white. But suddenly Shadow was thrown to the ground.

The malamute was thrown off of Shadow by one of his strong attacks. The three kids hid in a small hole so they could be safe. They began to worry for their father. The malamute pressed Shadow against the cave wall.

Shadow gave all of his strength to the back legs he hit the malamute in the stomach making him fly out of the chamber. The malamute hit a tree. Shadow went outside and looked at the malamute. The malamute glanced at him then ran away. Shadow entered the chamber to find the three pups. They came running to him. “Dad are you okay?” all three of them asked their wounded father.

“Yes I’m okay.” he said in pain. Blood was flowing from the wounds Shadow got from the fight about ten minutes ago. It had covered the floor where Shadow was lying. Aleu was making her way back from Melody’s chamber she felt uneasy when she was walking for her chamber. She could feel as the spirits were telling her for the trouble. She made it to her chamber she could get the smell of blood coming to her nose “Blood?” then it hit her “Shadow” she said. She ran inside she saw the pups sleeping beside Shadow, it looked as if they didn’t care if he was covered in blood. Aleu went to Shadow’s side. Shadow heard someone’s paws walking on the cave floor. He awoke in cold sweat but then he saw Aleu. She signaled him to come outside. He got up slowly and headed outside where Aleu was sitting. “You wanted to see me.” He said “Shadow what happened?” she said “I was attacked.” He said “By whom?” she said with tears flowing from her dark blue eyes. “It was a malamute.” He said looking at her “H….how would a malamute know you Shadow?” she said “I don’t know Aleu.” he said

“Shadow I thought I lost you when I saw the blood.” She said with tears splattering on the floor from her eyes. Shadow walked over to her. She nuzzled his neck. Aleu looked at the wounds on Shadow and began to lick them. Shadow winced in pain. “I’m sorry.” She said looking at him. He winked at her she smiled. “Aleu, what were going to tell me?” He asked me”.Aleu sighed but she knew he would never let it go until she told him. “Alright I’ll tell you I had a dream I was in the main chamber. There I saw Dash and Melody dead on the floor. I ran out of the cave and stumbled in to you and Timbre. You too were dead. I had started to sob very much collapsing on the floor. But suddenly I saw three black dogs they said “ YOU MUST DIE”! They screamed and jumped at me”.Aleu finished telling Shadow about the dream. Shadow told her not to worry he wouldn’t let anybody hurt her. Aleu helped Shadow back to the chamber they both laid down beside their kids and fell fast asleep………..

Back in Nome Alaska Saba and Dingo were talking and walking to their mother’s house. On their way they saw Kodi but Kyle was there also it looked like Kodi was picking a fight with him. “Come on now Kodi don’t worry I won’t hurt you. Kyle said laughing Kyle and his gang were circling Kodi “You know Kodi your sister Saba is cute.” Kyle said whispering it in Kodi’s ear. Kodi’s fur was bristling when he heard that sickening comment. Dingo and Saba were amazed by Kodi’s behavior. Kodi growled at Kyle. Kyle became scared and ran off with his gang. Saba and Dingo came to Kodi “so what did he say to you?” Saba asked her brother. Kodi glanced over his shoulder to see his sister and brother. “so what did he say to you?” She asked again “Oh it was nothing sis.” Kodi said to his sister. “So where are you guys heading for?” He asked her “We are going to mom’s.” she said to her brother “you want to come?” she said “Sure.” he said then the three of them began walking to Jenna’s house. On their way to Jenna’s house they were talking about how they were pups. “You know something?” Saba said “What?” Kodi asked “Don’t you guys remember when we were pups we didn’t care about our brothers and sisters.” She said, “What do you mean there sis?” Dingo asked, “I mean we didn’t care if one of us got hurt I know we were only eight weeks old, but now look at us we care about each other so much.” She said with small grin. Kodi and Dingo nodded everything Saba was saying was true. “Your right.” Both of her brothers said. “Come on I must have stopped us from going to mom sorry.” She said apologetic tone. “It’s okay.” Kodi said. So they carried on their way to Jenna’s house

Then he got it “What if I leave and Blaize can take lead for me he is faster than me.” He thought about for a while but now his mind was made up. “Blaize is going to be taking my place.” He thought He stood up began walking for Blaize’s direction.
